House of Arsceneaux (Servants of Morrigan: Immortal Creatures) by Caterina Novelliere – Review by Valerie Anderson

House of ArsceneauxHouse of Arsceneaux by Caterina Novelliere
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This story is absolutely amazing!!! Both reluctant to meet for business dealings neither of them is interested in, Caitlin and Evarist are both strong willed and bullheaded, yet charming and enjoyable, sweet, and lovable. Their relationship is so fun, as they get to know each other while also rediscovering themselves. The author does such an amazing job creating characters that are so real with such incredible back stories. Every time you think you are figuring everything out; she throws in another head spinning plot twist. The Characters and lore intertwined into this story is so detailed and thought out making this a truly fascinating story or stories 😉

Twisted Bond by Danielle Jacks – Review by Allison Davis

Twisted BondTwisted Bond by Danielle Jacks
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This was a super quick paranormal, enemies to lovers, romance. Titan is being forced to find a wife and Rose is forced in the mix to find the moonstone to save her people. Titan is intrigued with rose right from the start but he can’t quite figure her out. Rose never expect to want to get close to Titan. Titan present as the ultimate villain but the dual POV story telling you get to see more into the minds of both main characters. This world of witches wolves, fairies, and more is so intriguing. I do feel the plot is a little lacking, in the sense it all just feels like a lot in a short book but still enjoyable.

Breathless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 3) by KG Fletcher – Review by Betsy Melano

Breathless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #3)Breathless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Book three of The Bennetts of Langdon Falls is focused on Hank the musical brother and Ella Mae. The author does a great job of sharing the characters thoughts and insecurities as Hank takes on the music scene on Nashville. Ella Mae convinces Hank on tagging along as Ella Mae’s brother travels to promote his music. The music and experiences Hank has makes him wonder if he’s really meant to sing. The musical aspect of this book really spoke to me. Music is life and this book captured my emotions.

Deception by Victoria Saccenti – Review by Crystal Jimenez

Deception (Central Florida Stories, #1)Deception by Victoria Saccenti
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is my first read from this author. This book started out a little slow for me, but I will be looking for book 2 to see if her writing style gets better for me. This was a good military romance book, with a little kick of revenge thrown in. Oh, and did I mention the added bonus of the BDSM in the book? Yeah, I think that is what did it for me in the end.

This is the second book in the series, of many to come I hope. You don’t really need to read the first book to read this one, but it would be an added bonus if you did. This was a great, friends to lovers book, that has the extra bonus of the BDSM story line as well. A define page turner for me.

Blood. Death. War.

A dynasty destroyed.

Leaving me as the ultimate prize.

I’m an unmated Omega Wolf. A Princess. And destined to rule. But the remaining Alpha Princes all want to claim me, their brutal methods terrifying and cruel.

I’ve spent the last century running, hiding in places where no one would think to look.

Only he found me. Prince Kieran, the most powerful shifter of them all.

Our game of hide and seek has come to an end.

It’s time for me to submit.

Or to die fighting.

Kieran O’Callaghan

My little trickster escaped me once. She indulged in a dangerous game of chase throughout the Sectors, but I’ve finally found my prize.

Poor little darling thought I valued chivalry and courting. I’m an Alpha Prince. I take what I want, when I want it, however I want it. And her sweet blood beckons the predator within me to destroy all her dreams of a happily ever after.

Let the Princes enjoy their Royal V-Wars.

As long as they bow to me as King of Blood Sector, I won’t intervene.

Besides, I have a new pretty little Omega to tame. It’s time to put a crown on her and make her my queen.

Author’s Note: This is a standalone dark shifter romance with Omegaverse themes. Kieran is an unapologetic Alpha Prince and Quinn is a feisty Omega Princess. It’s a match made in literal hell where the antihero is the king.

This was such a great read. I was invested from the start. Firehouse reads are a favorite of mine and this one just dove right in and didnt sugarcoat anything. The chemistry was explosive and could feel the heat between them whether he realized it or not from the start.

Imperfectly Yours (Titans of Manhattan Book 2) by Anise Storm – Review by Donya Pedigo

Imperfectly Yours (Titans of Manhattan #2)Imperfectly Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Be warned there are some triggering topics such as addiction, loss, depression, miscarriage, infertility, along with drug & alcohol dependency. These topics are well written and handled with care in this book, however I felt a warning needed to be said in case someone has triggers to these things.

This is the second book in the author’s Titans of Manhattan series, and it is a unique spin on a romance book. The spin is that the love story between Anton and Elsa has already begun before the book opens. Anton is a Hollywood actor in love with Elsa who is a realtor in New York City. We get to read and experience all the ups and downs of the first year of marriage. Like in real life this couple had to face many tragedies and problems within their fictional life. These characters are so well written that they seem real enough to pop off the page and join you in real life, which is a great tribute to the author’s writing.

