Chased by Ms. Felicity Brandon was absolutely amazing, I have to say its one of my new favorite bad boy romances. Upon first reading Chased I didn’t realize it was a series and boy am I glad it is because I want more. Ms. Brandon’s characters bring her story to life as you furiously flip through the pages to see what happens next. This bad boy romance has everything a romance lover needs a girl who won’t bend to ever whim, a sexy bad boy, and twists and turns in every chapter. Felicity Brandon will definitely grab your attention in chapter one and leave you guessing until the very end. So if your looking for a bad boy romance to keep you on your toes then I highly recommend Chased by Felicity Brandon.

Blue Summer Part Two is the second book in the Blue Summer series by Everly Taylor. This paranormal fantasy is a short read that I couldn’t put down. This book begins wherebook one left off with Lillie captured by the evil sorcerer. She needs to escape and get back to the Zayed, where she finally feels like she has a home. This book is filled with action just like the first, and we learn more about the characters, which just makes me want more. I was really enchanted with how this book ends, but I hope that Ms. Taylor will continue to write about the Zayed people in future books. I recommend that you read part one before you dive into this book or you will not have all of the important backstory. These two books were a prefect start to my summer reading.

Lighting The Path Leaning into a Hopeful Future as a Special Needs Parent By Marcia Nathai-Balkissoon ☆☆☆☆☆ This may be one of books that help a parent with special needs children, not feel so lost and even answer some unasked questions. Full length and loaded with information for parents as well as siblings. I found this book to be very informative and only wish this came out when my sister was born. I hear quite a few children are lost in the process of parents who struggle with everyday challenges. But when you add injury or illnesses to the mix. All they knew goes right out the window. This is a Must Read!
Thank you Marcia Nathai-Balkissoon. You have put some great information out there for all to read. As a sibling to a special needs sister, I’d say this book is spot on. Wow, so much action! Tom Grant is back to showing us all just how much trouble he can get into in the 3rd book in this series, Motherland. I found this one to be more like the first book in how fast and thick the plot came, and ratcheted up with some steamy romance scenes. Isabella is back in action as well, reminding us she is as smart and deadly as she is sweet and beautiful. Great juxtaposition in her character, it makes for some interesting plot points. I also love me some smart heroines who can handle themselves and do what needs doing in a crisis. Great series, lovers of action, suspense, thriller, spy and even romance will be thrilled with the pace of this narrative. Keep it up Ms. Adair, this is some great writing.

Sarah might just be my favorite heroine by this author, she is strong, speaks her mind, and confident. I can’t wait to continue their story in Mountains Climbed – because who won’t want to climb James like a tree.

Blue Summer Part Two is definitely everything I had hoped it would be. Now, I hope it would go without saying that this being a part two you should read the first book before diving into this one, but to each their own. This is an interesting set of books that builds a whole new world that is set up for us in book one and we revisit in this installment with the same wonderful characters that we fell in love with. I love how Ms. Taylor has made this unique world for us to escape into so easily. Her writing style is so descriptive and flows so well that the reader is transported easily and feels as if they are walking alongside the characters. I am eager to see what else is available by her Everly Taylor and what will come next!

I absolutely fell in love with Wes and Eleanor from the start. I can definitely say it was a whirlwind from their first meeting. The intense feeling between the two will grip at your heart from the start. The way the author flowed in different side characters and their stories within the main just adds so much more to the story. You begin to feel the relationships Eleanor and Wes have yourself. This story packs a punch. Don’t go in just looking for romance. There is so much more and it is wonderful!! I could not put this book down! I believe this can be read as a stand alone but I definitely suggested starting from the first in the series. You won’t regret it!! It will keep you on your toes and keep you wanting more. I cannot wait till the next book!

