After losing her mother at a young age, Claire Sanchez is haunted by dreams and visions pulling her towards a destiny she’s scared to want. Descended from the powerful medicine women of the land of Aztlan, Claire is content to help her patients in the hospital in any way she can. When an old family friend ends up dead, the mystery surrounding her mothers death, and the mysteries surrounding the church, The Ecclesia Dei, will start to unravel.
This book was awesome! Really well done! I enjoy reading about the dark side of religion, I find it fascinating. I got everything I wanted out of this book! Relatable characters, enthralling story, complete anxiety, and shock factor. I couldn’t finish this book fast enough. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for something gripping that will keep you up all night!
