Antipodes (Antipodes Book 1) by T.S. Simons – Review by Breanne Christian

Antipodes (Antipodes, #1)Antipodes by T.S. Simons
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A protozoan that infects the water is ravaging the Earth. Scientists realize that they must take measures to save the human species. Domes are created, but only carefully selected individuals may live within these domes. Individuals must be college aged, going to college in an important field, childless, and healthy. Cam lives in Australia where the protozoan has not spread to yet. His older sister Sorcha told him about the opportunity and told him to go see what it was about and let her know. After hours of screening, Cam was chosen. Cam is lost as to what he should choose, until his mother gave the final say. He was going. Now Cam must adapt to this new life without his family, surrounded by strangers. Will the domes provide the protection needed? Will Cam settle into his new life? Find out in Antipodes.
Antipodes is full of detail that not only helps the reader envision the views, but also feel the same feelings as the characters. You will feel right along Cam through his plight in this new life. All characters are relatable, and you will find yourself falling in love with them. There is not a single part in Antipodes that I would change. If you are looking for a great adventure, full of different emotions, look no further. If you enjoyed Antipodes, look for the second book in the series, The Liminal Space.
