*shudder* This book is creepy, gave me nightmares, and is sooo good. I’m a huge fan of horror and have arachnophobia. I knew going it what it was about and had to read it. A demon spider and a little girl trapped. The writing is superb. The characters are written to give the write amount of creepiness. I haven’t been this creeped out since Cujo or Night Shift. Well done, author. This is a must read for horror lovers. New author to me and now a new fan.
This was a beautiful story full of amazing illustrations. I loved the authors focus on the struggles we all go through with trying new things but how sticking with those things we love will lead to amazing things. Highly recommended

Another wonderfully written and engaging story! This is the second in the series and it still lives up to the hype created in book 1. Action..action and then suspense are what keep this story rolling and me turning pages. Add in the charismatic characters and this is a hard book to put down!
In here there are multiple stories moving along. Keep tour eyes open for snippets to the secrets of the different stories. They are fast moving and the dynamics between the characters had me holding my breath one minute and clapping wildly the next.
This author has quite the imagination! Everything is described well and I can picture in my head exactly how everything should look. I look forward to more in this series. Who knows what the Divine Devils will get up to in the next one.

Euphoric Wonderland is a collection of the author’s poetry. The poetry represents many different experiences of his life brought about in a moment of understanding while listening to the Beatles. He states that not that long ago, he discovered the music of the Beatles, on vinyl, and his life was changed. I am not sure how to describe what I just read if I am being honest. There were times that I didn’t really understand what he was trying to say and felt I was reading something similar to a Dr. Seuss book. However, there were also many poems that were very relatable to things today (p.s. You may need a dictionary, a lot of extensive vocabulary is used). That is what I enjoyed the most, his poetry used phrasing, words, lyrics, etc. that were recognizable by today’s society. I also enjoyed the aestetics of the book, the art matched much of what was being portrayed so helped, at times, with understanding. Overall, I feel poetry is a little bit of a lost art and for that alone, I enjoyed the process of reading this collection.

This was an amazing continuum of the first book. The author created awesome characters. I felt like I was there with them every step of the way. I was hooked from the beginning. I was transported into the world the author created so beautifully. I highly recommend this.

This is the second book in this amazing series and I just simply can’t get enough. The characters were once again well developed, the plot was intriguing with just a hint of mystery. This book is by far one of the greatest books I have read this year. The characters were very well developed, the connection between them is out of this world, and the plot just tied everything together perfectly. When I first found this book I had no idea that it was part of a series. But thankfully it can be read as a stand-alone without losing parts Of the story. However this story was so great that I am curious about what other great characters and storylines are in the previous six books, so I will be going back and reading those also. The cover of Thai book was absolutely adorable and I knew when I read the synopsis that I had to read it. So if you haven’t already picked up this book make sure you pick it up today.

Mech warrior As a child one of my favourite games was Mech Warrior. This book bought back memories of playing that game. I enjoyed the action, battles, mystery, intrigue and dashes of humour. I found myself quickly swept up in a unique sci-fi adventure and vested in the characters survival. The characterisation was very well done. Now to wait for book 2.

Musical Murder Mystery has been a fabulous little read! As a bigger woman with a big voice, I totally related to Ruby in her struggles as an eternal ensemble member! I loved all of the references to my favourite musicals and the added bonus that this story combines my two favourite things: a good old ‘who dunnit’ and musical theatre! The writing is well structured, descriptive and immersive, even if I did get a little nervous about them tampering with all that evidence! All in all, a lovely read!
I really enjoyed this book. I wasn’t sure if I would find it interesting as I haven’t read anything like it before so wasn’t sure what to expect but the author didn’t disappoint. The author took time to explain certain elements and terminology which really helped me as someone new to this genre.
I loved the Sci fi side of it and the thought of these giant upright tanks was definately an image to imagine. The author’s attention to detail is what really made them come alive and feel as if they could really exist.
This story is action packed as you would imagine for a military story but I also love the fact that the story is mainly around Rande (Vandel). How he goes from a guy that works behind the scenes fixing up these huge machines to being thrown into the front line actually controlling one of the machines he loving cares for. Its a story of courage, feelings of uncertainty and facing fears you never expected to have to face.
The story is full of intrigue and Suspense and it definately keeps the reader gripped wanting to know what will happen next.
I really enjoyed my first taste of this genre and I can’t wait to see what the author produces next.

