Snow In Love is a great Christmas romance novella that I really enjoyed reading. It was my first time reading this author so was unsure what to expect from this book. I’m glad I took a chance on it as it’s definitely worth a read.
Although short at 100 pages, the author manages to pack a great deal of content in to make it an enjoyable read that keeps you engaged from beginning to end.
I really enjoyed reading about the 2 main characters Sienna and Connor. Being the golden princess of paralympic skiing you’d expect her to be a bit of a dive, but she’s far from it. Connor was the playboy motocross rider before his accident and is now a totally changed man in many ways and I really engaged with his character as he tried to make himself a better person.
I have to admit that I really wanted to slap Sienna’s mother and give her father a good shake. My heart broke for how Sienna was treated.
This is a great Christmas romance and I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

This is the first murder mystery book that I have ever read. I was surprised by the murder I was following. I had thought it was the one I started off reading then the story took a turn, and it ended up connected. I surprised myself by being able to read this one because of the old writing but I pushed through it. I wanted to see who really committed the murder then I couldn’t put it down. If you are ready for a murder mystery then this is the book for you, I really hope the author gives us more to the story to find out about the love stories that are brewing.

OH MY GOSH THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!! I am obsessed with mafia romances and this book was so wonderfully written I cannot put into words just how amazing it was! It started off with the main characters meeting while giving CPR to a patron in the restaurant and then from there the chaos ensued! Literally the tones of the book were amazing, and I could not wait to read the book when I would be on my lunch breaks or finally at home where I could read until my eyes could not read anymore. There were lots of twists and turns in this book that LITERALLY had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was to happen next! I cannot wait to read the other books in the series once they come out and to tell my friends about this! I think I just found my new favorite author!!

This was just the holiday romance that I needed to read to really get in the spirit of Christmas! I love the fact that this was a book about characters that are in the Paralympics and that it really gave insight into their preparations/thoughts about the competition. I have not read a book that highlighted characters that both are overcoming body differences compared to others. I found myself devouring this book on my breaks and lunches when I was at work. I even found myself wondering what would happen next in the story and daydreaming of different scenarios. I cannot wait to read more books by this wonderful author!!

Snow in Love is a delightful holiday romance. This is a quick read but a well-thought-out story. Sienna and Connor are one of those couples you want to see succeed. The two meet on the slopes, but immediately I wanted it to develop into more. The characters contrast each other nicely. I always enjoy a holiday romance story, and this did not disappoint. I recommend this book if you need a quick getaway and to get in the holiday spirit. I look forward to checking out more from this author in the future.

This was my first book that I have ever read by K.G. Fletcher and she did not disappoint. I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump with romance, but I thought I’d take a shot with this story.
Growing up on a farm, and now running a farm myself I was a bit skeptical about the writing in this book and if everything would be accurate (a pet peeve of mine). But, K.G. Did not disappoint at all. She was accurate in a majority of her story, which makes me very happy as a reader and a farmer!
But, I should also focus on the romance in this story, which plays a big part in this book. You easily fell in love with every single character. They were just so easy going and lovable. Every single problem the two main love interests, Teddy and Robyn, they overcame together. They didn’t turn their backs on each other, but they worked together. If that doesn’t melt your heart, I don’t know what would!
I can’t wait for book 2!!

I actually had more fun with this book than i thought i would. We are following PI Jorja who was asked to look into a death by the victims daughter as she believes his death was no accident. As Jorja does this mostly as a favor to a friend, we are taken on a crazy ride with a lot of twists and a lot of connections that take a lot of hard work to unfold and figure out. This was exciting enough to keep me interested but my heart wasnt pounding out of my chest with anticipation which i enjoyed the less intense thrill this book gave me. I read it pretty fast casue i wanted to see how it all ended up making sense in the end. Jorja was a great female lead and there was even small glimpses at romance and other life situations so that was fun. Overall a good read.

A fun holiday read that I finished in a day! The main characters are both athletes training for the Paralympics at a ski lodge that is closed for a remodel. Connor had to have a partial amputation after a motocross accident and Sienna was born with only a partial leg. They are thrown together to train over Christmas before the big race. Karl is coaching them on the slopes and they get to know each other in the lodge where they open up to each other and learn that they are more than their reputations. The lodge sounds like an amazing place to escape, spend a holiday, and cozy up around the fire. The characters are both struggling to find themselves and are not sure if they can trust each other but there are sparks from the first meeting. I will be looking at more from the author because I loved the quick read!

