Skye is his best friend, his brother (no in blood) little sister. Gabe knows she’s off limits but he can’t help to regret walking away that night, that kiss Skye has been in love with Gabe since she was 16.
Another steamy read by this author. Second in a series. I did read the first but you could probably get away with reading as a stand alone

Handle with Care is the first book in a new series Chase Care. It is a spin off from one of my favourite series Chase Security series which I love, love, love. After reading this book I am just as in love with the characters and can’t wait to see where the rest of the series goes. This story is not for the feint hearted. It is a fast paced, medical romance thriller that will have your heart pumping and you on the edge of your seat. It is a tale that feels all so real with the current pandemic and what could be. As the pages turn there is plenty of action, the tension is palpable, the fear is real and there is danger is around every corner. It is a world turned upside down where revenge seems sweet, redemption seems impossible and love is a complication. These brave and heroic men and women know what they are walking into and are willing to put their lives on the line to save others in the most selfless act. BUT can they save them all including themselves? I am not going to ruin the story with spoilers as it is one of those stories that you need to discover thread by thread that RL carefully wove all on your own. As always, I look forward to the next book Tender Loving Care (Seth and Poppy’s story) with bated breath.

I enjoyed reading this suspenseful romance story. This is the first book in this author’s new series. I have enjoyed this author’s stories from the first one I picked up. I enjoy her writing skills as well as her attention to details that make her characters pop. This book is no different. This is a well written story where the characters bring the story to life and take me on a journey of romance and suspense. I enjoyed how the characters were connectable which made them pull me in from the first word. They have great growth and chemistry throughout the story. You don’t want to miss the twists and turns that had me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. This is a fast paced, engaging, full of action story that is hard to put down. What a great start to a new series and I look forward to reading the next book. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Danika walks into Savages office to give a piece of her mind in regard to her baby sister. She doesn’t expect the instant reaction she has to him. Savage is completely caught off guard by his immediate desire for Dani, but he has some lingering secrets. Despite the heat between them, will those secrets keep them apart? Very steamy read.
Married Blind is available now in Paperback and eBook ⭐️⭐️⭐⭐️ Book Review
Meet the Author: Morgana Bevan is a sucker for a rock star romance, particularly if it involves a soul-destroying breakup or strangers waking up in Vegas. She’s a contemporary romance author based in Wales. When Morgana’s not writing steamy rock star and movie star romances, she is working in TV production in the UK.
Synopsis: Married blind is the second book in the King of Screens series. Abi is a devoted sister, working three jobs to help pay her sisters medical bills. When her sister became ill she promised to stand by her side. When given the opportunity to go on a reality TV show for three months for income, it’s a no brainer. Finn, needing a chance to improve his image following some previous relationship shenanigans, agrees to take part in the reality show, but not without cost to the producers.
Reader’s Thoughts: This forced proximity, marriage of convenience, Hollywood romance is full of witty banter, tension, spice, and flirty fun. Although this is the second book within the series, it can be read as a standalone with no negative effect on the story line. The characters are relatable and lovable. If asked to pick a favorite character, I couldn’t pick just one. I enjoyed Abi and Finn equally for different reasons. When all was said and done they truly did make the perfect couple. The story line was a little far-fetched for my liking and I felt as if I knew the outcome from the very beginning. Despite this little hiccup, it would not deter me from recommending this fun read to a friend. I’m interested to see what is in store for book number three.

I thoroughly enjoyed each book in this series, and ‘binge read’ this collection having been hooked from page one. Each story is about a different member of the Hawke family, and should be read in order, so as to fully understand and enjoy the storylines. I liked how the main characters were recurring throughout the series, and enjoyed ‘catching up’ with those who’s story had already been told. The wonderfully detailed descriptive narrative brought both the characters and the setting vividly to life, making me feel fully immersed in the Hawke family’s world. The storyline and plot twists and turns have kept me happily turning the pages, completely gripped. I was desperate to read the next book in the series as soon as I had finished the previous one! I remained captivated by the Hawke family and their world throughout all six books. Each book had amazing world building, atmospheric settings, wonderful main characters and supporting ones, plenty of drama and suspense, and of course romance. The romance did lead to some steamy scenes, and the chemistry between each couple sizzled off the page. Each main character was very well defined and their relationships developed in each book. This collection is an entertaining and engaging read, and I am sad to be leaving the Hawke family behind. However, I am glad that I have read it and definitely recommend reading all six books.