This was a story that I really enjoyed. It is a captivating read that leaves you wanting more. I love the leading lady Vanessa. I love her determination to save her brother and her drive. She has been burnt by love in the past and is wearing the scars to prove it.
The 3 men we get introduced to in this story are very unique in their own right but they all have one thing in common. They see something special in Vanessa.
Grey is the Don of the underworld. He rules over the dead souls of people who have been bad in their life. He collects the souls and send them to be tortured forever. On his trip to renegotiate a contract he meets Vanessa. He doesn’t know why he’s drawn to her. Her soul is pure so definately not what he’s looking for but the pull won’t go away. Reaf has lived in the human world and has made his fortune there. He feels the attraction to Vanessa and is determined to prove that not all men are bad like her father.
And finally we have Aroz. He is an angel/cupid. But is he as angelic as he seems.
Vanessa finds her self in the middle of these brothers. All of them have different ideas about what and who she is and all of them have different reasons for being attracted to her but which one will be the right choice. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Scandalous and gripping!! Not only does this author write these fantastic characters so well that you can actually hear them talking, but she grabs you into this story and keeps you there! I LOVED this book! Poor Emily has had a rough go. Her mother dies, her father remarries, then her father dies, and he leaves her in the care of her gambling step-brother. Her stepbrother puts her up for grabs in a game of dice and he LOSES her to a stranger!! Her world is thrown upside down and she can’t quite catch her footing. Will she end up beaten down by an Earl (and his family!) who won her in a game? Will she find her way in this strange circumstance? Or will she end up dead, because her step-brother has basically sold her to pay off his wagers! Who really has the luck of those dice?! Read this historical romance to find out!!

I enjoyed this story. Mila and Dane are both great characters. All the families are filled with good characters. The book ends on a bit of a cliffhanger…so there are more books to come. I am enjoying this series and will keep reading to find out what happens next.

Turning Wheels: Satan’s Devils MC #1 By Manda Mellett
This is another great story by an exceptional author. I have loved every single book I have ever picked up by Manda Mellett and this one is no different. Sophie was just trying to help out her friend when she ended up hurt and on the wrong side of one man’s anger. That’s when the Satan’s Devils are asked to help protect her. Wraith sees something in Sophie that she can’t see in herself. This book is full of action, twists and turns, romance, friendship, healing and love. I could not put this book down until I read every last page, needing to know what was going to happen. This author has a way of pulling you into the story and making you feel a connection with these characters. I became invested in the characters and their story. I highly recommend this book. Definitely a five star read.

Motherland: A Tom Grant Novel by Samantha Adair is the third book in the Tom Grant series. This is such an exciting and fast paced book that I found had me on the edge of my seat. The author packed so much into this book and it felt like the pages were just turning themselves. It was full of twists and turns at every point and I really couldn’t have told you how I thought it was going to turn out. Every time I thought I had a grasp on the story the author would change direction. I thought this was a well written book that was gripping from start to finish. I would highly recommend this book and I cannot wait to read more.

I enjoyed listening to this military romance audiobook. This was a great book to listen to. The narrator made it fun and entertaining. They made the characters come to life with every word. They are connectable and truly made the story for me. What will happen when one night changes everything for Marcas and Sarena? When a target is placed on Sarena, will Marcas be able to save her before it’s too late? I enjoyed their growth and chemistry. This is a great audio and I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed this memoir. This is a story that is written with a lot of heart and emotions. The author’s use of details made the story feel as if I was right there with her. This is a story about Mary and how her life growing up wasn’t all that great but also how she overcame what she went through to have a better life. I felt a ton of emotion throughout this story and felt for Mary. This is a fast paced story that I read in one day. This is a great story which I highly recommend.

I enjoyed this fantasy story. This is a well written story about Tally and her Angel. She believes that having an angel with her things couldn’t go wrong. Until she realizes that it doesn’t seem to matter as she finds herself in danger and in a race against time. She took me on a fun, entertaining adventure where she will find courage and strength. She made such a great character. She is relatable and I really enjoyed what she brought to the story. The secondary characters are just as fun and entertaining. They brought the story to life and took me on a fun adventure. This is a great fantasy story that I am happy I picked up. I highly recommend this book.

Grey comes to the human realm to renegotiate a contract…and is immediately intrigued by Vanessa. Although she is distracting, in a good way, he needs to stay focused on his task. Vanessa has also caught the attention of a couple of other people. First is Grey’s half-brother, Raef. Raef wants to help Vanessa in her battle to save her brother…and keep her out of Grey’s clutches. Another person who has their eye on Vanessa is Aroz’s mother…the goddess of beauty. She wants Vanessa out of the picture…and sends Aroz to make it happen as only he can.
There are so many things going on in this story and they all come to a head at the end of the book. Spoiler alert…it ends in a bit of a cliffhanger. I am looking forward to reading the next book to see what happens next. I really found myself wrapped up in each of the characters and their individual storylines that are all connected in a way…just not quite sure of how yet.
Overall, an interesting story that is different from what I usually read…but such a good story!