This is the first book that I have read by Laikyn Meng. I found the cover interesting and the synopsis original and decided to give it a try. With so little multicultural romances out there it was interesting to find one so unique. Phoebe is a nature photographer. Kenzo is her boyfriend that loves traveling with her for her job.
From the first page the author pulls at your heart strings for Phoebe. Growing up her family was very cold, and didn’t show affection, the first time she felt happy she also felt sad. She was between the ages of eight and eleven, unsure because she didn’t always get a birthday celebration every year. While at her aunt’s house in Texas for the summer she would watch a neighbor girl wait on the front porch for her grandfather, and after several minutes of hugging each other, they would leave. In those moments she realized for the first time that there were other types of families out there, loving families. Phoebe for the first time wanted something that she didn’t have. At the age of sixteen she left home for the first time finding her passion for photography and being told for the first time that it was more than just a hobby and was paid for her beautiful pictures. She was older now, loving her work and her boyfriend but the echoes of the happiness she once felt weren’t always enough. Kenzo never thought he would be the kind of guy to fall in love and settle down, until he suddenly was willing to do anything, even jump into the murky waters of the Everglades National Park in Florida to retrieve Phoebe’s first camera that had fallen in the water. With time all things change, “Only remember the Good Echoes.”
Will Phoebe and Kenzo find their ways back to each other? Are the echoes enough to keep the spark going? The world the author created in National Parks was beautiful, while the time jumps sometimes made it difficult to keep up with what was past and present the book flowed like the rivers of Nepal. I look forward to reading more of the amazing works by Laikyn Meng in the future.

This was a really good book! While the mystery was fairly predictable in my opinion, it was well written and enthralling enough to catch my attention and hold it. I enjoyed the characters and I felt like the author did a good job keeping it historically accurate while also making the book easy to read. It didn’t feel like a quick read to me, but nevertheless I still enjoyed it and will definitely be checking out more books from this author in the future!

This story sticks with you long after finishing it and tugs at every emotion you have. I was blown away by this book which was pleasantly surprising because I hadn’t heard of the author before. I am beyond happy I decided to pick this up and give them a chance. You will get to know Phoebe and Enzo throughout this second-chance romance. It’s not a walk in the park by any means, so please heed the trigger warning that the author kindly put up. Even through the heartbreak I was rooting for them, the author did a phenomenal job creating this world. I am watching this author intently now as I want to read anything they put out. You won’t be disappointed, please give this book a chance to engage you in an emotional rollercoaster!

Book two of the “Quirk of Destiny” trilogy was mind blowing. Based on a post apocalyptic world, genetically modified food has greatly reduced the world’s population and caused the humans to agree to no longer eat animal based foods. On the other hand, the newly gene-mutated diseased humans, also known as “Genies”, are attempting to make a grab for power.

The author did an impressive job with this work of fiction that has a creepy twist of possible truths hidden within it. It also is a great adventure with a good vs evil storyline. It is a refreshing take on a fictional tale with wonderfully compelling characters and riveting story building. What a great addition to this series and I think readers will thoroughly enjoy it.

Much Ado About Dying is the second book in this fantasy series by Rowan Day. As with the first book it is full of danger, tension, fear and uncertainty, sorrow and hope, pain and action and adventure. There are many unique and colourful characters to try to keep track of. This one revolves around Róisín and her need to put herself in peril to battle with an ancient god. If she doesn’t then the plagues will kill everyone if the god doesn’t kill her first. Much Ado About Dying is set in the beautiful lands of Ireland which made it easy to imagine having visited there.
Unfortunately it’s not just the formidable god Róisín faces but she is also in the sight of extremists who want to see her and the Unhidden annihilated. The Unhidden are still struggling to learn what they have become and their new abilities and powers and to stay alive.
This is a fast paced tale and once you get to know the vast characters, their complexities and the world Rowan has created it is easy to become invested. There is still a lot of over information which does bog you down at times and stilts the pace but it is still an intriguing story.
I wonder where Rowan takes the story next.

Please please please make sure you read these trigger warnings. This is my first read by this author and she absolutely hit the feelings and emotions button with me. I do wish the writing flowed together a bit more. Some of the ideas seemed smashed together. However, that doesn’t take away from this second chance romance. We are met with Enzo & Phoebe and takes place over quite a long time period. Stick it out though this is worth a read. But again, please with how this starts out, check the trigger warnings.

This book about the daily conflicts between siblings might open the door to initiating conversations about problem solving and discussing appropriate solutions. The most important talking point might be to make sure everyone is  continuing to enjoy the game.

This book is a brilliant continuation from the first book in the series. It really hits the ground running, picking up two years after the events I’m book one. I work highly recommend reading these in order so you can get the full amount of detail.
As with the first, this book is well written and indepth. So much happens across the span of the book and it was just as easy to become invested in these characters as it was before. I really enjoyed seeing the direction the author took the book in and I can’t wait to see where it concludes.

The first thing I want to point out is that there is a trigger warning on this book and that it is very valid. However, this is definitely a must read book. Every once in a while I read a book that stays with me long past the end of the book. The kind of book that lingers in your soul, leaves you thinking about the characters well after it ends. The kind of book that makes you look at humanity just a little bit differently. This is one of those books. Phoebe and Enzo are wonderfully broken characters who felt so human, so real. I wanted to reach out and touch them. I felt this story so deeply I cried at several points throughout. I definitely encourage everyone to read it!