I am absolutely floored by the sheer genius of how this author flawlessly delivers this collection. I read quite a bit, and this is by far the best collection I have read in SUCH a long time. I picked it up by chance but I could not be happier about my choice. I was completely and utterly absorbed in these stories from page one until the very last word. Gwyn McNamee seamlessly blends each story together with plenty of steamy scenes, suspenseful action, and romance.
Savage Collision started the collection off and gave me a glimpse of what I was getting into (hint: it was amazing) After reading about Savage and Dani, I dove straight into Tortured Skye without any hesitation at all. I loved the beautifully written damaged hero and their forbidden romance.
I feel like the author picks up and continues the Hawke family stories so well with the third and fourth books in the series, Stone Sober, and Building Storm. As with the previous two, there are plenty of steamy scenes and drama abound, so buckle up! Stone Sober took me a minute to warm up to because the sibling drama threw me for a bit, but once I got further into the story, I fell in love again (no surprise). Gwyn does such an exquisite job creating not just a story to read but characters whose lives you feel part of while you’re reading. Building Storm is an incredible second-chance romance that will give you all the hope, but of course has all the drama that this author builds so well!
These shorter but equally astounding reads bring the Hawke Family Collection to an end. While I’m sad to end such an incredibly wonderful series, I am beyond happy to have found this author and the Hawke Family. I will definitely be following Gwyn McNamee in the future to see what other magical journey she has for us. Tainted Saint brings more pieces to the puzzle and though it is a quicker read, you’ll still love to see what drama and heat happens here! Steele Resolve brings everything to the close where you’ll get a resolution whether you like it or not. I loved every little bit of these books. Pick up the entire collection and save yourself the time of thinking on it, you will fall head over heels for all of them!
Sometimes you stumble upon a series and you wonder where it has been your whole life. You can’t read it fast enough and yet you also do not want it to end. The Hawke Family is that series. Each book gets better than the last. These characters have so much depth to them and there is so much drama that it keeps the pages turning. Plus they are so very steamy. They are so good, I definitely recommend them, especially if you are looking for a new series that won’t disappoint!

Madame Elinor Chalamet is knee deep in murder, mystery, and ghosts again after being invited to attend the Winter Revel being held in Vouvont. All she wants to do is relax and enjoy the delicious foods being prepared by some of the best chefs around. Instead of enjoying her holiday, Madame Chalamet finds herself face to face once again with the Duke de Archambeau, Tristan Fontaine, and his overbearing mother and sister who criticize her every chance they get.
Madame Chalamet tries to make the best of her holiday and uses her ghost talker powers to help a young girl in a bake shop with her ghostly brother as well as a widow who has her husband’s ghost attached to her. When someone tries to poison the king, Madame Chalamet attempts to solve the mystery but finds herself instead working with the Duke de Archambeau who has taken it upon himself to solve the mystery of the attempted murder of the king.
This was Book 2 in the Madame Chalamet Ghost Mysteries series and builds on the story from the first book. In the first book we are introduced to Madame Chalamet, her sidekick Charlotte laRue, the Duke de Archambeau, and the Duke’s sister and mother, Lady Valentina, and the Duchesse de Chambaux. Lady Valentina and the Duchesse de Chambaux do not think highly of Madame Chalamet or what she does for a living. Madame Chalamet does not live up to their ideals or fall into the same social class as they do and is therefore beneath them.
Book 2 builds on the romantic tension between Madame Chalamet and the Duke de Archambeau. Both try to ignore any attraction to the other because they are from two different social classes and a relationship between them is forbidden. This book is action packed from the beginning with murder, mystery, mayhem, ghosts, suspense, and even a bit of humor. I loved learning more about our beloved characters from the first book and about who they are as well as their strengths and weaknesses. I loved both the historical and the paranormal aspects of the story. This book was very well written, and I cannot wait to read the third book in the series!

