I enjoyed this young adult paranormal story. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her yet. This is a well written story that took me on an apocalypse adventure like no other. The characters are relatable and brought the story to life on each page I read. This is a fast paced story that will take you on an adventure of having the choice of bringing an apocalypse or saving a mother. Ivy-Jean is a tall, awkward teenager who is left with no choice to either end humanity or save her mother all because she opened someone else’s mail. What happens next, I highly recommend reading to find out. This is a truly a great story that will take you on a nonstop adventure.

Tapestry Of Worlds, Part Two: Running and Gunning by Hadley Thorne is a brilliant young adult story. This book can be read as a stand-alone although personally I would recommend reading them in order for a better understanding and enjoyment overall.
I found this book to be a well thought out and gripping story. I was pulled into it straight away and soon found myself unable to put the book down. I really felt like I was on the journey with the characters, right there with them experiencing everything they did.
The author has created what I think is quite a unique story. Although I have seen book that mesh magic and technology together I haven’t seen any try to do it in this way before. The book is exciting to read and I would certainly recommend it to any fan of the genre.

I enjoyed this young adult story. This is a well written story about young love, broken hearts and finding a way to heal. The characters brought the story to life on each page I read. This is an engaging story that pulled me in from the beginning. I found the characters to be relatable and made the story entertaining to read. A teenage girl is broken from her first love when he turns up dead. She goes on vacation for the summer trying to heal but it doesn’t work. Then one night she meets him and they have a real connection. But what will happen when she finds out that he is a teacher? Things are now turned upside down, will they ever go back to normal? The characters are what made this story for me and the emotions they go through. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout the story. This is truly a great story that I highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this audiobook! I think it is probably one of the best that I have listened to so far. The narrator was brilliant, she really brought the story to life. The story was excellent, I love historical romance but usually in the early 1900’s so this was more modern for me but I loved it. The characters were brilliant, Jenny was a brilliant female lead, she made me laugh so many times. The time went so fast whilst listening because I was so engrossed in the story. I would highly recommend this audio book I thought it was absolutely brilliant!

This is a great collection of seven stories by seven great authors. Some of them are new to me and some are my favorites. There is something for everyone in this collection. The characters are mystical, magical and will take you on an adventure. Each story is unique and well written. The characters are fun, entertaining and give the story a realistic feel. One of my favorites is Dragon’s Heart. This is Geraint and Mary’s story. Geraint is a dragon shifter waiting for his mate to show themselves. Mary is a dragon mate who has been dreaming of dragons her whole life. Until she turned twenty-one and her dreams changed. Are they mates? This is a great story I truly enjoyed from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book and find a favorite story like I did.

Wow what a story! I think I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through the book, I was completely hooked from beginning to end and what a cliff-hanger! I definitely cannot wait for the next book in the series! Jordan and Grant were great characters to read about, they had so much chemistry. I loved the different twists and turns in the story – this definitely is what kept me on the edge and engaged the whole way through. I am so excited for the next book in this trilogy – I can’t wait!!!
Fabulous writing by this author and a highly recommended read!

This was a great story and the cliff hanger at the end has me wanting the second book now. The author has done a great job  with the characters. I especially love Jordan, she is a strong independent woman and knows what she wants in life.

Jordan and Grant meet in The Guard. When there is a break in at Jordan’s work, Officer Grant is sent to the rescue. The connection and attraction between them is instant.
The couple decide to see where it leads. Things seem to be off to a good start until Jordan starts reviewing mystery messages and Grant is getting threatening messages.

With the threats getting worse and their relationship getting stronger can they figure out who the stalker is in time?

After loving book 1 in this series, I couldn’t wait to read this one and revisit the Andarakis family again with Mia’s story and as I expected I loved every minute of it. I loved Mia, she was such a. Great character to read about and the authors attention to detail meant that I felt like I was right there with the characters at times. I really enjoyed the relationship between Mia and Nicholas, they certainly got off to a rocky start but I was secretly rooting for them the whole way through!
I really like this author; her stories flow so well and are always a pleasure to read. I am really looking forward to the next one!

