Divided Lives by K.R. Mullins

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The author knows how to keep me entertained with her historical novels. Each is better than the last. Divided Lives is the first book I’ve read by the author that doesn’t have anything to do with Notebook Mysteries.

Lottie is a lawyer by day and would hate for her private life to become public. When her on and off girlfriend goes missing she starts being blackmailed. Things start going sideways when Frank becomes involved. The quote I chose for Lottie is: “Why? I don’t know. After all the drama with Rose, Joseph seemed so sweet. He didn’t play games. If he said he was going to be somewhere, then that’s where he would be.”

Highly recommended for Historical Crime lovers.