What a fantastic read filled with such wonderful characters who have so much heart! Charles, Jordan and Alex are real playboys who spend their summer break relaxing and having sex, sex and more sex! They know things will be very different this year when Charles must bring his 4 month old baby daughter with them and his stepsister becomes his nanny! They are all attracted to the beautiful Stella and must decide how to handle that. Add in new found attractions within their own friendships and life is about to get very complicated but oh so interesting. This fabulous book will keep you captivated from start to finish! oh and a piece of advice…keep a cold drink and fan handy you will NEED IT!!! LOL I can’t wait to read more books by this truly talented and creative author.

I really enjoyed the Chase Security series by this author and was excited when I saw that she had done a spin off series, this time focusing on doctors. As with her other books I found myself engaging with this story immediately. I liked that this book felt like it was part of the same world as the other series but had a different feel to it due to the different focus of the characters. And it was nice that the main basis of the story was the romance, it felt like there was so much more going on. The characters were instantly relatable. I enjoyed their story and getting to learn about their past. The author has done an amazing job with this book and I already cannot wait to see what the rest of the series holds.

This is the entire saga of the Hawke family and everything that is entailed behind the scenes. The emotions of this family from start to finish is amazing. This author absolutely nailed it with this! I will absolutely be reaching for more by her. As always check trigger and content warnings. The final novella was my absolute favorite and she never let me down. She absolutely makes you feel every raw emotion and feeling.
I enjoyed this book. It was fast paced and there was some really interesting plotlines in it. I enjoyed the medical part a little more than I did the romance parts of the story. I would be interested to read others in the series. I definitely would pick up another book by this author.

These books definitely didn’t disappoint one bit! Gwyn put as much into these books as she did in Night Hawke. I seriously found myself reading these books every chance I had…these books were 100%-page turners! I found myself lost in not only the steamy parts of the book, but the mystery and back story as well. Gwyn has a talent for creating in-depth story plotlines and characters with intriguing skill! And yes, there is a lot of steamy scenes, but what I really enjoyed is that it is not purely sex-filled romance, but there was plenty of action and suspense, which really created deeper stories.
Savage Collision: Savage….what a name…and what a man! Gwyn has a way of describing a beautiful character with a kind soul, but of course is described to be as hot as a man can be! But with every kind soul, there’s a past lingering its ugly face in the background…and Savage has to deal with that and more!
Savage is introduced to a woman named Dani…has Savage met his match when it comes to Dani? Is Dani falling for Savage…will their relationship work out beyond “friends”…there’s only one way to find out and that is to read the book yourself! I promise you…this is a page turner that you will not want to put down!
Tortured Skye:
The second book in the Hawke Family Series, and it was as good as the first book! Gwyn may honestly be one of my new favorite authors! This book was well written and didn’t lack in anything! Skye and Gabe are the two main characters in the second book, and there were times when the author had me wondering how these two were ever going to connect! But like the other books I have read by Gwyn…she magically found a way to bring everything together! She writes with such detail and has this way of creating world’s that you can easily find yourself lost in!
I really enjoyed Gabe and his story, his journey was a unique one, and Skye just adds to the plot! There’s emotion, attraction, passion, and so much more! I hope that you find yourself as lost in the books as what I was!
Wow!!!!…. really, I mean wow! Once again, Gwyn has not disappointed one bit! In a way I think that the series has gotten even better in these two installments. The author has upped her game even more by providing intriguing, page-turning storylines. Like any good family dirt…there are secrets that run deep in the first two books, and more secrets are revealed in these next two books, which really helped suspense and the world building!
Stone Sober: This one was interesting and had a darker vibe than the others. Stone is introduced to a woman named Nora, and the two of them find that they are drawn to each other, but there’s one problem…they are not at all alike. There are plenty of secrets, darkness and just the overall unknown that creates tension that keeps you turning the page to find out more and to try to learn more about Stone and Nora!
Building Storm:
Storm finds herself in a unexpected situation and is trying to piece her life back together after what can only be described as losing it all. She has to try to be strong because she has her daughter to look after and is trying her best to live life through all of the pain that she has endured! She isn’t looking for love but lo and behold, apparently love has found her! And the hardest thing for Storm is that she has been through so much, that she doesn’t even realize that love has found her! Landon McCabe is looking for a fresh start after being a man on the run. He figures why not start fresh in New Orleans…nothing can go wrong there…right?! Well let’s just say that Landon and Storm find themselves both coming from broken situations and have no idea that the healing compound is each other! You must read in order to find out what else goes on between Storm and Landon!
Like all things…. the series has come to an end with these last 2 books, I’m sad to see this series come to an end, but it was definitely entertaining while it lasted! Gwyn built a wonderful world, with amazing characters that all had unique characteristics and backstories that truly captivates the reader. Gwyn didn’t disappoint with these last 2 books and gave it the proper ending without leaving you thinking what if or that’s it!
Tainted Saint: This book was a shorter read than the previous 4 books but was still satisfying and entertaining. It was nice that Gwyn made sure that all of the characters from the previous stories continued to find their way into each book….and this book was no different! There were familiar characters, romance, steaminess, mystery and secrets!
Caroline is introduced in this book, and she has found out that she has an eye for Saint, a bouncer of one of the clubs. Does Caroline also catch Saint’s eye or is she in for a rude awakening? Gwyn didn’t go as in depth with this story, but she still continues to provide the reader with a story that has plenty of twists and turns!
Steele Resolve:
When I say I didn’t expect an ending like that…I mean it was truly unexpected, but still a satisfying ending to an amazing series! We met Byron in the first book of the series and wonder what happened to him? Well Gwyn waited until the last book to bring Byron back as a main character, and it was worth the wait! He has been featured as an amazing loyal and enjoyable supporting character, but I was glad to see that he got his own story in the series!
This book would be considered another quick read, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t full of emotion and suspense! Steele…is she good for Byron, is she bad for Byron? Does poor Byron even know which way he needs to go…will his heart win or will it be his family that gets the last laugh? This story takes us on an adventure with Byron and his journey of who he is.
I’m sad that the series is over, but I can’t complain with how Gwyn ended it. It was well thought out and very entertaining! All I can say is Happy Reading!

