Wow! What a great, dark and twisted book! I have to admit that the beginning was a little slow and tough for me to get through. But after reading the remainder of the book, I believe that it is crucial information needed for the rest of the book. Once the author hooked me in, I could not put this book down!

Troy lives at home with an abusive father. He stays because he wants to protect his mother from his father. He works at a diner as a night manager. And in his already chaotic life, he has this stalker ex-girlfriend (Veronica) who is determined to get him back through lies and deceit. Troy is frustrated and decides to plan his revenge on all those who are out for him. How will he do it? And will it work?

The author, Glenn Maynard, dives into some topics that are definitely tough to read about. And he does it so well. I am sure that this could be hard for some people to read. I absolutely love it when authors decide to write on topics that most people cannot even talk about in a fashionable way. Glenn brings you into these topics by way of his wonderful written characters. And he does it so gracefully and brashly. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end!