This is my first K.G. Fletcher book and I have to say that it was absolutely amazing! It is a beautiful love story that portrays how the choices we make impact us. It takes place six years after Teddy has been incarcerated for a crime he did not commit. I believe that the book does an excellent job portraying the changes in not only Teddy, but in his family and most importantly in the woman he loved when he went away. I enjoyed watching the evolution of Teddy and those close to him once they are all reunited. The author did a beautiful job making everyone’s emotions almost palpable off the page. I definitely think that this is a must read and I am looking forward to enjoying more books by K.G. Fletcher in the future.

I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself! I start reading a book only later to discover it is part of a series. I think I can read just the one but these authors must be Lays because you can’t read just one. This book had me feeling all the feels. I wanted to shake Beckett several times and ask him what the heck he was thinking but it turns out he absolutely was thinking about Andie.

Beckett has been the bad boy of hockey for a long time and while his career has taken minor hits, it has not been truly affected due to his antics. Until now. One mistake, one night he can’t forget. It will cost him everything and almost everyone. As Beckett is trying to right the sinking ship that is his life, he has a chance encounter with a blast from the past.

Paige is moving in the right direction. Her company is growing. She has new opportunities popping up almost everyday. She is in a loving marriage. Or so she thought until one phone call proves that she doesn’t know her husband after all. Paige has started a friendship with Beckett. Andie, as Beckett calls her, knows that friendship is all it can ever be because Beckett is and has always been a player. After being burned by her now ex-husband, Paige won’t take the chance on someone that will end up breaking her heart. There is so much more to this decision that Paige can’t admit to herself, starting with the strained relationship with her mother.

Throughout the friendship between Beckett and Andie, Beckett changes. They really get to know each other. Andie helps Beckett understand the errors of his ways. Beckett helps Andie push her limits. When Beckett realizes that he wants more will Andie agree?

This story was abso-effing-lutely fabulous. I am so in for the rest of this series. The chemistry between Andie and Beckett was electric. The characters are real. Beckett and Andie each face their own demons in such realistic ways. I am hooked. Bring me more hockey players and the strong women that love or might love them.

I chose this book for the name thinking it was a twist on the classic Beauty and the Beast, and even though it wasn’t completely, I enjoyed it so much! I’ve been reading a lot of mafia books by Amy McKinley in the past year and a half or so, and even though it wasn’t by her, it was just as fantastic as all of them have been.

This book is the fifth of the series but I was able to enjoy it without having read the other books first. I enjoyed the story a lot, the flashbacks that pop up throughout made me want to not put it down, because it made me need to know more about ‘Beast’ and his haunted past. I love the connection that he forges with Annika, and how she is able to show him that it is what lies beneath the surface that matters more. Can’t wait to read more by this author!

I love this book, every page has suspense and thrillers. When Raine the Shadow Guardian united with Will Decker the FBI Agent, I was like this is the next level of human and non-human romance. Raine shows the courage that a female needs to have to fight her demons. Will is the guy that the world needs to protect those who don’t have any clue about what is going on.
Amazing job on the characters and the twist and plots love it. Can’t wait to get the #2 book.

Even though the title says it was going to be angsty I didn’t expect it to be so heartfelt. If you want to travel around beautiful landscapes and have all your feelings hit you at once you should definitely give this book a try.

I’ve always loved stories of second chances, and this one certainly did not let me down.

Robyn believed in love and believed in righteous justice. But when she saw the man she loved being pushed into a corner and get sentenced for a crime he didn’t commit, she leaves her dreams of being a law student in the dust.

Teddy is a good man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and ended up serving prison time for the crime he didn’t commit. He’s been gone for years, but his love for Robyn has never died, no matter how much he pushed it down and tried to forget about it.

Read this beautiful story of second chances to see where the love of Robyn and Teddy will go!!!

This was such a cute children’s book and one my little boy really enjoyed – he loves cats so I knew it would be a hit! The illustrations were great and really engaging. The storyline is really easy to follow and certainly gets children imaginations going as they try to think of how to rescue the kitten from the tree along with Caspian and his Grandpa.
This author has such a wonderful imagination and her creative stories definitely capture the interest of children and engage them well in her stories.

This was such a lovely Christmassy read and one that I really enjoyed. It was really well written and engaging. I loved the characters Sienna and Connor, they both had their own issues to overcome but also something in common that brought them together. They really did have a genuine connection. I really did feel this genuine connection with the characters and I really came to care about them – I genuinely was rooting for them the whole way through. I felt for Sienna at times with her overpowering Mother.
Overall this was a lovely story and one that I would highly recommend. I will definitely be looking forward to reading more from this author again in the future.