The Hawke Family books each focus on a different member of the Hawke family and their romantic interest – this can sometimes put me off a series if the underlying story suffers as a result, but I can assure you that this is not the case with this collection. I really enjoyed how the ongoing story continued throughout the books and was written in a way that made the books flow well as a series whilst ensuring that it didn’t detract from the romances (and vice versa!). I was initially concerned that the stories would end up being very similar and blur into one, but they were certainly unique, and each kept me gripped to the end! The characters each had differing motivations, ways in which they overcame challenges and interactions with others, and this left me falling in love with all of them as their stories unraveled. They were well written, and it was great to witness events from both sides lending a greater understanding to their building relationships and actions. These easy and enjoyable reads are considered romance novels but there is also danger throughout which go well together and flow nicely. I would recommend this collection to anyone who loves a steamy romance but also enjoys elements of action and suspense. I read these back-to-back unwilling to put them down so I can’t wait for the second-generation books to all be released so I can dive into those but in the meantime, I will be reading other books by this author!
I know I have said this time and time again BUT this series is so amazing you wont regret a single second spent reading it! This truly talented author has created wonderful characters that weave into your heart even when you don’t really want them too! AKA Luca! and a fantastic series storyline filled intrigue, emotion, drama, danger and steam, steam, steam!! I have loved Byron from the very first book and was beyond excited to read his story and learn so much more about him. I just knew it was going to be a great story and boy oh boy it did not disappoint! He truly is such a wonderful character and he battles so much with loyalty and love. I absolutely loved this book and the entire series. If you haven’t read the whole series you really, really need too!