Wow. This was gripping from the first paragraph! I was immediately drawn in by this story and the main character, the plot and writing are so faced paced and interesting all the way through. I really liked the way Nacole draws you in, keeps you guessing and then drops the absolute mic on you with this story. I really really enjoyed the writing style in this book, it was effortless to read and I felt compelled to pick up my kindle whenever I possibly could to get further into this intriguing story. I feel like the characters were expertly developed – Especially Ann and Aunt Meredith. I would recommend this book to everybody, I think it was absolutely fantastic.

Its the story of Evelyn Berlinger who is a 21st Century Courtsean. Rich, lonely, broken men come to see her. Evie has had a rough childhood and a certain tragic even totally changed her whole world. So now she is an empath and tries to help others with her power. Evie is still grieving over the love of her life Wyatt who she married on his deathbed. Now that he has passed she has mixed feelings about his brother Easton. Add her boyfriend Dylan to the mix and you have a very steamy love triangle! Evie is so confused and literally heartbroken over Wyatt so she doesn’t understand her feelings for Easton or Dylan. If Evie doesn’t settle down soon her past is going to catch up with her and blow everything up. This is such a fast paced, dark read. Be prepared to not put it down until you finish!

Murder at Honeybee Lake (Shadow of a Doubt Book 2) by Jessica Aiken-Hall. I loved this book. I started it and didn’t stop until I was finished. Its the story of Randy Fletcher a best selling author who writes best at his home on Honeybee Lake. He lives there with his boyfriend hopefully husband soon, Ben. He feels safest at his home until a body is found in the water right by his dock. Randy feels like his sanctuary has been infiltrated and he doesn’t know if he can stay there. When he gets arrested for the murder of his ex boyfriend (the body that washed up) his sister tries to help him. Mandy is happily married and has a new baby but when her brother is in trouble she drops everything to help him. When she starts to uncover his past she starts to question if her brother is really who she believes him to be. Will Randy be able to get out of this mess that has now become his life? I thoroughly enjoyed this engaging paranormal crime novel which is book two in the ‘Shadow of a Doubt’ series. I would recommend reading the previous book as the characters do crossover and Tessa’s backstory was also explained. In this novel we are back with Tessa Stevens who has a special gift of being able to communicate with the dead. Following an abusive relationship author Randy Fletcher has been taking things slowly with boyfriend Ben, but as he enjoys the quiet solace of Honeybee Lake Randy decides to take his relationship to the next level. Randy’s past comes back to haunt him when a body shows up in the water and his safe place is threatened. As evidence piles up looking as though Randy is guilty of this murder he and his sister Mandy Blake must prove his innocence and the best way to do that is to find the real killer. When Mandy asks her sister in law Tessa to communicate with the victim she has to reconsider her belief that her brother is innocent. Randy is determined to discover the truth but both temptation and betrayal make him question everything and it might be to late to find the answers he seeks.

This was a real page turner and the plot twists kept me guessing until the end. The storyline does contain sensitive subject matter but it is dealt with sensitively. I was gripped from page one and couldn’t put this book down. The characters and the setting are bought to life by the descriptive narrative and the storyline flowed well. I liked how Tessa’s character had developed from book one and I look forward to future books with her as the main character. The book is written from Mandy and Randy’s point of view and this worked well and added to the overall drama and suspense of the story. I recommend this mystery crime novel with a paranormal twist as a great read.

Whew! What a spicy read! It was steamy, but full of a plot that kept me turning pages to see everything unfold. I liked Layla from book 3, and was excited to be able to read her story. I love how brave and determined she was, really willing to risk it all. Dereck came off strong from the beginning, but he quickly grew on me. He helped Layla be able to drop her guard with him, and was determined to keep her safe. Overall I enjoyed this read!