The passion in this book was over the top. The author Phoebe Alexander has the unique talent of drawing you into each character she creates. The characters have such depth, you feel like you know them personally and could reach out and touch them. Sarah and James are two kindred hearts entwined in a soulful love story. This book will make you laugh, swoon, cry, and get angry. You might even yell at your book. I felt the gambit of strong emotions. I went on a journey with Sarah and James I did not expect. Love comes in so many different shapes and styles. Book 2 is a must!!!!!

I love this author she never disappoints, this can be read as a stand alone but is part of the moonlit series. Set in Italy with a great tale of romance. I felt like i was in Venice there is so much suspense in this story i could not put it down i needed to know what happened next. Sergio and Gianna have great chemistry and are written so well.

Turning Wheels is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC series by Manda Mellett. I first discovered Manda Mellett at the end of the Satan’s Devils series and have read all the other spin-offs that have come from it but although I’ve owned the box sets for a while still hadn’t gone back to see how it all began. Now I’ve finally gone back to the beginning to see what I missed and I’m cursing myself for not doing it sooner. I absolutely loved Sophie and Wraith’s story. Having read sone of the spin-offs where Wraith and Sophie are older I had to keep reminding myself that they are much younger in this story. Manda Mellett blows me away every time I read one of her books. The characters are so well written and we get to see deep inside the heads of out characters and in this book I could have cried for Sophie so many times. She’s had a very tough time of it and my heart just melts for how Wraith (and most of the other guys in the MC) take this English woman to their hearts. I have to say that I also laughed so much when she was teaching them some British sayings. As a Brit, I just take these sayings for granted and don’t realise how strange they are to others. Manda Mellett is not shy to tackling a difficult issue and in this book Sophie is in a wheelchair and feels like she’s not a real woman anymore. Why would anyone want a cripple like her. I love how Manda Mellett treated this storyline and made Sophie feel sexy and desirable again. I now need to get on with reading the others in this series that I’ve missed. 100% recommend this book and anything written by Manda Mellett. I just can’t praise her enough.

Travels Through Aqua, Green, and Blue is the emotive debut novel by Mary E. Gregory. It is an inspiring memoir that chronicles her young life of upheaval, tension, trauma, adventure, family relationships, dysfunctional family dynamics, secrets, humorous anecdotes, and overcoming adversity. The author shares her memories, which read almost like journal entries. She has a lyrical and poetic style to her writing – if not a little wordy and drawn out in places. Mary has been thorough a lot in her life- overcoming situations that would defeat many others. Her story is interesting and moving- many events made my heart ache for what she went through. I applaud the author for sharing her inspiring story- it is apparent that she poured a lot of heart and soul into her work. I really do think this would make a great movie.

I jumped into this book not knowing what I might find but wow – what a ride. I really enjoyed the fast pace and characters development. Lots to enjoy. If you love a good paranormal romance with lots of plot movement, immediately pick this up. Now I’m headed back to pick up the rest of the series. So good!
Terrifying Love: A Halloween Anthology is a collection of 7 stories and additional poems by 8 talented authors. With plenty to choose from- there’s romance, suspense, the supernatural, paranormal, fantasy, Halloween themes, some horror, emotion, and lots more. If you love stories that keep you on the edge of your seat, with enough thrills and chills to keep you hooked, then this is an anthology you will want to add to your reading list. I read quite a lot of anthologies as I love the diversity that can be found within these collections. And this certainly fits the bill, as it has a great mix of storylines, all with their own originality, and assortment of interesting characters. I thought I would just read one story a night, before bed, until I had finished the book- but I got so caught up with it that I ended up reading the whole thing in one sitting #sleepisoverrated.

Ok I am not sure how I haven’t picked up this author’s work before but it is absolutely going on my one click list. I jumped head first into the story and even though this wasn’t the first in the series I didn’t feel at a loss in the story or character development. The author does a fantastic job gripping the reader and pulling you right in. I loved this book and look forward to reading more in the series. Highly recommend.

Taylor is really done an interesting approach with an underlying story that harkens back to my childhood. This book and its series predecessor definitely were imaginative and took me down a path I was unprepared for. I found the plot to move well and appreciated the conflict that lay underneath everything. It was well written and interesting and I look forward to seeing what the author writes next.

