House in the Woods by Jessica Aiken-Hall – Review by Shelly Kittell

House in the WoodsHouse in the Woods by Jessica Aiken-Hall
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Haunting and disturbing tale of a young woman who learns that all is not as it seems. Molly has lived her life in a dysfunctional household with a father who’s a jerk, a mom suffering from dementia and she has a brother who is twice her age. She is stuck trying to keep things together. She sees a missing poster of a young woman, Lucy, who looks so much like her. There is mystery, drama, twists, crime, and so many other things that grab you from the first page that you just can’t put this book down once you start. This book is the type I love. The author grabs your attention with such well-written characters. The book feels like a case ripped from the headlines. The plot was so good with the action that kept flowing. There wasn’t a dull moment. Great book.
