Bycatch by Alexander Blevens. I absolutely loved this book. Its a very different story but it was so good. Its about Rex Thompson who is a Vietnam Veteran and when he commits a crime in Vietnam years ago he never expect to have it come back on him years later on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Rex has regretted this act for years and when it comes back to haunt him it brings it all back. His sons thinking they are protecting their father, commit another crime to cover up their dads. This story brings to light a lot about the Vietnamese people who have made the Mississippi Coast their home. Will Rex be able to protect his sons from their crime or will it uncover the ugly truth.
