Right from the get go, the Journeys through books took you on a whirlwind of a journey. Multiple point of views, and multiple points across space and time were initially confusing, but it all came together in the end. There are twists and turns that make the story not only intriguing, but unpredictable. Sci-fi isn’t normally my thing, but this story definitely held my attention from beginning to end. The characters were sometimes a bit black and white. The good characters were always good, the bad characters always bad. I would have liked to see a little more grey, but that definitely did not stop me from enjoying the series from the start. If you are thinking about giving this book a shot, I would definitely recommend it.

Tess Burton is always up for an adventure. She’s risked her inheritance to open Divine Vintage, a clothing boutique. While modeling an elegant gown from an Edwardian-era trousseau, her mind is opened to a century-old murder. Visions–seen through the eyes of the murdered bride–dispute local lore that claims the bridegroom committed the crime. Trey Dunmore doesn’t share Tess’ enthusiasm for mind-blowing visions, yet the appeal to clear his family’s tainted legacy compels him to join her in exploring the past. Aided by the dead woman’s clothing and diary, Tess and Trey discover that pursuing love in 1913 was just as thorny as modern-day. As the list of murder suspects grows, the couple fears past emotions are influencing, and may ultimately derail, their own blossoming intimacy.

This book was a quick, easy read! Marianne Rice had me laughing, crying, and everything in between! The interactions between the two main characters, Gina and Bryce, are awkward, humorous, witty, and often electrically charged. A Hundred Wishes combines a picturesque setting with great, realistic characters and an excellent story. This is the only book I have read from the Band of Sisters series, but did not need the other books to follow along. The ending of the book makes me want to read more though! I can’t wait to read more from Marianne Rice.

This is my first book by this author/series, and I wasn’t disappointed. I love MC books and would recommend this book. I will definitely be going back to read the rest of this series. I was sucked into the story from the beginning and was hooked all the way through. This book had action, great character chemistry, romance, mixed in with a few twists and turns. If you like MC books, then this is the book for you.

I love love love this book! Gina and Bryce don’t quite get off to a good start, mostly because of Gina. She is afraid to open up to someone, she has confidence issues and so much more. She is a strong woman who holds her own and makes a wonderful female lead. There’s not many books that have a strong and able to handle herself heroine. This book has you relating to the emotions and rooting for the romance. I loved it.
What an amazing series! I am writing this as I finish reading the third book in the series, but I have been hooked since the very beginning! The author has woven a wonderful tale of adventure, through his writing I was able to picture myself right along with the characters from the very first page to where I currently am at in the third book. I’ve already read through the first two books twice as I wanted a refresher prior to reading the third one, and I was just as impressed with them the second time around!
As a new author, it was astonishing to me that he wove such intricate stories for all of the main characters in the first book then slowly merge them into one by the third book. There were definitely times during my first read through that I was confused by all the storylines, but by the end of the second one on my second read through I was not.
Despite my initial concerns of the book being too much for me to follow, similar to Game of Thrones, I am so happy I ended up reading this series! It has renewed my love for SciFi, whether it be a book, television show, or movie, I have and will continue to watch and read more of this genre in the future!

This is science fiction/fantasy at its finest. In the beginning of this series, we are introduced to multiple characters, each from their own world. The description of all of these different worlds is incredible. Each and every one is so beautifully detailed. The character themselves are very well described and this combination of world and character detail makes you feel like you are right there with them. Throughout the books, the characters grow and learn. This is ideal in a series.
Really, it is like reading multiple stories, all wrapped up in one incredible book. We are taken back and forth between worlds and characters, but it is not confusing at all. If you are a fan of epic science fiction/fantasy stories, this box set is definitely for you.

This author is the QUEEN of dark, gritty, and intense MC romance. If violence or drug use are triggers for you, you might want to steer clear. Otherwise, don’t overlook this book! I love the strong female character and how she doesn’t let life keep her down. It reminds me of the quote, “Use your pain as fuel to make you stronger”. This is one tough chick that withstands more than anyone should have to in life, but still comes out the other side stronger. Great read!

