Tia is running from her past, a relationship gone bad. Her goals are 1. Stay away from men, cops especially. 2. Stay in hiding and don’t attract attention from those around you. Tia is also a Reiko instructor in Boston, she is independent and strong willed. But in the back of her mind is her ex-boyfriend and two of his cop friends who are stalking her. She has to run as long as Dane is after her. Theo is a detective who is in recovery from an on duty injury. Theo sees Tia right after she gets a text that frightens her. When she drops her phone, Theo picks it up and hands it to her. He is instantly attracted to her. Can these two people let down their guard long enough to trust each other? No Spoilers!
This story is fast paced and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I instantly fell in love with Tia and Theo. Theo knows something is wrong and feels he must protect Tia. So sentimental! While this book can be a stand alone. I think this is one series I can’t wait to continue. This is also a new author for me. So I must find more treasures from her and read on.
