This is a nice story but I didn’t love it. I struggled getting into the characters which makes it hard to care about them. The story seems to lose pace then pick back up. Many times there was pages/paragraphs of “should I or Shouldn’t I?” About a subject that has already been covered. It makes the story not flow very well.

The suspense is good and tricky. The characters are straight forward and quick to move forward. Theo seemed like a wonderful guy. Wanting whats best for Tia. Tia was a struggle. I liked that she is taking steps to making herself stronger.

Overall this is an okay read

Wow, each book in this series just keeps getting better and better! This author has a way about writing that just keeps you hooked, wanting more to read! My favorite thing about these books is that as you read them in order, it all ties together with one another and keeps you on your toes. Stefano and Emilliana are the focus, and we get to read their love story from beginning to the end. Both characters go through numerous challenges and trials that just make their character that much more lovable. You will not be disappointed in this book! I cannot wait to start reading the next book and see which characters are the main focal point and where the story goes.

This is the first book in this series, and it can be read as a standalone. It is well written and flows nicely. This is Sophia and Theo’s story, and what a beautiful story it is! Sophia was previously in an abusive relationship and is now hiding out under a new identity. Theo (who is a cop) was recently shot, so he’s doing desk work and taking time to heal. When they meet you can practically see the sparks fly off the page! Then Sophia’s ex come to try her back and things get ugly.

This is the fourth book to the Mafia Elite series. It can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the the other books in the series first to get the full story. I absolutely love this whole series! I don’t know how the author does it, but the books just keep getting better and better. This is Elena and Marco’s story. Elena went into hiding to protect herself and her family because the Bratva is after her. Marco believed that Elena died years ago and when he finds out she’s alive he hunts her down. They have always had a connection, but they also have issues that they get need to resolve, and the Bratva to deal with, in order to be together.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew me away on her storytelling. This is the second book from the clockwork chronicles. I read this book as a stand alone but now I need to read the first book to get the story better. I was hooked on that story right away and I could not put it down. It only took me a little over a day to devour this addictive story.

Arabella Layden was not loved by her family. They treated her like a burden instead. She is so excited when the time has come when she could go on her own. Arabella leaves her home to chase her dream of becoming a witch. She is shocked when she gets her wish but not in the normal way. Arabella is now assigned to find out why the famine is sweeping through Ireland. She needs to be very careful because this assignment has already claimed two other witches. Will Arabella be able to figure out the problem or will it be too dangerous for her?

This was a really good read! Just with the prologue I was instantly transported into this world and sucked into the novel. I was right there with the characters and it was just awesome. This happens quite a bit with this authors work and each book (so far) hasn’t been a disappointment! This one had twist and turns and monsters and everything you could want out of a paranormal/fantasy crime book! I loved this installment and absolutely can’t wait to read the next one either!

I would recommend this to a friend that likes Fantasy/Paranormal books!

The Author gives us a romance story of early marriage obstacles, challenges and overcoming hard times individually and together as a couple.

Follow Cade and Lecia through the emotional rollercoaster as newlyweds and as new parents. The Author will have you feeling every bit of emotion with them as they face love, hardship, sacrifice, loss and forgiveness.

This book is a fast paced read, but also very smooth flowing. Such a beautiful love story filled with lovable characters, who have relatable struggles and at times, unpredictable fears around starting a family. Strong family bonds is the foundation of this saga.

This is my first read by this author and
I look forward to reading the next books in this saga. I think I’m going to want these books on my shelf!

The Author gives us yet another twist and a fast paced engaging read. Deep rooted family bonds and trust are the foundations to this saga as we follow our characters on their journey of love, passion, betrayal and suspense.

Can be read as a stand-alone but highly recommend reading this saga in order, especially the last two books where Miles and Bella’s story begins.

This book is even better than the last, I definitely want physical copies of this whole saga on my shelf!!

The Author continues to give a fast paced engaging read as we follow the constant turmoil of the unexpected things in life and the fears of being newlyweds and starting a family. Love, passion, drama, fear and insecurities make this a true romance novel.

We are introduced to a whole new family of characters to learn about and love. The basis of strong family bonds is still the foundation to these books, but Miles and Bella grow new foundations of trust and vulnerability.

I recommend reading these books in their intended order, so you have a full appreciation of where the characters are now in their lives.