Tirzah M.M. Hawkins is an author of all things dark including horror, fantasy, and snippets of sci-fi. She began writing stories when she was ten years old. Some of her favorites at that age were The Hobbit and The Chronicles of Narnia.
After watching too many horror movies at a young age, she has only recently been able to start sleeping with her feet uncovered at night.
She lives with her husband and their many fur (and feathered) babies including at any given time dogs, cats, horses, goats, pigs (that have happy lives until they are eaten), and chickens (who are only around for eggs).
Her favorite hobbies are reading, writing, researching, school (she currently is board certified as a holistic health practitioner and is enrolled in a doctorate of natural medicine program), singing, and listening to music.
I never related more to a character, than I did to Georgia. Ain’t nobody got time to deal with dead end douche bags, silly drama, and bullies who think they can come in a take what they want. Georgia is a strong, independent, kick ass character. I loved the witty banter between her and Hudson. The angst and attraction is there from the get go! I couldn’t wait to find out how the story ended. Overall, I find this to be a really fun and easy read. It was exactly what I was looking for and I look forward to the rest of the Lit Lovers Series.

This book has all the tropes I love. Mafia, undercover agents, long lost love, and second chances. Damian and Evie’s story starts off when they are 17 years old. Young love in these stories can often be cringey. But I found Evie and Damian super adorable. When her father threatens him and his family, he leaves abruptly. Leaving Evie broken hearted and confused. Damian returns 13 years later, but he isn’t the same boy she fell in love with. Evie isn’t one to take “no” for an answer. There were times when I was left scratching my head because Damian was acting like a DB and Evie just kept coming back. Things are definitely NOT any easier now that they are adults. Many challenges come their way. I was overall happy with the story and the characters you meet within it.

Elemental Fire is the first book in The Hidden Realms series by E.G. Manetti, who proved to be quite a skilled storyteller. I was hooked right from the beginning and ended up devouring the book in one sitting because I couldn’t, and wouldn’t, put it down. I became completely lost in the story, in the best possible way…. This is a superb paranormal romance with different realms, magic, danger, action, adventure, mystery, suspense, intrigue, tension, chemistry, sizzle, agendas, twists, surprising developments, numerous mythical beings, and so much more. Ms. Manetti has masterfully woven a complex and vividly detailed world in which to set her story. As well as crafting wonderfully unique characters with their own fully developed personalities, who helped to bring her story to life. I loved Sin and Rad- they were just to perfect, and absolutely captivating. I was invested in them and their story right from their introduction, needing to know every minute detail. Their chemistry was electrifying, steaming up the screen of my Kindle, and sizzling the edges. The sparks were flying right from the get-go, and it didn’t take long for those hot embers to spark into white hot flames. But the sizzle didn’t come at the expense of the storyline, because there was plenty of action, danger, and intrigue to make this book something you can really sink your teeth into. I have to confess that I now have a new addiction, but it’s one I am only too happy to feed. I CAN. NOT. WAIT. for Book #2 to release!!! But, in the meantime I have discovered that Ms. Manetti has quite a few other books that I can devour- so I am off to explore ‘The Twelve Systems Chronicles’ while I wait for the next instalment of this series to release. Cooked: the chef blows her lid by Cari Schaeffer was a super enjoyable read. The main character, Olivia, is a down-on-her-luck chef trying to cope with the hits life is throwing at her. Luckily, she has people that are there for her cheering her on. The romance in the book felt a bit forced and the ending rushed but neither took away from an intriguing, woman-powered story. This is one author that I’m definitely going to be following.

