Ava wants a divorce, but Cole wont grant her one until after she helps him with his organization fundraiser event. The book was good, flowed well and an easy read.

This is a beautiful and wonderful story that is full of love, loss, sizzling moments and deep secrets. I loved every minute of this book.
When Will Franconi is contacted by a young man about looking at his car collection…Will does not hesitate. He loved the enthusiasm that Jeremy expresses over fast cars….and invites Jeremy for a showing … and also meets Jeremy’s older sister.. Harper. Will is take back by Harper…. But Harper is all business and is Jeremy’s primary care taker. Once Harper let’s her walk slowly come down getting to know Will on a personal level…all Will wants to do is protect and take care of both Harper and Jeremy.
Personal struggle of a dark past… Will finally opens up to Harper…tells her his past…. But will this scare Harper away or love him more?
This story is just wonderful and my heart really ached for both Will and Harper in so many moments…and I look forward to the other books in the series!!

Intriguing quick read
This is an unexpected find. I found the storyline fascinating and even at the end I just wanted to know more. I love the way that the reader gets the closure around the romance between Cole and Ava but the underlying story about the Freemasons is left wide open. My curiosity is piqued and I can’t wait to get my hands on book 2 The Hunter.

This was my first book by this author and hi really enjoyed it! I was drawn to the book because of the main characters culture, but I loved how well written it was! This book takes on family expectations, romance, disappointments in life, and adds a twist of magic. Not only is this book entertaining, it also captures some of the difficulties of being a young adult trying to establish your own lifestyle. I definitely want to read more by this author!

Fighting Chance by Toni Denise

What could possibly go wrong when a journalist on the verge of losing her job who needs a big story to save her career meets a super hot MMA fighter with a secret he wants kept under wraps. You need to read this great book to find out! Kendall and Chad have a connection right from the start, even if neither of them want to admit it, that only gets harder to resist the more they get to know each other. With Chad wanting his true identity kept secret, Kendall’s job definitely throws a spanner in the works but this creative author weaves a fabulous story for us all as we follow these wonderful characters through some very interesting times.
Divided Lives by K.R. Mullins

What an astounding book by K. R. Mullins! Let me just say that if you love her other books from the Notebook Mystery series, then you will totally appreciate reading about the same family but with the main character being Lottie, Emma’s niece. This book is very well-written, and all the feels are in it. The author gives us a bit of background information about the trial of Officer Charles Becker conspiracy trial and sets the stage for a very dramatic story of blackmail, love, crime, family, and betrayal.
Lottie lives in Greenwich village which is known to not follow the mainstream traditions of a big city, but the problem is she is a lawyer for a justice in New York City. So, she must keep her personal life detached or divided from her professional life: so much in fact that while she commutes on her motorbike to work wearing pants but once she arrives at the office she changes into a skirt and adds a clip to her hair so that her short hair is covered and appears to be long hair which was appropriate for women in 1912. From the beginning we see her personal life and her professional life collide as she is blackmailed of pictures with her and her female lover in a compromising situation. Emotions run tense as we find out who is the culprit behind the blackmail and just how many others have been taken advantage of by this lowlife person. With the support of her family and a police officer named Frank, Lottie is saved and can then truly be the person she was meant to be without living a divided life. The characters are easy to love or hate depending on their role in Lottie’s life and the storyline is amazing. The historical information in the book is interesting and really helps set the stage for why a divided life was kept by Lottie and how not all people who wear robes are to be taken at face value. Corruption is in all areas of life and in all sections of the workplace. You must read this book!!!! I just cannot say enough about how wonderful this book really is!!

Family friendly and full of fun!! Ruby isn’t the most outstanding actress and definitely not the star of the show but she sure loves a good mystery and this boxed set does not disappoint!
I am a musical lover and this series of books is such a happy and sometimes hysterical read! The Sound of Murder is a book based on the Sound of Music. Ruby gets to join a travelling troupe and her first real role is underway. What she didn’t expect is that one of her cast mates would be murdered. All of a sudden, Ruby’s focus is on solving the murder of her friend.
West Side Murder is based on the popular West Side Story. Instead of the Sharks and the Jets, we meet the Golfers and the Palmers. The focus of this story is on a murder that takes place in a local retirement community. While Ruby and her troupe are on tour, she finds herself in the middle of yet another mystery.
Little Shop of Murder is such a fun read!! I love all musicals but this one is a definite favorite and this story did not disappoint. Ruby and her troupe are performing “The Little Shop of Horrors” on stage when some things become more real than just acting out parts.
What I love about these books is the way that Ruby remembers details to solve her mysteries. She attributes them to musical numbers. I found myself singing along with her clues! This is a great cozy and clean set of books that will put you in a sing-songy mood for days!

