If I Had a Magic Wand by Melissa Lavi is a 5 star children’s book. My mother bought my children a book a couple years ago titled something like, If I Could Keep You Little and this book, while different, had a similar comforting feel to it. My mother recently passed so I cherish this book’s similarities a lot. If I Had a Magic wand really illustrates what any parent, or adult in general, wants for a child in their life… love, happiness, kindness, the list goes on. The illustrations in this book are as beautiful as the well wishes too. A great addition to any bedtime story shelf!