The Author has really hit their stride with these last two books, I could not put it down! I dare to say I love Bella and Miles more!! I am looking forward to the next in this saga.

We are given a new plot in this saga as we follow the life of Cade and Lecia’s son Miles, who is now an adult and is in the spotlight of fame and money.

We are introduced to new characters that yet again bring more out of the storyline. The Author gives us another fast paced adventure that is still based on the foundation of strong family ties.

The Author writes so vividly and really gives you an idea of the struggles that can come with fame and money. We are taken on a thrilling, suspenseful and steamy romance of a ride, while our characters learn what it means to earn and have someone’s trust.

This book can be read as a stand alone but you will enjoy it better if you have read the first two books, this is my favourite book in the saga so far!

Even though there has been a some passing of time it smoothly picks up where the previous book ends. I recommend reading the first book to have a full experience of the characters growth.

The Author gives us another fast paced read and introduces a new twist to the captivating storyline. I couldn’t read this book fast enough! Page turning suspense with romance, hardships, tough lessons and forgiveness.

I am again looking forward to the next books in this saga!

Gina and Bryce meet under a situation that I think many women would feel odd about. As someone who is insecure a bit about herself at times, I totally related to Gina and some of her assumptions. I can also understand some of Gina’s reluctance to share about her experience of being wounded while serving her country. But with any great love story, taking the time to listen and communicate helps Gina and Bryce really connect.
I really enjoyed reading about Gina and Bryce. I’m sure I will be reading the other books in this series soon.

This is a fantastic paranormal story with a page-turning plot, compelling characters, and complicated mystery. Adrijana longs to get away from her provincial verbena farm and live in the city with the interesting and colourful characters that reside there. She finally gets her wish, and the adventure is much more than she bargained for. A murderer is on the loose, one who has a very particular set of powers – and a small list of possible suspects. But there is more going on than most people are aware. Will the murderer be revealed before the body count gets too high?
Adrijana is an awesome heroine – brave, intelligent and lacking in the hubris that many of those who live at court embody. The friendships she makes with Simeon, Georgi and Nevena help her to survive the cunning of shadowy forces. Each of them are interesting in their own right, very well-developed characters. Dragan was my favourite – his true nature is so elusive and it was great fun trying to keep up. A must read for fantasy and YA lovers!

The flashbacks our FMC has to past trauma made her feel realistic and relatable and her HEA is hot! His guilt and concern make you feel for him while at the same time makes you want to shake him! Loved this book as much as the first! Onto the third!!

A Hundred Wishes had me running through all sorts of emotions as I read. Happy, sad, frustrated, loved, relatable, ect. I enjoyed it as a whole though!
Gina, a homemaker/retired military with a deep secret. Her circle of friends(sisters) know because they were there together, but not the new man who entered her life.
Bryce, a fire inspector who squirms at the site of injuries and scars of injuries, doesn’t know his new person of interest has a deep secret involving just that.
The growth between Gina and Bryce is slow and frustrating because they suck at communicating with one another. They both need to overcome their fears if they intend on making it work. Individually I feel the character growth was definitely a lot better. They need to figure out how to translate that growth to their relationship.
Do they overcome their fears or do they let go of each other? Despite how happy they make one another.
A book in a series that I personally need to go back and read the first 2 books. You don’t have to read them; it works just as well as a stand-alone.
Of course after reading this book I’m going to anxiously await the last one, since there’s one friend(sister) left who’s story needs to be told.

While Jana is at the castle, the queen is murdered and her, along with her father, are considered suspects. Simultaneously, Jana is learning that she has powers that may help her find the killer…but also make her a target for others. She must figure out who is telling the truth, who is lying, who is using her, and navigate the world of royal politics at the same time.

This story thrusts you into the world of Adrjssian head-first! There are twists and turns that I never saw coming. Jana finds herself on both sides of the story…hero and villain…while she figures out who she is, who she can trust, and what she is capable of.

I am glad that I went into this story without knowing anything…so I won’t give anything away so others can do the same! Such a good book…and I’m hoping there is another one!

