Wild Hare’s Daughter by Laura Koerber is an interesting and original dystopian story with magical realism, a near future setting, politics, crime, secrets, fairies, tension, imagination, and intriguing characters- all playing out in a small town setting.
Even though this could be read as a standalone, I really wish I had read Wild Hare first before starting this book, as I feel that knowing what happened there would have enhanced my reading experience of this book even more. So, I plan to dive into Wild Hare to remedy that oversight asap.

Thank you, Laura Koerber!
