THE DEVOTED FAN (21ST Century Courtesan Book 5) by Pamela DuMond writing as P. S. DuMond – Review by Jennifer Gordon

THE DEVOTED FANTHE DEVOTED FAN by Pamela DuMond
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was hooked from page one of this romantic suspense which is book five in the ‘21ST Century Courtesan’ series. I would personally recommend reading this series in order as the storyline continues throughout the series. The main character, Evelyn Berlinger is a 21st Century Courtesan who used to moonlight at Ma Maison. Evie is used to billionaires paying large amounts of money to be with her as she is Empathic. Evie is still mourning the loss of her husband, Wyatt who she loved and sadly couldn’t help. Following his death everything changed for Evie as Wyatt bequeathed his fortune to her. However, whilst Evie just wants to start a new life believing the worst is now behind her she soon learns that karma has other plans. The plot twists kept this story exciting and it’s filled with drama, suspense and romance, as Evie struggles with her feelings for her late husbands brother, Easton. I found this psychological thriller both enjoyable and engaging and the complex storyline and intriguing characters ensured that I could not put this book down.
