My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As you might imagine, most of these rock star romance novels end with a very cute happily ever after. I’m not complaining, at all. Honestly, the way that different authors write, it intrigues me to no end, and this author was no different. Though the story follows two main characters, being Ella and Jared, you’re not torn in trying to decide who you’re more connected to. Rather, you feel for them both. Jared is this hardcore play boy that has a touch, yes, a touch, of anxiety and a myriad of other things going on, and what he wants more than nothing else is to be enough. Ella, oh Ella. She doesn’t know what she wants, but she knows she wants what she sees in her group of friends. In all ways.

Ultimately, this novel came at me, and I devoured it, very quickly. Especially with the colder weather coming up, the idea of being stuck in a cabin with a hot play boy for a quick little tryst sounds like just what the doctor ordered. I will be going back and reading more of this authors work, as she definitely has the writing skill bug, and I love it! Highly recommend.