I’ve never read a book like this. The love story is unexpected, the plot twists are unpredictable, and the characters are undeniable. If you are planning on reading this book, be prepared for intense scenes, turns you aren’t ready for, and truths you can’t help but cry about. The main characters are very relatable, yet intangible at the same time. The book has a happy ending, so know you are working towards positivity.

You get pulled right in and get to know all of the different characters. We get different worlds and timelines as well. It took a little bit of time for me to get to know everyone and what was going on, the more I got into the story the more I liked it. Each of the characters are connected in one way, they have a voice that speaks to them and they are each facing some dangerous issues in their worlds. I almost felt like I was reading multiple stories in one book.
There is so much going on again with all of the characters. James pulls you right in with his writing and detail, you feel like you’re right there with them.
We have a race against time to find two seperate treasures. . The reptilians are searching for something to help with their new weapon. And Matt, Dan and Julie are trying to learn skills that focus around having a united front.
Overall, this boxset will have you on the edge of your seat with all the twists and turns If you like action packed reads with great characters this is the series for you. I suggest reading somewhere where you can stay focused with no interruptions because there is so much happening. 1-click and find out for yourself who will be successful in their hunt. 1-click and get started with this great boxset today.

A must read! I am normally not a fan of sci-fi fantasy novels, but the Journeys Set takes you into a multiverse that really brings you to a place of wanting every complex drop of knowledge you can wring from the story. The first little bit of the first book can be confusing (I actually read it twice) but is full of very important details that you need to really be cognizant of space time dimensions and the silky threads that bind it together. If you are reading the series and feel like giving up I urge you to keep reading. The author really brings all these seemingly unrelated events to fruition. I thoroughly enjoyed the complexity of the inter dimensional threads that combined the characters. The author takes you to places in such detail that you can actually see, feel and smell what he is describing. I absolutely love the details in this book. To me there is nothing better than an author who can create a picture so clear in your mind you can swear you have been there and This author does exactly that! I also find the parallels between our world and the universes that have been created particularly fascinating. Believe me this series is a hidden gem. What a masterful multiverse the author has created!!! This story will take you further through time travel than ever before. Absolutely an amazing read!! Don’t miss out, grab this series as a set because you won’t want to put it down once you get started!!

I have said it before and will say it again, I love boxsets. This is a fabulous series to get in that form because you are getting an enormous amount of story and adventure and more for such and amazing value that it almost feels like a disadvantage to the amazing author. You can always tell with these books how much time and effort went into them with the imagination and fervor that is in the worldbuilding of the novels. They are just amazing and each one is a new adventure that will have you hanging on the edge of your seat as you navigate topics I am sure most wouldn’t even imagine could be so amazing and beautiful as well as fascinating. I am going to include the reviews of each of the first two books for now. I am not done with the third as it just released and just can’t give that to you yet until I do but I will be back to add to this when I do!
Journeys Through SpaceTime: Book One Journeys Through SpaceTime by James Talisman is his debut novel and it is a doozy. This book is not one that I would normally pick up because I tend to get extremely overwhelmed with multiverse story lines. Now, I must say this book had its confusing times where I found myself rereading sometimes three times to finally sort it all out, but I felt like this book was worth it. That is where the key to a great book lays for me. He has managed to build up these beautiful and vibrant worlds so that you feel as if you are traversing space right along with the characters. I enjoyed the amount of effort and time that was so apparent while reading, that was put into this novel to make it all that it is. This book also incorporates a lot of different characters as well as the worlds so be prepared to take a deep breath and dedicate the time to this novel to get the maximum enjoyment out of it. I read it over holiday break so I feel like maybe I will need a reread when the tiny terrorists return to school lol. I will definitely be around for a book two to see what will come next.
Journeys Through TimeSpace: Book Two Ok so I do not read multiverse or sci-fi books, like ever, but the first one in this series of Journeys Through from James Talisman kept me hooked completely from beginning to end and I am so excited that the second one lived up to the same standards and hype. Talisman has a knack for writing some vivid scenes that will literally take you away through the vast ‘multiverse’ and make you fall in love with the characters along the journey. I love how this is not an original idea per say amongst the sci-fi world, it is completely written in a way that it is fresh and very original. I can’t honestly say I have ever read other books like this or enjoyed them.
I know this is said to be able to be read as a stand alone novel but I would HIGHLY recommend that you start with the first book, Journeys through SpaceTime. You will not be disappointed that you had the chance to experience the universe that Talisman has created in these novels. I am very excited to see what the next book will hold and what characters and worlds we will get to visit in that one.

