  1. No Pistol Tastes the SameNo Pistol Tastes the Same by Jacob Paul Patchen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The amount of quotes in this book that I would like to share is unmeasurable! They are all so deep.

“We’re all just stalks of grain in the wind, Jp. We go where we go, we bend where we bend, and if it’s our time to break, then we break. But you can’t just let yourself bleed out because you think that you deserve it”.
Is one of those quotes that just made a lot of sense for this book.

But what to say about how it was.. I’m a bit speechless, which doesn’t happen often to me. I would recommend doing yourself a favor and go get this book and read it cover to cover. This is one of the most powerful and absorbing books I’ve read so far this year. It really was incredible. I am really interested in picking up book 2 after reading the excerpt of chapter 1 at the end of this book and I will absolutely be checking into reading the authors other works.