Boy oh boy! Such a GREAT romantic suspense set!! Okay ,so there are SIX books total in this set (Savage Collision, Tortured Skye, Stone Sober, Building Storm, Tainted Saint, and Steele Resolve). YES, you CAN read them alone, BUT you SHOULDN’T!! Just don’t do it! You will want them all! TRUST ME!! They are all so, so good!!! They build on each other so well!! They will mention things in the others and you won’t quite know what they are referring to, but you will get the overall point in most cases. BUT you NEED to read them all! Seriously! I loved them all so much. The Hawke family lives in New Orleans and just like the town, there is always something going on with them! Lets see…. The mob? Check!… Family issues? Of course. Check!… Workplace Drama? Unfortunately always with clubs. So, check and double check! AND Hurricanes!!!!!?? Oh geesh! Check!! What fires will this family need to deal with in this collection of contemporary suspense romance books?? Read them ALL to find out!!!!!
Savage Collision- Savage is a damaged billionaire who owns and runs a couple of upscale clubs. When a dancer’s sister comes barreling into his office he doesn’t know it yet, but his life will never be the same. He has secrets, but weather he likes it or not, he can’t keep it from coming out, or the consequences afterwards.
Tortured Skye- Skye is Savage’s sister (from book one). She works on the office side of the local hospital and although the family drives her crazy and she’s a bit snippy sometimes, she has a decent life. She likes her work, she’s been “seeing” a guy from HR, and she’s handling life and family. Unfortunately one encounter, at a Hawke Family event no less, has her life flipped upside down. She’s really being tortured at this point!
Stone Sober- Stone is the younger brother of Savage and Skye (from book one and two). He is a lawyer at an older firm but he still has ties to his home town and unfortunately some dangerous people there. Coming home and setting up shop for himself is looking better and better. But, he’s a control freak who can’t control his life right now! Between the mob and an off limits employee of the family, his world is spinning. He can’t control himself and he finds himself rushing into things unprepared. Hard as stone but a sweet cupcake can make it all burn to the ground!
Building Storm- Storm is another Hawke sister (from the previous books). She hasn’t really been living. At all. Going through the motions on auto pilot isn’t truly living. Everyone sees it. Even her daughter. She’s failing. The Hawke family means well, but they’re driving her insane trying to control everything. She can’t rely on anyone. She has to take care of her life and her daughter. She can do it alone and she has to. Storms are crashing around in her brain and stomach as she tries to navigate what her new life should be like. The guilt, hurt, and anger are so much. The inferno that ruined her life, flashes like a deja vu, and losing everything has her fighting for her breath and her life!
Tainted Saint- Saint is a bouncer at one of the Hawkeye Clubs. He’s an ex ball player which gives him the perfect build to put anyone in their place if they even try to step out of line and break any of the club rules. Working for the Hawke family has been anything but boring though! There is ALWAYS something going on in one of the clubs, bars, restaurants, or businesses. Trouble is just attracted to them! Between lovers, one night stands, family drama, and the Italian Mob…. who knows what will happen to this family next! Unfortunately for him, he failed them when keeping an eye on a family member, so his life is a bit up in the air since the fire. Caroline is a reporter and a friend of the Hawke family. She’s reporting on a masquerade party and she’s excited for some of the fun. Being anonymous gives her the courage to step outside her normal box. With secrets everywhere things are about to change for this family, again.!! And of course Saint and Caroline are being scooped right into the story with them all.
Steele Resolve- Steele (aka Luca Abello) is a mob boss. Taking over for his father was never in his plans. He wanted nothing to do with him or anything that he did. His father sent him and his mother away because the truth of what he is. He isn’t to be trusted. His father was bad enough, but now that Luca is in town the Hawke family is on edge. Not knowing what Luca is up to is keeping them and their businesses on their toes. Knowing it all, Byron has a hard time staying away. Yes, at first he didn’t know who he was, but now they are both risking it all because they can’t seem to stay away from each other. Secrets and guilt are ripping the poor Hawke family apart. And this rift could ruin a lot along the way. The Hawke’s are the only people Luca has ever cared about and now they are on opposite sides.
What an ending!! Talk about coming full circle. I loved this set!!!! I can’t wait to read the prequel that just came out!! Sad to see this story end, but I am excited to read some of Gwyn’s other books!!!! Think I found another favorite author!! You HAVE TO READ THIS SET!!!!!

This talented author truly has created wonderful characters that weave into your heart and a fantastic storyline filled intrigue, emotion, drama, danger and steam, steam, steam!! Saint and Caroline are 100% meant to be and I was so excited to get to read their story. Caroline especially had me wanting to get to know her more from the previous books. I knew she was going to bring us a great story. I absolutely loved this and can’t wait to read more!!

