Hawke ( Men of Syn Duet) by Anise Storm- Review by Lauren West

Hawke (Men of Syn, #1)Hawke by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book in the series and it truly sets the bar! A perfect late night read with characters that will enrapture you from start to finish. This is my first read by Anise Storm and she completely brought the passion, suspense, frustration, and intensity at full force. Hawke is a fiercely dominant Alpha male with a shattered past whose demons haunt his everyday life. He can be viewed as cold, arrogant, and indifferent with anger always on the surface. A past experience with Charlotte has left him never able to forget her, and her unable to forget the humiliation she encountered with him.
When we meet the characters present day Charlotte is a beautiful, intelligent, headstrong, and outspoken event planner/business owner at the height of her career. Hired for an event at Hawkes new BDSM club Syn they must work together pasts aside. The chemistry from the start is intense and undeniable. Hawke fights the pull and continues to be indifferent at every turn not wanting to bring her innocence to his dark world. Charlotte ever persistent gives chase and never gives up her desire and and want for Hawke. In the bedroom their chemistry is intense, erotic, and will leave you breathless. This story has many twists and turns mixed with emotional appeal to pull at your heart strings. Charlotte and Hawke is a must read!