‘Love by Design’ is book two in ‘The Meraki Series’, however it can be read as a standalone story but the characters do crossover. Having enjoyed the previous book I was looking forward to this instalment and was not disappointed. Mia Andarakis is Kally from ‘Love Is What You Bake Of It’ sister, who has just started her new dream job at a luxury magazine. Mia can’t believe that the man she’s had a crush on, Nicholas Aristedis is her boss however, he is nothing like she had imagined and seems to actually dislike her making it almost impossible for them to work together. Nicholas is determined to avoid any more heartbreak and so has closed his heart to love but Mia has awakened feelings in him and the only way to deal with these is to push her away. When Mia and Nicholas have to work together to launch a new publication they discover that their connection is deeper than either of them realised. Nicholas also helps Mia to uncover the mystery behind her grandfather’s disappearance. The couple have to learn to forget their past traumas and to trust in love. This is a heartwarming romance which took me on an emotional rollercoaster and I felt engaged with the likeable and relatable characters. The picturesque locations where bought vividly to life by the wonderfully descriptive narrative making me feel immersed in the storyline. I could not put this book down and would recommend both this book and the previous one in the series.

Jake the Growling Dog goes to Doggy Daycare was a super cute, make you feel good book, with a great message behind it. All 3 of my young boys really enjoyed the book and loved the colorful, beautifully drawn illustrations throughout. I think it would be geared to toddlers to young children but even older kiddos might benefit from it as it has little activities at the end such as: Jake encouraging new experiences, Adventure tips, and a breathing activity. I also really liked how the author included a picture at the end of the “real” Jake! I’d definitely recommend the book!

The Earl and the Peahen (The Scarlet Salon Book 5) by Jean Wilde is a wonderful historical romance novel. Jane Mayfield is not a beauty like he mother or her sisters. At 25, Jane is older than many of the debutants of society, but her friend Isabelle for the season to find a husband. Jane doesn’t wish to marry just anyone like the older suitors who are close to her father’s age. She dreams of finding a love match. Through Isabelle and her husband Jane meets Alexander, the Earl of Norwich at a event. Soon after meeting Jane and Alexander have a conversation about his waistcoat, which Jane compares to getting attention like a male peacock!
Jane and Alexander are wonderful characters who are brought together again when they are kidnapped by mistake. Their friendship begins in this awful setting. I’m sure you will fall in love with these two like I did.

I Will Bury You by Brandy Nacole  was a really thrilling read! At the beginning I wasn’t sure I was going to like it that well, and it wasn’t until after the middle of the book that I really got hooked. This book was very thrilling,  and exciting and entertaining. There’s so much I want to say about this book, but I don’t want to give away any spoilers. I guess I can say that I saw where the book was going in terms of storyline earlier, so it was slightly predictable, but I definitely didn’t expect the ending. That took me by surprise and was an unexpected twist. My only complaint was that I wished the story flowed better. With some factors of the book, I found it a little difficult to concentrate so that took away part of the story. But all in all this was a great read! I definitely recommend it.

Apocalypse Nope by Deidre Huesmann is an interesting young adult story that includes several different fantasy creatures, as well as the seemingly normal Ivy-Jean.

Ivy doesn’t fit in; she’s different. When you have spiders for friends, it definitely sets you apart. As a teenager, everything is utter chaos and world ending. However, Ivy accidentally brings an apocalyptic terror to her world. At what price would you be willing to save the world? Would you be willing to risk your mother?

Every war has tough decisions and a price to pay. What will be worth it to our little heroine?

Sure as Hell is the 4th book in Naomi Valkyrie’s series Life is Hell. It should be read as part of the series, because all the characters overlap. To fully understand what each character is (as they are all paranormal) and their relationships (many overlapping relationships, 3 somes, etc). Also, the series is awesome, so really, you’d be doing yourself a favor by reading them all. I don’t normally read paranormal books, but I am hooked on this series.
This book focuses on Jaru and Lark. As with all books in the series, there is a bit of romance, as well as a bit of action and suspense. Because this book’s main character is an imp, and former contract companion (think call girl), and contains mixed relationships, it is for a more mature audience. I enjoyed getting to know Lark as more than a prankster fairy he has been in the previous books. I also enjoyed seeing Jaru grow up, so to speak, and learn to be his own person, outside of being a companion. Looking forward to the next book in the series

Lussuria by SJ Molloy

I enjoyed this novel by S.J. Molloy. The novel really touched onto some dark and intense topics. The subject of abuse and how recovering from it can be intense and take time. The story of Lucca and Lexi proves that out of darkness light can come. Lexi’s journey to discovering love was intense and full of many twists and turns. S.J. Molloy writes with passion, and I don’t think that her stories are for the faint of heart. It is an interesting read and I look forward to continuing the journey in future installments.