This book was fantastic! This is the second book in the series and takes us deeper into Makayla’s life while attending The Grave Digger Academy. This paranormal series is one that gets you to really sink your teeth in. This year during school, there is a competition. One that the school could use the win to make the school better. If they were to lose, the academy could be shut down. Makayla is on guard, there is someone who wants to take her down. Will she pull off the win or will her academy be closed for good?

Divided Lives by K.R. Mullins is literally everything I love about a wonderfully written Historical Mystery Romance, its loaded with mystery , suspense ,love ,and even a little blackmail. It’s based on actual events that took place in 1912 Greenwich Village. This author continues to blow me away with each book she writes. I get lost in the pages and get so caught up with following what’s going on that I tend to tune everything around me out. Her style of writing flows and her attention to detail along with fully developed characters make for an amazing story. I loved reading about Lottie who is a court clerk by day and at night a completely different person. But what will happen when her two lives collide and she finds herself caught up in a blackmail situation? I highly recommend reading this book to find out. This one is by far my favorite yet and I’ve read several of her books. I look forward to reading many more books by this author.

This is one of my favorite genres and I couldn’t get enough, it was over too fast for me. I was on the edge of my seat right from the beginning. I was excited to finally get Elena and Marco’s story. These two have had feelings for each other for years. But of course Elena was in an arranged marriage. But with a twist Elena ends up fleeing. When they learn that Elena is in danger, Marco goes looking for her. Will he be able to keep Elena safe?
Overall this was a great read with so many twists and turns. I believe this may just be my favorite of the series so far. It can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading from the beginning. I love love loved these two, they were perfect for each other in so many ways.

We get twists and turns and several secrets. Summer was such a great character, she was strong and exactly what Luc needed in his world. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I love how the wives rallied around Summer and supported her so well. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing.
Collateral Damage: A Second Chance Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite Book 6)
Hailey had originally met Trey at a dinner party but something caused him to walk away. We jump ahead and Hailey finds herself in a dangerous predicament. Trey is hired by her step father to find her after she has been taken. Trey finds Hailey and brings her to his home, there is something off about the whole situation and he refuses to let her leave until he figures it out. Having Hailey in his home is making his feelings stir again, there is something about Hailey that is different. The longer they are together the closer they become.
Will Trey be able to help Hailey? Will Trey drop his walls and let Hailey in?
Overall this was a great read. There are several unexpected twists and turns. I loved her best friend but he also got on my list for ghosting her at times. All of the wives were great, I loved how quickly they brought Hailey into their circle.

I really liked Mia and Nico’s story. Mia was a very strong character and when she needed help she went to Nico. Nico is smart and a very dangerous man, he is intrigued by Mia and agrees to help her.
What will happen when her father finds out what she has done? Will Nico be able to protect her?
Overall this was a thrilling edge of your seat read. It felt like there were several stories in one. Several twists and turns and a great cast of secondary characters. The connection between these two grew even hotter as the story went forward. There is so much going on your head will be spinning. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. Another action packed mafia romance that keeps you intrigued from start to finish with great world building, fierce and tough females and strong protective males. The more you read of the series, more and more secrets about the families are exposed. Elena and Marco help uncover some in their story along with uncovering their true feelings for one another. I am excited to continue on to book 5. These books are must reads!!

First off, I am a complete sucker for this series. I absolutely love it. I hope the author keeps writing in this world, maybe a spin off or something. Summer running from one mob striaght into the arms of another one but can she trust Luc even thought he’s on still thinks she’s a spy for another company. This installment follows Luc and Summer from their one night stand to lovers. Read this gem to find out what secrets they uncover.

This is the sixth book of the Mafia Elite series. It Follows Trey and Haileys story and an interesting one at that. With him living two lives one as an amazing sweet doctor and the other as a member of the Mafia which he is not all too fond of since it cost him his first love. Now he has to use those connections to save Hailey from her kidnappers but being who he is, he knows there’s more going on than meets the eye. Will he fight the chemistry between them or give in. You have to read to find out and I highly recommend you do.

