The Sneaky Kitten (Invisible Magic Wand Book 4) by Lois Wickstrom – Review by Donya Pedigo

The Sneaky Kitten: Invisible Magic Wand Book FourThe Sneaky Kitten: Invisible Magic Wand Book Four by Lois Wickstrom
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is the 4th book in the Invisible Magic Wand Series. Though it can be read as a standalone book, it would add context to the story if you read the other books in the series. I really enjoy Lois Wickstrom’s writing and have read several books by them to my family. As always, the colorful images help guide the reader through Caspian’s adventure. These imaginative stories not only help a child to use their imagination but to also try and figure out ways to solve problems in everyday life.

What would you do if you saw a kite in a tree? Well, Caspian decides to go get his magical hot chocolate socks that Grandpa had given him for his unbirthday. Using those “magic” socks, Caspian starts on an adventure where he follows a cat that might not just be your average cat after all. This is a cute, fun read that might take a little more imagination than some of the other books in the series as it’s a little harder to see how things correlate. That being said, I think it’s just another way to get children to see just how far their imagination can go. I can’t wait for more books from this author.