A box set is such a great thing, there is no waiting for the next book when you finish one. This is a great set of books. These books have taken me on an adventure of great world building, complex storylines, a large array of characters and so much more. Each book in this series got better and better. This author writes with such great detail that you get pulled right into these Sci fi books. The complexity of these stories are definitely thought provoking and they are books that you can read multiple times and find things you may have missed the first time. I found these stories to be original and hard to put down. These are definitely a must read!

This is an engaging, realistic, and well-written novel. When the novel opens, Rourke is in Grade 7, starting middle school, and is hoping for a fun year with friends, enjoying sports, and maybe making some new friends. His older brother Carson has autism and his parents have decided to reintegrate him into public school. And not just any school – Rourke’s school. Carson struggles a bit to fit in, and unfortunately causes more than one incident that embarrasses Rourke. Rourke loves his brother, but is sometimes caught between defending him and making the friendships he hopes to have. He feels a sense of responsibility for Carson, and so he worries a lot about how to best protect him.
I thought this book tackled a really interesting theme. Though Rourke is only 13, he spends a lot of time worrying about his vulnerable brother, while also having all the same challenges that middle schoolers face. He tries hard to make the best decisions for both of them, and his anxiety over Carson bleeds into all areas of his life. Learning how to manage competing demands with grace and loyalty is lesson that is universal. The story is nuanced and realistic, and very well thought out.

Is there a third book?! Cliff hanger!!! I am so captivated by Arabella’s story, I need to know what happens next! The trip to Ireland is not what I expected to happen, it was so much better. The storyline touches your heart when the witches see the conditions of the field workers’ families, you really feel for them. But now Arabella’s life may be in danger and you become so connected you have to know what will happen! Very good series so far, I hope there is much more to come.

Each book just gets better and I keep finding myself like each one more than the last. The characters are complex and well written so easy to imagine them all. The storyline definitely plays out in front of your eyes so easily, you can tell the amount of details the author put in. If you’re in the need of a read that’s just a bit different than what’s out there already I highly recommend this set of books. Excited to see where this author takes readers next. Four stars!

Book1 Journeys Through SpaceTime (Journeys Through Book 1) is the first installment to this Sci/Fi/ fantasy story. Mr. Talisman gives us a complex and detailed story with lots of characters to keep track of. This story has everything that a reader could ask for including action, hidden agendas, politics, adventure, and danger. There’s so much in this story that you find yourself flipping the pages eagerly to find out what happens next. Since this is the first installment to this series there are a lot of suspenseful moments, some of which get tied up in pretty bows and others that are left unsolved, leaving his readers to anticipate book two. But if your looking for an exciting Sci/Fi/fantasy book to read this weekend then I highly recommend Journeys Through SpaceTime (Journeys Through Book 1) by James Talisman.
Book2 James Talisman does it again! Journeys Through TimeSpace was even more amazing then Mr. Talisman’s first book, he really knows how to deliver a plot that hooks us from the beginning and characters so fantastic that you can’t put his books down. While this book includes time travel, danger and more, Mr. Talisman has a way of writing that makes you feel like you are right there with his characters. Mr. Talisman has a very vivid imagination and he gives his characters lots of plots and agendas, the question is will his characters succeed? You will have to read Journeys Through TimeSpace to find out.
Book 3
While this is the third installment in the series it definitely didn’t disappoint. Once again we’re taken on a wild fantasy/sci-fi adventure. Several of my favorite characters make a reappearance in this third installment, and several new characters that just pull the story together and give us a fantastic adventure. Personally I really recommend reading the previous two books in this series, while you technically don’t have too it is highly beneficial for reacquaint characters, plot lines, and backstory. This story is so well thought out, full of complex characters, multiple layers of detail, and an adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This story was so great I can’t wait to see what our author gives us next.

