When it comes to novels about entertainers, such as a “pop star”, I am all in! This book was the absolute best drama-filled, entertaining love story ever. The artist did a phenomenal job with character descriptions and building up a plot, especially since this book isn’t the first in a series. After reading this one, I want to read them all now! Who would have thought an adorable novel about a mayor and a pop star would be so dramatic and interesting and they would connect!!!! Plus, it was written in a fashion that it is relatable on several levels!

I typically don’t read prequels but I am so glad I picked this up! My only complaint is that it was so short! It was an intriguing intro into a new series. I will absolutely be picking up the next volume! Can’t wait to see how EmVee’s story turns out!

A wonderfully written read full of heart! That is how I would describe this story of Paige and Mark. Paige is totally captivated by Marks paintings and upon meeting him the man himself as well. She has been hurt badly by a previous relationship where she was involved with a client so to say she is reluctant to have anything other than a professional relationship with Mark would be a huge understatement. The attraction and connection they have to each other is so strong it truly can not be denied. Can Paige see past her broken heart and dissolve the defences she built to protect herself, to fight for a chance at a future they have both only dreamed of? Such a sweet read! I loved Paige and Mark was perfect for her, even if he was reluctant at first. This book was well written and I had trouble putting it down because I just fell in love with the story line. If you enjoy contemporary feel goods this is definitely the book for you! This was the first time I have read anything from this author but I can guarantee it won’t be the last.

I loved loved loved this book. I was hooked again just like I was in what was technically book 0. EmVee is still absolutely amazing and just a super bad butt chick. Holy cow! After reading this book I am totally switching my diet to a vegan and non-GMO. It is so scary how genes work, and the how transfer of disease and sickness can move through the feed in cattle and affect a human being! Just WOW! What a great story that captured my attention from the very first chapter. There are a multitude of well written characters that we can’t help but empathize with and root for the normal human beings to survive in this book. The mutated humans or “genies” as the author has chosen to call them are a scary bunch and the new abilities that they have gained is incredible. While I understand that this is a work of fiction, the author has done due diligence in providing many facts along the way to support the story and make it truly believable and thought provoking. Not only is the food contaminated but so is the land. How do we recover from such a huge tragedy that takes out 95% of the world population? Such a well written book to make one think not only about our food supply but what our government and its agencies can do to our food supply. This book is a real eye-opener into the scope of power we give to those in authority and government and what we need to do to protect ourselves and our loved ones. This book is a must read for anyone who thinks our government has our best interests in mind and follow along like sheeple. Please do yourself a favor, read the book, do your own research, and be aware of what could possibly happen soon. Get to know your neighbor and the organic local farmers. They will be your best tool for surviving the GMO crap storm that is lurking in the future.

This book was so sweet and I enjoyed everything about it! It was actually the first in the series I’ve read but now I’m definitely going back to read the rest. Kiki and Eric were wonderful characters. I loved going on their journey with them, even over the road bumps. I just love a small town romance and this one hit it out of the park. Highly recommend!

Dudes in fast cars – LOVE it! Add in paranormal and magic and I’m in heaven! I haven’t read anything by this author before but actually quite enjoyed this book. It’s marked as book 3.5 in the series; and whilst it’s a stand alone read, I think character wise I would have benefited from reading the previous books. It was still enjoyable though…..

A Quirk of Destiny is book one in the Apocalyptic Trilogy and is a Sci-Fi Thriller Dystopian story that definitely will have you thinking about things long after you’ve finished. This is a bit out of my normal genre but I truly enjoyed reading it and I like this authors style of writing along with characters that brought the story to life. I had a hard time putting it down. This will make you think twice before buying certain things . Im gonna tell you this makes our worlds current situations more terrifying than they already are. It definitely gives you lots to think about. Im not going to give anything away but I do highly recommend reading this book and I look forward to reading the next book in this Trilogy.

The truth is out there This thought-provoking book had me on the edge of my seat, quickly turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. The author has based the book on a foundation of true-science which is scary enough in itself, let alone woven through with the global conspiracies and epidemic. My heart raced and my mind was blown by the possibilities. A strong start to what looks to be a thrilling trilogy. Highly recommend.

WOW this book had my full attention, I could not put it down!!! I have not read any stories by this author, and I was blown away as this was such a great Mafia Romance book to read. This book revolves around Leah, who has a trouble past who is a famous country singer whose life changes when Dominik comes into her life in a quick second. Their story was something that has me on the edge of my seat with many twists, turns and unexpected things. This book was so great that I am now going to read the other books in the series. I cannot wait to tell my friends to read this book!