Secure Decision is the fifth instalment in the Chase Security series by R.L Dunn. This is a wonderful addition to the series- another romantic suspense, with drama, danger, emotion, sizzle, angst, trauma, (possible) triggers, family, friendship, secrets, suspense, intrigue, missing women, a body count, veterans, equine therapy, and elite operatives. Wes has just returned from a difficult mission, the events of which he has yet to fully process. He won’t get a chance regroup and recover from that ordeal as an important assignment has him back in the swing of things overseeing this latest mission. But when a body is discovered- things take a dramatic turn. Although this could be read as a standalone, I really recommend reading the previous books before diving into this one, as the other books will help lay foundations (with important information, overlapping details, and character introductions) that will enhance your reading experience of this book. As expected from Ms. Dunn, the story is really well developed- with fantastic characters, gripping scenes, and all the palpable tension and suspense that I have come to expect from her work. #mustread

This story is different than other paranormals I have read. I loved that about it. It really kept me on my toes not knowing who or what was going to happen next. We get to meet all three gods (well one demigod) but learn the most about Grey. I just never knew where she stood with him. He likes her but from afar. He stays focused on business. He protects her from everyone but himself. Then there is Raef aka the gentleman. Thats truly what he seems to be. We get to know that side of him but I am sure there is another we haven’t seen yet. Then there is a few brief encounters with Aroz. I don’t have enough to form an opinion yet but it seems he doesn’t do much without his momma’s direction.
Overall this is a great eye catching story. It didn’t disappoint and kept me curious throughout. Wondering…always wondering. Will she? Won’t she? And now what happens next? While this does end with everything up in the air. The back of the book does have a few chapters into book 2. Which literally continues where this book leaves off. I cant wait to dive in!

Tally and the Angel: Book One India is a fun Middle school age children’s story by Eleanor Dixon. This is a wonderful paranormal fantasy, with adventure, mystery, danger, drama, a race against time, bravery, and more. Tally inherits a necklace that holds a wonderful secret. The necklace is home to an Angel- and you guessed it- adventure awaits. When Tally discovers that children are being stolen, she feels she needs to do something about it. And so the adventure begins. She and her angel guide, Jophiel, find themselves pitted against the ‘bad guys’ in a race against time in order to save the day. I couldn’t help but become invested in the outcome and was rooting for her the whole way through. This story may be aimed at a younger audience, but it is so charming that I feel it could be enjoyed by all ages!

A great story with a brave main character! Tally is an adventurous almost 13 year old who is given a special gift from her mother. This gift contains an angel who stays with her at all times. Together they go on adventures while Tally travels with her father. I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. Tally and her angel go on an epic adventure that kept me engaged and eager to find out more.

In His Kiss by Ava Alise a fab four-star read. This is number one in the Unrequited series, and I am eager for more, this has everything it needs to be brilliant, angst, passion, drama, heart wringing emotions, friends to lovers. It just didn’t have characters I loved all the way through. There is lots going on with this story, and different story lines, but its easy to keep them clear as you read. Xia and Jordan will have your emotions running all over. Number two can’t come soon enough for me, as once I got to know everyone well, and started to really like them, I couldn’t wait for more.

Conceal and Protect…the code of ethics every Kind lives by. A young boy lives the adventure of a lifetime however not by his choice. Kidnapped and taken from the life he once knew; Andy must now decide who he is and what he stands for. Who is telling the truth and who is using him for his abilities for tier own personal gain? What a great little YA adventure book. The characters are very relatable, and I became so deeply immersed in the story. Watching Andy come into his own, the struggle with who and what he is, and the sacrifices he makes are truly an inspiration. I never thought that a story could guide me on the path to choose who I am and to encourage me to stay true to my personal beliefs and essence of what makes me who I am today. This book really helps us to believe in ourselves and shows how to follow our true self. I was pleasantly surprised at the story and how it unfolded with so many twists and turns. Just know that you are in for a great little adventure once you pick up this book. Entertaining, thought provoking, and FUN! What else could a person ask for in a book. Easy read for YA readers and a good lesson to stay true to oneself. I highly recommend this book for all who want a great read and adventure. Get lost in the world of the Kind!