Yesss!! After reading the other 6 books in this series I couldn’t wait for the release of this one. I was so excited to go back into the Mafia world she has created and Amy Mckinley did not disappoint 🥰. Just like all the other books I couldn’t put it down. 😭 I’m extremely sad this is the last one of the Mafia Elite series, but i’m excited to start reading more of Amy McKinley’s other work. 😊🙌♥️

Ever since I read the first book in the Mafia elite series, I’ve been a die hard fan of this author and of these books. Every single book is utterly fantastic, full of action, romance, and adventure. I always recommend these books to pretty much everyone I know. Every time I pick one up, I can’t seem to put it down! This author is very good at making her readers get lost in the book, to the point where if its a day I only meant to read like 30 minutes before bed, before I know it, my husband’s already asleep next to me and it’s two in the morning! This author is honestly a word-smith, weaving words into some of the best books I’ve ever read. I cannot recommend these books enough!

I have really grown to be a big fan of this author, or so I thought. It wasn’t until recently that I stumbled across this series. I was happy to learn that even though I picked up several books in, it was easy to follow along the storyline. It read well as a stand-alone. I would be curious to read more from this series and learn more backstory from supporting characters. I felt like the writing is really strong with a fast storyline. Of all things, Summer was my favorite part of this book. She is a strong, likable character. I would definitely recommend this book to others and I look forward to
starting this series from the beginning.

I was really looking forward to reading this book and as of right now, I would call it my favorite in the series. I was really looking forward to read more about Trey, I feel like he is such a multidimensional character with all he’s been through and I have a soft spot for him. I feel like the medical/surgeon aspect has not been done in many (or at least any I’ve read) Mafia novels. As a nurse myself, I’m always drawn to plots or characters involving the medical field. As much as I loved Trey, I feel that Hailey is just as strong and relatable as a character. The book (or series) is a must read. Never short of excitement, strong characters and a stronger plot. I’d strongly recommend this novel.

I love a good mafia romance and the author did not disappoint with this read. This new series by the author gives us the romance of Adrianna and Salvatore. Once these two meet the are drawn to each other and can’t seem to stay apart no matter how hard they try. You will certainly enjoy this story of power, love, loyalty and revenge
Friends with Benies: An AMBW Paranormal Romance by T.B. Bond

It is very witty and fun to read! The charisma of the characters really jumps off the page. I can’t lie. Some of it is hard to follow if you haven’t read the other books. Which I have not. But, I still loved the flow of the book and getting to know the characters.

Issues that even Norse Gods and Goddesses may not be able to help him with. Can Bernard fix what he messed up? Can he find love again? Pick up Return of the Elf Lord and find out.
I fully enjoyed Return of the Elf Lord. It put a great twist on Norse mythology. All characters are relatable, and the details allow the reader to live within their worlds. I would not change a single part of this book.
Overall, Return of the Elf Lord is a must read. It is full of adventure, mystery, twists, and turns. I highly recommend picking this book up.

I personally wish I could give this book 10 stars, I have loved absolutely everything in this series and while this was the fourth installment it did not disappoint. I have now read several things by this author and I am in love, she quickly become one of my top authors and I can’t wait to read more by her. But this mafia romance series is personally my favorite. Once again she brings back our favorite characters, and brings in some amazing new ones. The plot is a crazy emotional roller coaster ride, and what could be better then an enemies to lovers troupe? Elena and Marco have always been attracted to each other, but since Elena is arranged to marry someone else aren’t their hands tied? But their might be a chance for Elena to escape and make a new life for herself, buy what will happen when she succeeds and Marco has to find her before she’s killed? Will Marco be able to save her? Will they get to be together in the end? You’ll have to read this amazing story to find our for yourself. I personally can’t wait for more.
This is the fifth of installment and I incredibly wish that I could give this book more then five stars. Like the previous four installments this book is full of romantic suspense, intrigue, mafia politics, tension, chemistry, and so much more that you will be gripped from page one until the very end. Much like the other books this book’s couple had their issues, but the tension between them was so great that I couldn’t put it down. This book really follows Luc and Summer through their whole relationship but will they finally get the happily ever after they deserve? You’ll have to read this fantastic installment to find out.
Our favorite author has done it again. This is the sixth installment to this wonderful series and just like the previous installments I couldn’t put it down. Full of action, drama, plot twists, and of course romance, this author blows me pit of the water everytime. While I have read this entire series, this book can be read as a standalone. However I must admit that this aeries is so great that why stop at one when you can read the whole series.
Our favorite author has done it again. This amazing novel is the 7th installment in this wonderful series, and per usual I simply could not put it down. While this novel can be read as a stand alone just like the previous six, I would highly recommend reading the whole series because it’s just that amazing. Full of suspense, drama, action, romance, and more this novel is by far one of the best books I have read all year. So whether you’re looking for a great new mafia romance or your looking for a great new series, make sure you read this book next.