This was a quick read. Paige was taken with Mark from the getgo… What’s not to love? Horses, wide open spaces and romance. I haven’t read anything else by this author but enjoyed this read. As someone who lives in Aus I have formed an affinity with Montana and this book fed that addiction. Worth the time to read!

I’m not a massive historical romance reader but was looking for something different. I really loved this book! Set in the 15th century T L Clark did an awesome job of setting a lifelike reality for that century. You could see the effort that had been put into the researching the accuracy of the writing for both the landscape, characters and even the way they talked.
This is the first book I have read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Its the first book in the Love Through the Ages series but it was definitely a stand alone read.

When I started reading this book, it caught me off guard thinking how realistic it was. I know many people that have been sucked in by MLM pyramid schemes and I cannot count the number of times I have been asked to host parties by acquaintances on social media. The author further delves into these types of businesses and very succinctly describes the people involved. The book gives a great sense of everyday life with the suspense of a murder mystery. It feels like it could be the story of people you know.
The thing that I think is most important about this book is that the author includes marginalized people and very astutely presents flawed characters. No one character is all bad or all good – as Elizabeth points out many times. There is a significant portion of the book dedicated to bullying at all levels/ages and there are characters who call out the bullies regardless of the tense situations doing so can lead to.
There is great messaging wrapped up in the package of solving a mystery, and I did not foresee the resolution! Good story, better characters!!

I love the research that went into the writing of this book. This helped bring the characters alive and the events plausible to real life. Some chapters are written from a different character view point, or continues the same viewpoint. This gives refreshing insight into what propels the story forward. I liked the idea of the therapy dog helping the main character through her trauma and the FBI having a victim’s unit. The apple airtags was something my daughter told me about when she bought some to use. Thank you to the author for adding a section to let the reader know what was fiction and what was fact. There is plenty of suspense to keep the pages turning. I enjoyed the book and will go back and read others in the series!

Well Princess of Prias, I’m not sure what possessed me to jump into this book, it’s typically not my genre. I would have to say it hasn’t converted me to the genre but it’s also decent. The author put a lot of thought into the story being told. It’s well written, which was the main reason I kept reading. A book well written if it’s of interest to me or not genre wise, will always keep me interested. Also appreciative of the work assembled for enjoyment. This type of genre definitely appeals to a lot of people, and I recommend all of them to check it out! L, never feeling like she belonged, finds out she’s not only a different species but a Princess of another planet. It’s her destiny to lead the rebels against Temis and the enforcers. Kind of sounds like something out of Star Wars, right? The problem is does she believe it, let alone believe in herself. Life on earth seems so much easier now. Locan, destined to return the Princess to her rightful place, is battling. Battling those who feel the need to stop him, his inner warrior, and the feelings he doesn’t want to admit he has for L. He’s a royal guard that can’t happen. Learning to accept his inner warrior is going to be his biggest struggle, because he fears it. What will it make him? His father accepted his warrior and killed his mother in the process. Locan refuses to let that happen to him. Does L accept who she truly is? Do they get to Prias without a hitch, knowing they have Jabon and the enforcers after them? Again if this book is your sort of thing, definitely read it. I will reiterate how the author wrote a wonderful story for all who enjoy the genre!

Thief is a gripping and thrilling dark Mafia romance suspense tale. It is the fourth book in the Popov Bratva series. I read this as a standalone but I will be going back and starting at the beginning as I enjoyed it so much. This twisted tale will leave you addicted and wanting more. The characters are compelling and make the story come alive. It is full of everything to keep the reader enthralled with intrigue and suspense, passion and angst, lies and deceit, secrets and betrayal, danger and violence, plus a little enemy to lover’s romance.
No one steals her baby and gets away with it. No one can make him deviate from his work. That is until the two collide in the most unusual way and sparks begin to fly.
This book gripped me from start to finish! I fell head over heels for the characters and how real they seemed yet how well they fit into the story the author wrote. They were well thought out and so relatable! The plot was executed so well and it had such a great pace! I loved this book and will definitely look for more from the author!!

Good book! I enjoyed this the mystery and wit in this book. Following EmVee on her quest to find answers had me enjoying the adventure. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next in the following instalment.
