This is the first book in the Agent Red: Teegan Stone Series. This book is incredibly fast paced and easy to read. It was also filled with many twists and turns that kept me guessing iwth each page I turned. It ended too quickly for me, I found myself wanting more. I’m glad that this is in a series because I want to continue to learn about Teegan and her teammates.
Teegan wakes up chained to a bed with no recollection of how she got there. She is concerned about her family and very confused. However, as those who abducted her soon reveal, her family is very safe. Rather, it is her they are after. Not in the typical way that a person who is generally abducted is after some one. Rather, they want to show her who she used to be. She used to be a member of an elite organization in the Navy who was in charge of protecting America. Teegan walked away from this life to devote herself to her family. She was tired of the danger, the death, the killing, the espionage. She is being asked to continue a mission that she has botched and this means awakening a piece of her that has been dormant for a long time. Throughout this book, we watch Teegan struggle with her desire to be a family mom, to reclaim her old life, and who to trust. I definitely recommend it!
