Arrrr! What a fun story. This is my first book by this author and did not know what to expect. I am so glad that I read this book. YA genre is a great genre to read because you never know what to expect. The plotline held my attention until the end of the book. The cast of characters are fully thought out and relatable. In this story there is a group of Buccaneers (8th graders to be proper) who have been raising money to be able to buy items for homeless shelters in NYC. Now the group has decided to go and solve the mystery of who is stealing their things for the shelters. I highly recommend reading this book before you have to walk the plank.
