Carnival of Shadows (Black Water Magic Book 2) by Leslie Scott – Review by Heather Bass

Carnival of Shadows (Black Water Magic #2)Carnival of Shadows by Leslie Scott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have read a couple of books from this author and she always blows my mind. This is the second book of the black water magic series. You will have to read the first book to understand what is going on in the second book. This book starts off a little after where the first book ends. I was so excited when I got this book I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. I could not put this book down until the end. It only took me a little over a day to devour this addicting book.

Teagan is still trying to get over her grandmother’s death. She still can’t believe that she is gone. Teagan is shocked when she finds out that she has a new witch on her hands. She already has enough on her plate and now she has to teach a teen girl all the rules. Teagan feels a certain way when she hears that a circus is coming to town. She notices that this circus is not run by humans but they are demons. As the Swamp Witch she needs to find out why they are in her town. When Teagan finds out the real reason why they are here she needs her crew but are they with her or against her? Will Teagan be able to save her town or will it be too late?