Arabella discovering her powers and accepting them so quickly but having to convince those around her that her powers are good. I loved the different writing style on this story vs. most other witch stories that focus more on how society treats them rather than their own community and the development of skills. Rowena is my favorite sister, accepting and protecting Arabella at all times. Elizabeth seems to have a back story deeper than what the book leads on. Very well written, can’t wait to read the second book!

A very engaging romance between an seraph come to earth and an entrepreneur in New Hampshire with an affinity for the moon and her goddess. When Dae moves in next door to Cathy as a cover for fighting deadly demons, the sparks sizzle immediately upon them meeting. Despite their instant attraction, there is much that Cathy doesn’t know about about Dae. Would she believe him if he told her he was an immortal angel sent to earth to battle evil? Or would she think him crazy and run away?
The connection between these two was irresistible and engaging. I had a bit of trouble connecting to the story in the beginning, but once the relationship started to develop, I was hooked. There are some steamy sections that definitely hit their mark. Tika is a fun character that added some levity and humour to the story. A good read!

I never thought that someone could depict all of the emotions and anxiety that someone experiences in middle school, but our author has definitely captured all of those emotions perfectly. The characters are endearing, the plot intriguing, and the tension and anxiety almost feel real. This story is full of friendship, sibling love, acceptance and so much more I simply couldn’t put it down. This book was so good that not only does it show all of the anxiety and angst of teenage drama, but also shows us the assurance that everyone has challenges. So if your looking for a good emotional book with a fantastic ending then pick up this one today.

Things always warm up quickly when a firefighter or an arson investigator are involved!! Bryce loves his work, so much that he often times becomes consumed by it. He’s used to seeing some pretty traumatic things as a result of fires but often doesn’t give them a second thought.
Gina, or as her friends like to call her, “Fish”, has seen some pretty traumatic things in life too. After all, she did a stent in the service and has the wounds to show it. Since returning to civilian life, Fish enjoys her online teaching job, as well as sewing and craftwork. She finds a lot of purpose in her work and is doing all she can to get on her feet and be the best she can be.
When Fish and Bryce meet up, the fireworks aren’t on display right away but hold on to your seat…they will come quicker than you might expect!!
I loved the character of Gina as she reminds me a little bit of myself. I am a crafter and love teaching children as well. Gina loves doing craft shows every weekend and having new items to display. Her house is covered in supplies and creations. I can identify with her!
This was a fun and rather quick read for me by a new-to-me author! I understand that this book is part of a series but I didn’t feel like I was missing information by not reading the books that came before it. I do plan on reading the other books to learn the back stories of Gina’s friends, who she calls her sisters.

Love a second chance romance!! Levi and Brynn meet years later after dating, and that flame is still burning. This was a sweet and hilarious read! If you want to relax and read a good feeling story, this is it. I’m not a big sports person, but I actually enjoy a good sports read. Great fun characters and great romance!!

This book was such a fun sweet story! It’s a very quick read and a welcomed escape from life. Noah must find a bride or lose his home, Mary must find a way to get out of Angel’s Pass or lose her life. They both agree to marry without even meeting each other. It was a very sweet story and I can’t wait to read more stories by this author!
