I know the biblical account of what happened when the veil ripped and I knew that this story was going to be about when that happened. I didn’t realize that was all it was going to be about. In reading the description, I thought that this would be like other biblically inspired fictional books that are centered around a certain time and events in the bible, but that included fictional characters with their own story and lives and how the events in the bible affected them etc. Instead, this book was basically just like reading it from the bible, just worded a little differently. This just isn’t my kind of story. If you just want to read the same story about the veil ripping, but from a fictional characters perspective, you will probably enjoy this book. It is well written. Just know that there is no story beyond what the bible already tells us.