Although I haven’t read the first book, Complicit, in the series I was drawn into this story from page one! The New Mexico setting is easily visualized in the story. Each chapter is from the viewpoint of characters Kate or Tilly. This gives more depth to the plot. When I put this book down, I kept wondering about the characters and what would happen next. I would love to have my own adobe hacienda like the one Kate has in the book! If you like psychological thriller novels, this one won’t disappoint! Cooked: The Chef Blows Her Lid by Cari Schaeffer is a fast paced story packed with adventure, humor and little bit of whit. I truly enjoyed reading this book as with all of her books they are very entertaining and keep you turning the pages. This is a story about Olivia and her not so put together life that the moment. She recently caught her husband cheating on her with who she thought was her best friend and she lost her job. Her life is a bit of a mess at the moment. But she is trying puck up the pieces and is going to try and follow her dreams. Is it way to much or will she overcome the obstacles before she blows her lid? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next I cant wait to see what she brings us next

Definitely giving off prologue vibes, but not in a bad way. I’m not usually one for short reads, but this was done in such a witty and fun way, I truly enjoyed it. I mean, I certainly wouldn’t be disappointed if there were some longer sequels in the books, but I didn’t feel like there was a cliffhanger that I couldn’t recover from after finishing the final page. If anything, I was excited to find a new author to add to my list of favorites. I really got the sense that the whole book was one big parallel metaphor for dating in the real world today. The struggle is real! Maintaining appearances, avoiding predators, worrying about your safety, dodging creeps wanting more than what you had in mind… Don’t hesitate and just read this short story. You won’t be disappointed.

I love this series! The Hunter did not disappoint! I can’t tell you how much I love this author too! Book 2 in the Freemason Series was everything I wanted it to be. Dominic has a mission. That mission is to find out what Gemma wants and stop her from achieving it. One problem is that he wants her. More than he’d care to admit. Gemma is out to take down Lodge Drysor. Her estranged father is dead because of them, or is he? Gemma thinks she has it all figured out. That the Freemason’s are behind the sex trafficking trade. And she intends to prove it. What she doesn’t realize is Lodge Drysor is raising money to protect and stop abductions. Does she realize she’s wrong? Is her late estranged father the real monster? The author put you right where The Victor leaves off. The story she writes for Dominic and Gemma is a huge rollercoaster of challenges, misunderstandings, and obstacles. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series! Again I will say I love this author and if you like romances that have adventures between two characters that take you on a ride check these books out!

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning. Ava is nervous, she is going to ask her husband for a divorce and she’s not sure how he will react. Cole refuses to give her a divorce and actually has plans for her, and when he’s done then he will give her what she wants. Ava has never felt a part of his world, she isn’t into the glitz and glamor. Will she get what she want’s or will her heart decide something else?
Overall I really enjoyed this read and couple. My emotions were all over the place. It took me a bit to warm up to Cole because of his arrogance but he did grow on me. This was an emotional read in spots as the story moved forward. I read this in one sitting and I can’t wait to read more from this series. 1-click and get started today.

I hadn’t read anything by this author yet, but this first book in The Freemasons Series is a fantastic start! It hit me hard and pulled at my emotions throughout the story.
Ava decides that she wants a divorce because it’s time to move on. She hasn’t lived in the same house as Cole for six months and there’s no use in prolonging the inevitable. But when she presents her want for a divorce to him, he tells her no. Taken aback, she hears Cole out and agrees to his terms to work together for one last event. Spending so much time together brings many emotions to the surface for both of them. Will it bring them closer together or drive a wedge even further between them?
I have to say that the flow of this story is wonderful. I was drawn in from the beginning and constantly wondered will they or won’t they? Since reading this, I have been adding books by Nicole Flockton to my TBR list. I can’t wait to see what happens in the rest of the series!

I really enjoyed Elemental Fire. The author put together a wonderful story from start to finish. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s rare that I read an elemental supernatural book, and some have even been hit or miss. This one definitely hit the mark! I even liked the main characters’ names. Unique and different. Sin and Rad what a pair. Sin a human who can see through the veil. Rad a warden of the veil, a fire elemental also known as the flame lord. These two are instantly attracted and intrigued by each other. Besides their attraction, they team up together to achieve a common goal. To stop the HPS from capturing, torturing, and killing the hidden. I don’t think Rad expected the asset that Sin would become, but he knew he had to claim her to protect her. Yet that didn’t prevent Lord Vatap from sending Sin on a mission that could’ve killed her. Also one she had to keep from Rad. How does Rad feel when he finds out? What will Sin do when she finds out Rad claimed her? Do they figure out who was behind the kidnapping of Ciaran? The author wrote a story that keeps you turning pages. Makes you want to know more. It’s not just a sci/fi fantasy but also a romance. So you get a little of everything. Makes me want to read more from this author. Also makes me want to look into more books with elementals as the supernatural being. For you, I suggest you read this one!