The Bear at Midnight is the fourth book in the Orkneyinga Murders Series and once you start reading there’s no stopping until you’ve finished. I read this in one afternoon , I couldn’t put it down I had to know what was going to happen next. I highly recommend reading this series in order each book is just as good as the first. I was very intrigued by this Historical Murder Mystery that is set in Scotland and this author did a wonderful job and the attention to detail and her characters all came together in a wonderfully written story. The twists and turns definitely had me on the edge of my seat at times. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

The Mesmerist is a fantasy, magical story. I was excited to pick this book up because I had read the author’s books before. The book ties together an incredible story, fantasy, magic, and intrigue. I enjoyed the world-building and the different levels of magic. The characters are well developed. I do not want to say too much about the plot because I do not want to give anything away. The story has many twists and turns, and I enjoyed how the plot was not a cookie-cutter mystery. I know this is a standalone book and not part of a series, but it leaves me wanting more from this world. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I love when a female lead can hold her own and not be meek and not speak her mind. Thats what I really loved about Gina. She wasnt afraid to speak her mind when needed to call someone out on things and she had me laughing with her interaction with Bryce.

These two had the chemistry to burn the pages but they really had their work cut our for them with needed to be open with each other.

This author took a very sensitive topic and made it empowering to read about. I cried with our couple as they overcame these hardships and hurdles as they went through them.
And now i will wait for the next in the series as Gina’s group of sisters dropped a hige bombshell at the end and curious minds need to know!

This book is the fourth in a series and can easily be read as a stand alone book. Each book follows a leader of one of the 5 Italian American mafia families. This book is about Marco La Rosa and Elena Caruso. The Bratva killed Elena’s mother and have been after Elena all of her life. A few years ago, she made a desperate move to appear dead, run for her life, leave all her family and friends, and be off their radar for good. But now, that has no longer worked as they have found her and come to kill her. Marco steps in to save her; but can he be trusted? Elena is forced to trust him as they work together to find out why the Bratva want her dead. The story moves quickly and is read just as quickly. I loved the twist towards the end of the story and had not figured out all of the answers. Small warning, there is a semi graphic sex that can be easily skipped over if that’s not your thing. Fantastic book in an enjoyable series with a talented author!

This book picks right up where the first book, “The Clockwork Witch” ended. If you haven’t read the first book do so before reading this one as everything will make far more sense!

After having successfully passed the witch trials Arabella thinks that she is protected by the sisterhood of witches but quickly finds out that is not the case. Now she must face the dangers that are coming from every corner all while deciding which house she wants to choose to align with. Fraught with uncertainty of the future after declaring technomancer as her chosen skill, Arabella receives her first task as a witch with hopes she’ll be more protected in another country. With her unheard of skills Arabella hopes to help cure the blight that threatens families in Ireland but unfortunately they are unwelcoming of witches. Can Arabella figure out what is causing the blight of the potatoes with her powers or is this simply to keep her occupied and out of harm’s way? What of her budding romance can it survive not only meeting family but staying under the same roof? More questions that answers arise as Arabella tries to solve the blight in Ireland but is there a connection between past circumstances and present situations?

This book was a wonderful sequel to the first book. Written with such care to character development and situations that allow the reader to feel a part of the story. I cried and I laughed and now I must mourn because I finished it and await to see if another book in the series will be forthcoming.

What a lovely story! Sofia is an incredible woman and so strong. She was in a bad situation but didn’t let the past make her weak, instead it made her stronger. Theo was also amazing and helped Sofia so much. This book reminded me that it’s possible to move on and be happy even when it feels impossible. Definitely recommend if you want the feel goods wrapped in a great book.

Clockwork Solution is an interesting story with a strong young witch who wants to not only do the right thing but also prove herself. Arabella has a strange magic technomancy that no one has really seen before and she is determined to prove her magic is just as strong as anyone else’s. Having been shipped off for her “protection” to investigate an issue that no one else seems to be to able to solve Arabella is thrust into a dangerous mystery that pushes her to her limits both magical and emotional. A great read and I would highly recommend reading this series.

I hadn’t realized when I started this book that it was a sequel to another book prior. All things considered, I really did enjoy Wild Hare’s daughter. I didn’t have any difficulty following along or relating to the characters, especially gravitating toward Amy. I really liked the writing style of this new to me author. Switching between Bobby and Amy’s perspective throughout the book really gives a larger picture and is one of my favorite elements in a lot of books I’ve read. I felt the writing was strong and the dystopian aspects mixed with reality really made this a unique story for me. I would definitely consider reading more from this author.