LAB SPILL: A Dark Comedy. Maybe. is the second book in The Cool Thing series. I recommend reading the first book in this series before this one. When I thought the story couldn’t get wilder, the story was continued. This has more twists and turns, fun dialogue, and more. I enjoy the author’s sense of humor and how it is used in the story. For example, I never would think slime could be a character in a story but guess what it can be! If you like a fun, out-of-this-world read then grab this series. I will give look out for more from this author in the future.

Divided Lives is a historical fiction tale set in early 20th New York. I have read books by this author before and was intrigued by the blurb about the story. I enjoy stories set in 19th-century Britain but this did not disappoint. Lottie works as a court clerk and wants to keep her professional, and personal life separated. As she becomes embroiled in a high-profile court case, this separation becomes more difficult.
I liked that the author’s information about a real court case during this time period made the story all the more interesting. I enjoyed learning about Lottie. She is intelligent and multi-faceted. I hope that there are more books to continue Lottie’s story. I can imagine that they would be quite interesting.
Hungry Business by Maria DeBlassie

How hard is it to find a date with a beating heart? That is just one of the many things our herione questions in this short story. Hungry Business is a very fast read as it’s less than 20 pages.
I really enjoyed how despite the dark world around her the main character still held onto her hopeless romantic beliefs and continued to go out on dates trying to make a connection. The funny quips that can be translated to any dating world like, (he only wants me for my body) we’re also very entertaining. I’d love it if this was the start of a series, because I think dating in a world filled with hungries (Zombies) is a very intriguing idea. I hope Maria DeBlassie continues to write about this world and all its possibilities as she definitely has a unique storyline started here in this well written short story.

The author has hit it out of the park with this continued series. I can not get enough of this tight knit group of Italian mafia family friends. Elena has been in hiding for so long. At the end of the last book, her secret came out that she was still alive. The family went nuts. Now things have gotten too dangerous with the Russian mafia that she has to be found. Who will find her first? The Russians or the Italians? This book had so many shocks for Elena that your heart will be pulled in so many directions. If you have read the previous books, this is a must read for sure. The author brings these characters to life in each book, you feel like you would want to be friends and know them. Amazing writing.

I love this Series. If you have not read it. I highly recommend it. Mafia, murder, love, sex, crime, kidnapping…. What more could you want. You will be drawn into this book from the moment you meet Summer and then not long after Luc. This twisted tale will keep you on pins and needles. I couldn’t put this down. Luc and Summer have a very complicated connection that only deepens as the story continues. I had to look and see if there was a next book. YES, there is. I can’t wait.

Oh my Goodness, I absolutely love this series. In this 5th book, the story revolves around Trey and Hailey. Hailey has always been second best in life and took to hiding in the background as much as possible. Trey, the sauve sexy doctor/ mafia man is trying to get over the death of his coffee shop girlfriend Teressa. Trey and Hailey are thrown together by unforeseen circumstances. This book will keep you reading long into the night or will be read in one day. I could not put it down. All our favourite characters are still in this story which draws you in even more. I hope this series never has to end.

Love this series. This book did not disappoint as it gave so much action and suspense right off the first few pages. I was hooked. The story of Nico and Mia. Mai is from the New York Mafia and Nico is an underboss of the Chicago syndicate. When Mia finds her way to Nico, will he take her up on her request for protection? Everything lies in Nico’s hands. Surprise after surprise in this story. You will be glued to every page. I just can’t get enough of these characters and how they intermingle.

This is one of the best short stories I’ve ever read. In the short amount of time you spend in this world, it’s a vivid nightmare of living and fighting the hungry as well as the isolation it brings. It’s dark, twisted, full of gore, and still left you wanting more. I wish we knew what happened after the ending with the man across the way! This author does a phenomenal job; I look forward to reading her other materials soon.