The Hunter: An Enemies to Lovers Romance (The Freemasons Book 2)
Dominic is the definition of intimidating and had no problem flexing to show how intimidating he can be. He will do whatever it takes to protect his fellow Freemasons and their secrets even if has to deal with Gemma.
Gemma is determined to expose the Freemasons for what they are, but has no idea what they really are. She learns things aren’t always what they seem.
The tension between them in their first meeting showed me what I can expect from these two and they don’t disappoint.
I’m really looking forward to reading the next book for a few reasons, one is because Jude is the next one to fall and I have a special place in my heart for guys that share my grandson’s name.

The only thing Ava wants from her husband is a divorce. She really wasn’t expecting him to say no to the idea, but he did and now she’s confused.
Cole had waited six months for Ava to come back home and he isn’t ready to let her or their marriage go. In an attempt to keep her close, he hires her to plan a fundraiser and at the end says he will agree to a divorce.
Now working so closely, feelings are rising and they’re forced to face what drove Ava away and kept her there. Is it too late to save their marriage or are they doomed to divorce? Who will be the victor?
This was a fun, sweet and light read. I absolutely adored reading about Ava and Cole and feel connected to the other characters as well. I’m looking forward to reading more in this series and possibly looking into other works from this author.
If you like romance, strong independent characters, and the idea of falling apart in order to fall back together, this is a book for you!

The Victor: A Second Chance Romance (The Freemasons Book 1)
I have read several books by this author and enjoyed each and every one. When I discovered there was a older series I had to start reading it ASAP.
Cole and Ava start us off and they did not disappoint. They hit a rough patch in their marriage very early on and haven’t been together since. Though Cole has a plan to change that.
Ava went through a lot in a very short time. She is ready to move on to the next stage of her life is she can convince Cole that they need to divorce.
Some drama but not as much as I would have anticipated, but there are secrets that cannot be found out.

Elemental Fire (The Hidden Realms Book 1) by E.G. Manetti 5 Stars
I found another author to add to my favourites list. This is the first book that I have read from this author and it surpassed my expectations. I’m so happy that I found it. There was action, danger, adventure and romance. There was the added mystery of trying to slice a crime as well. There was magic and plenty of supernatural beings. They were not your run of the mill werewolves and vampires variety either which made it all the more interesting. I love that the author unfolded the story slowly. It constantly held my attention wanting to know more. I adored Sin and Rad together. Their chemistry was tangible and their connection was real. I loved Sin! She was down to earth, smart and sassy. When her powers awakened, she handled it well. Her not being able to control it, made the story realistic. She is going to become a powerhouse. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Great Story!! The Hunter is Book # 2 in The Freemasons series and I am loving this series. I would recommend reading this series in order as characters in the first book continue into this second book of the series.
Dominic Cacciari will stop at nothing to protect the Freemasonary even if it mean to stop at a journalist, Gemma Hughes, who wants nothing more to expose this organization as she truly believe they are not only responsible for her father’s untimely death but other things as well that are downright bad. Dominic has a plan….feeling like he needs to keep Gemma as close to him as possible even though she has it out for Dominic and his friends to expose what she believes are hard truths. When Gemma is threatened in more ways than one, Dominic will do anything to protect her…or does Gemma believe that Dominic is responsible for the threats against her just to keep her at bay?
This story was fantastic and it flowed so easily and I had a hard time putting this book down. I love Dominic and Gemma together….even though at first I was not a big fan her Gemma’s character at all….but she grew on me and I ended up loving her. I love the details of secrets, lies, a brotherhood of men and some hot sizzling moments….I am looking forward to diving into book # 3.
