This was a quick 4 star read. This novella has me looking forward to the next book in the series.

Dr. D is a pediatrician who is great with his patients and a very sweet man. He has some personal family things that he is dealing with. Emily is a nurse with a big heart, who doesn’t really have time for dating. When these two meet at a bar while out with co-workers there is an instant connection. Can these two make things work? Will they get a HEA?

We get some very hot and steamy moments. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right into the story, although I would have liked to see the ending not so rushed.