I have to admit when I met Skye in the first book of this series I did not like her very much at all but of course as you get to know her in this book you truly grow to understand her so much better and she will weave her way into your heart. Gabe on the other hand I loved right from book one. These are two characters are definitely made for each other and while they both have demons to face and things to work out you will be hooked on their story and where it takes you right from the very start. This author has created wonderful characters that I am looking forward to getting to know even more as the series develops and a fantastic storyline filled intrigue, heart and steam!! Loved this story! The way Rhia thinks of herself, I felt like she was horrendous looking, but Emerys thinks he is the most beautiful girl and I fell in love with their relationship. I can’t really fault Rhia for being so mean and stand offish towards Emerys in the beginning, she is only sixteen and is newly married, what girl is thinking of getting married at that age! Watching them learn more about each other, and their hopes and dreams for the future of their kingdom is sweet, and both are extremely brave. The wildmen are a fun addition, the whole book I kept thinking why don’t they just form an alliance!? I liked how the author wrote in the interactions between them and the wildmen. Drystan, is Rhia’s older brother and he has a romance going on with Rhia’s lady’s maid of sorts, Wynny, and I would be very interested to see their continuing love bloom as well as Rhia and Emerys, and to see what becomes of their peasant kingdom. I hope there is more to come!

Delicious Death is the second book in the Madame Chalamet Ghost Mysteries series. It can be read as a stand-alone but is best enjoyed as a continuation of the series so you can follow Elinor’s development and the slow-burn romance from the start. This series has a gaslamp fantasy feel, set in a fictional world. Elinor’s abilities as a medium help her to solve mysteries as well as helping people who are grieving and having difficulty letting go of those they’ve lost. Delicious Death is a fun read for fans of food, as the story takes place at a competition between six top chefs. Details about the food, and Elinor’s awareness and appreciation of good quality cooking, are essential to solving the mystery. We also hear about the many tasty delights she encounters along the way! Elinor’s medical friend, Dr Charlotte LaRue, accompanies her to the event and proves indispensable, not least to fainting noblewomen. It’s great to see her character developing and she brings some interesting science to the story as we learn about poisons and how they could be detected. This is an entertaining read – a rich fantasy setting with an intriguing mystery and plenty of other storylines flowing through it. The next two books are due to come out in February and April this year and I can’t wait to read them!

This story was a huge struggle for me. Getting into the characters and feeling for them was virtually nonexistent. I did a few but there is way too many characters (with code names and military titles) introduced to remember who is who and which name they go by. Flynn is one of the few who pulled my sympathy and worry.
I have read this authors books in the past. In fact some of these characters were in the stories I read. Some I love and others are like this one. If you are in the medical profession and military you will probably understand the lingo used in here. I am neither and was left thinking like I was at the doc office and they are talking a foreign language.
Overall this one is over my head and it struggled to hold my interest because I just did not care. The suspense part was well planned but thats the best I can say. Pick this up if you like medical and military jargon with characters galore.

This is book one of the series. It is a spin off of another series buy this author but can be completely read without having read the original series. I didn’t read the original series and found that I could stay caught up with everything in the book. This book is a romantic suspense genre but I found it to have more suspense than romance. The twists and turn this books takes was everything I didn’t know that I needed. It does have some romance but not as much as I have read in other romantic suspense books. I think that this is great as it will appeal to the romance lover but also the thrill seeker readers. I highly recommend reading this quick read when you are wanting to escape from the day to day. It is well written and will have you constantly turning the pages to see what happens. I am new to this author and will be completing this series along with reading the original series.

I love that this series is a spin off from Chase Security Series. It made me want to keep reading. Dr. Hunter Montgomery is Chief Medical Officer of Chase Care. He had recently lost the love of his life and partner. So basically he is just doing his job, nothing else, no romance, just work. Selma Bryant who is also a Doctor has reappeared in Hunter’s life, but not for long. She has secretly loved Hunter, but now was not the right time. As she is leaving New Orleans and heading out with Doctors Abroad to Africa. What happens next? No Spoilers, I recommend you read this series. The author has once again sucked me in. This is a medical thriller with twists and turns that will keep you reading. I love that some of the characters from Chase Security appear in this series as well. While this story has a lot of medical information, it is also easy to follow. Romance is in the air, but suspense runs this romantic thriller.