L’Amore by SJ Molloy

Once again SJ Molloy did not disappoint. The continued story of Lexi and Lucca continued on its journey exploring a dark and intense topic. Lexi and Lucca proved in this latest installment that finding love is possible but keeping the love takes a lot of work. The passion of the first novel continued in this one and I look forward to the future novels in this series. SJ Molloy is a good author and I really enjoy reading her books

Lucca’s Lust by SJ Molloy

The third installment of this series was also very good. I liked the fact that this one was seen from Lucca’s point of view for most of the book. Lucca and Lexi have to overcome a lot of obstacles as they try to make a life together. The subject matter is intense and very interesting. I look forward to reading more.

I like historic romances, and I love reading them. The etiquette, the dresses, the balls, the dances, and romance brewing between all this – it has a charm in it.
Jane Mayfield, already considered a old spinster, and is obliged to settle to an advantageous marriage to an older gentleman. But she is a romantic by heart and wants to marry for love. Her plain looks and sharp tongue do not help the already grim situation in any way.
In London, she is introduced to Alexander Gordan, Earl of Norwich, handsome, dashing and arrogant. She compares him to a peacock who can attract a harem of peahens. They do not make much of a first impression on each other, but fate lands them together in a less pleasant situation.
A mistaken identity gets them kidnapped and they develop a liking towards each other. They find a way to escape the kidnappers, but will the society spare them? How do they avoid the gossip and rumors which have already spread in the society? Will Alexander walk away from Jane or will they get their fairy tale romance together?
I really liked the plot and the lead characters. After a long time, a breezy romance, which is a good read.

Maggie is the first book in the Maggie Trilogy by Mya O’Malley. This is the first book I have listened to by Ms. O’Malley, but I will definitely be listening the rest of this trilogy because this first book really intrigued me. This book had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning, with all the twists and turns, I didn’t know where we would be going next. This story flowed and before I knew it I was at the end. The paranormal factors were fascinating. Naomi and Maggie are truly strong and unusual characters.  If you like a great ghost story with romance added in, this is the book for you. Can’t wait to read the rest of this series.

This is the first book I have listened to narrated by Emily Ember. She has a very distinct voice and at the beginning I wasn’t sure how If I would get used to it, but by the second chapter, she was really bringing those characters to life. I look forward to listening to more books narrated by Emily.

This is a fast paced story that kept me turning the pages wanting to know what was happening. The characters are amazing and unforgettable. There is danger around every corner. This book is about Dereck and Layla. Dereck has been assigned to a gentleman who gets into the trafficking ring. This is where Dereck meets Layla. Dereck and Layla find themselves in danger.. Southland Academy for Supernatural Youth by Sandra Tentler and Brooke Tentler is a paranormal academic novel. It has a comedic feature that makes it that more enjoyable.

When Vlad’s priceless family ring vanishes and Devlin discovers the culprit, the six friends plan to investigate the clues left behind. Meet Vlad, the world’s most popular vampire’s son, is prone to mishaps and has a strong aversion to blood. Devlin, the werewolf shifter who can’t seem to complete his transformation. Lily, the daughter of a venerable warlock, has a nervous stutter that causes spells to backfire on her. Amber, a ferret shifter with a new friend that isn’t quite as it seems. Along the way, Fiona, the quick-witted snow owl shifter, and Sakana, the black-tip shark shifter, help out. Lily’s new familiar, Sheba, a hairless cat with a sassy attitude, still seems to vanish at inopportune moments, adding to the mystery. Might her unexpected presence in Lily’s life be connected to the missing item?

This book is a very light read. It can be perfect for middle-grader students. It can be great for people with a young heart. I enjoyed every page of this book.

This is the first book in the Life Won’t Wait series. This is a Contemporary Romance novel and is 412 pages. This story follows Quinn. She is an actress that has actually found her love of music from an acting job she did. Tucker is country music singer who won a reality singing show five years ago. Now working on his second album, it is proving a little more difficult. Tucker hears Quinn audition at the record label, and he is stunned. Tucker offers to help Quinn spring her career in music as she is pretty overwhelmed with it all. Absolutely loved this book!
