Talisman (The Talisman Series Book 1) by Tam DeRudder Jackson – Review by Sarah King

Talisman (The Talisman Series Book 1)Talisman by Tam DeRudder Jackson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

As an ancestor of Celtic warriors that have been cursed, Rowen Sheridan must find his talisman or die. The talisman is the one woman who the warrior develops a special one of a kind connection. Orphaned at a young age, Alyssa Macaulay is raised without the knowledge of her family’s history and heritage. Alyssa is thrown into the deep end when she ends up in Rowen’s path. Will she be able to adjust to this new reality? Will Rowen and Alyssa find a HEA? Can they break the curse?

I really enjoyed this story and can’t wait for the next book in the series. The story was well – written and easy to follow. The characters have depth and are relatable, to an extent. This book gives you a little bit of everything; action, mythology, and romance. Worth the read!
