Anna McDonnell is building a business but in order to do that she needs to put herself out there socially. The one saving grace at the latest function is seeing Phillip, the Earl of Arburne again. Phillip is her brothers best friend and the man she kissed not too long ago. Both have problems, Anna trying to socially navigate her blooming business and Phillip’s bachelor status that is fodder for the tabloids. They come up with a plan, Anna will be Phillips girlfriend but what happens when feelings get involved?
Fun read. I enjoyed how this story developed between Anna and Phillip. Entertaining romance with a royal flare.