I love that this book showed that no matter what this couple faced they stuck beside each other trying to adapt and learn how to cope, trust, and depend on one another. This is something more people in real life need to learn and live by.

Seductively Yours (Titans of Manhattan Book 3) by Anise Storm – Review by Donya Pedigo

Seductively Yours (Titans Of Manhattan, #3)Seductively Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Seductively Yours, Titans of Manhattan Series, is the 3rd installment by Anise Storm and it is by far my favorite. Not only does Storm have a wonderful way with words, but she crafts her books in such a way that you feel as if you’re right there with the characters as they go through the ups and downs of love and lust.

Mason Steele, is seductive, sexy, and successful so it’s no wonder he’s one of the most eligible bachelors around. As he’s grown his empire and became the owner of the hottest new nightclub in the city he has followed two cardinal rules: always keep sex casual and never mix business and pleasure. These rules have always kept his heart and assets safe until he realizes that the recent girl who caught his attention is actually a new hire at his club. Will he recover from breaking his own rules or will he finally find a reason to leave the rules behind?

Rhyann Ward
Is a small town girl from Kansas with big dreams. Rhyann has been awarded a ballet scholarship to an exclusive arts school, so she’s ready to make those dreams a reality. She knows she must maintain her scholarship while she studies and tries to land a spot in a world-wide production. It doesn’t take long for her to realize going after your dreams takes passion and money. While trying to make her way through dance school, her girlfriend and her decide to get jobs as exotic dancers. It isn’t until later that she finds out Mason, her one night stand is the owner. Rhyann struggles in this big city, as she tries to follow her dreams, and find herself amid the new dangerous world.

As I said Seductively Yours is by far my favorite in this series, the steam, chemistry, and romance between Mason and Rhyann is phenomenal. Grab a good seat because when you start this book you won’t want to quit until the final page.

In the beginning of this book, It seemed a little slow paced or hard to connect to. After a bit it became more medium paced, and I felt there was a better flow. Overall there was a good storyline, characters that you love, and a plot twist you don’t really see coming. It left me wishing for more in the end. Would read more!

Distant Memories (Nurse Morgan Series Book 2) by Kate MacInnis – Review by Ashley Mertz

Distant Memories: A Nurse Morgan Series: Book TwoDistant Memories: A Nurse Morgan Series: Book Two by Kate MacInnis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Distant Memories by Kate MacInnis is sending out all the ghostly vibes. Our MC Morgan is an Emergency Room nurse working in Metro Detroit with twenty years’ experience. Following a brain aneurysm that led to a lifesaving craniotomy, Morgan now experiences psychic abilities. Morgan lives with her ghostly roommates, The Wilkerson’s, and experiences spirits who haven’t crossed over at the hospital daily.
Morgan must deal with an evil entity, Esmeralda, who is causing havoc in the hospital and in Morgan’s personal life. Esmeralda is a man obsessed ghostly seductress. She moves through the hospital touching patients, harming hospital employees, stealing food, and encouraging patients to “check out” and cross over. Esmeralda is great at flirting with men. She has her eyes set on Dr. Caleb Lightfoot, Morgan’s current “fling”.
When Esmeralda becomes destructive, destroying the lab and the pharmacy, Caleb and Morgan realize they must act to remove this entity from the hospital. They request the help of Father Roberts to perform a cleansing. Will this be enough to rid of the horrible Esmeralda from the hospital and Morgan’s relationship with Caleb?
Distant Memories is a fun, entertaining, paranormal romance full of ghostly drama, mischief, and humor. The characters are strong, well developed, relatable, and instantly likeable. The storyline flows with ease and gets straight to the point without dragging on. I did feel the book ended abruptly. I am desperately hoping this means there will be more to come with a 3rd book. Distant Memories can be read as a standalone or following the first book: Distant Heart Sounds.

A wounded Seal that has demons of his own that he is dealing with is called to protect a witness. This book gave me all the feeling and kept me on the edge of my seat once I got into it. It started off a little slow as I envisioned it was sad in the beginning but once you’re past the 3rd chapter and you meet Bella aka Beccy you fall in love with her and Levi and the thriller of the past life they have endured and overcome. I would love to read a sequel to this!

Truth or Kill speaks to that little corner of your mind that binge watches serial killer documentaries and adds some steam just for kicks! It is a little dark, pretty twisted, and a pretty killer read. I can honestly say that I have NEVER read a book like this before! It is the ultimate version of a “Come to the Dark Side” romance. Absolutely worth it!

What a great book. This book deals with it all, mental health, love, for eachother and for ourselves. Callie was such a great character, she saw Evan was struggling and she knew she had to help him and that she wanted him. The love these two had for eachother was magical and beyond anything I have ever seen. I wanted it to go on forever, but I will just have to do a reread.

Another great story by this author. Victoria and Seth make a deal and watch the magic happen. I really enjoyed this book it had the right amount of slow burn that made me get to know both the charactors.
The chemistry was amazing and kept me invested in this relationship. I was.not a fan of Victoria being dishonest but I understood why it happened.
Another great book by a new author for me and I cannot wait to read more.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was my first book by this author and I am hooked. This is the story of Chelsea and Tom, she has always dated the bad boys and now it might be time for a nice guy.
Tom is that guy, in every way. But, he showed her that nice guys does not mean boring or geeky. I fell in love with Tom and the way he was with Chelsea.
He was nice, interested in what she needed and wanted but he could also be sexy and dirty. What women would not want that? This book gave me some ideas to go find myself a nice guy. Really amazing book.

This book is about a second chance romance. Nadia and Luke was so good to read, their relationship was so eye opening. Nadia did not do relationships and Luke was aware of this.
Nadia hired him to fix her home and all the feelings were coming back but is it going to be a repeat?
I loved this book because I understood both the charactors feelings and where they were coming from. Love and relationships are so hard and when you both have baggage it can be even harder. I enjoyed this book so much.

This is the second book that I have read from this series, and my favorite part are the cartoon like cute illustrations! At an extremely close second, my favorite part is at the end with the explanation of the science experiment. This is a great book to read to little ones, and have them absorb this type of learning. Then one day they grow up and read it for themselves! I love these books.

I would read this series in order to get the most out of it. I’ve enjoyed reading this series, and as with the previous books, this one is filled with mystery and intrigue. The characters and the narrative are well-fleshed out and the attention to historical detail makes it so easy to be transported to another time and place. The pace is definitely gripping and I didn’t want to put the book down. A great ending to a great series.

I of course read this book not realizing somehow that it was a part of a series. Also of course, it was the last book in the series. This however, is my fault and you best believe after reading this one that I went and made sure I could grab the rest to begin again. This book was exciting, engaging, mysterious, and captivating. The author spins a tale that not only takes you to another place but another time. I feel for the characters and loved how they interacted with one another! Very well written and engaging tale!

From the very beginning if the book, I was hooked. I stayed up so late devouring every word from it!
There is not one thing I did not like about this book. It was executed so perfectly. I don’t want to write any spoilers, but it made it into my list of favorites. The plot, the characters, everything was exceptional, I don’t understand how something so incredibly intriguing was written so well. I would rate it 10 Stars if I could!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book I’ve read by this author. I was not at all disappointed. This book is book four of a series by a collaboration of authors.

Sol is being forced to retire and it’s going to ruin his life if he keeps going down this self destructive path of “coping”. Ember is a newly minted firefighter, which is everything she’s wanted. The only problem is she also wants Sol but her job might drive a wedge between them. Will Ember and Sol’s friendship grow into more or will Sol let her job tear them apart.

I am glad I picked this book up. I really enjoyed it! There’s a bit of angst and lot of emotions and chemistry! I definitely recommend!

I love how each book in this series can be read as a standalone. The characters roll over from each book (more so in the first two books) but you dont need to follow along. This book along with the others have their own individual story to tell. Seth Pierce is the gamer of the brothers an loves to have fun! Well he meets his match when he meets Victoria in a fake interview an tries to find out who she really is. Shes confident, bossy an knows what she wants but can he persuade her into wanting him? Belinda once again stole my interest an I cant wait to see what else she comes out with next!

Distant Memories by Kate MacInnis is the second book in the Nurse Morgan series. Just like the first book, Distant Memories is filled with humor, ghosts, mystery, and a bit of romance. This text gives a good deal of summary about the first book so you can keep track of what is going on.

It seems things have started to settle down with Morgan as she has accepted her new psychic gifts. A new ghostly seductress enters the picture with her sights set on Caleb, Morgan’s new man. The plot brings to life some mischief with new adventures that cause some craziness in the spirit world as well as in real life for Morgan. I look forward to book 3 when it comes out!

Very well written Historical romance, Isabella finds herself alone and wanting a husband so that she may start a family. She, like several of her friends learn about a mail order bride advertisement and so she finds an ad that sounds like a wonderful opportunity. After writing to the man several times she boards a train to meet him. This is where things start to take a turn.
There are a few triggers in this story, to list them actually spoils the story so just know this book is not for the faint of heart.

I have loved this series! Book 3 has taken me even deeper yet again with Donovan and Shirley, and I could see as clear as day things were about to get very complicated. Book 3 brings back the devilish Coalition who want Donovan and his family at all costs and they are using any means necessary. Its become clear they are out to get anyone and everyone who is not a full breed vampire, and they are ready to go to war for it. As time runs out Donovan and Shirley must save not only their family but the fate of the world at hand who is now at the hands of the Coalition. With humor, drama, suspense , and only the charm Donovan can provide we watch as he sets out save everyone in what may be the very end as the paranormal world and the human world preparing for a fight to the death.
