I really enjoyed this YA historical romance and I loved the glimpse that the author gave us into historical Scotland. I thought the story was a really interesting and well written one. The pacing was great and I found myself connecting with the story easily.
The main character really added to the storyline. She was strong and had such a feistiness about her that you couldn’t help but like her. I thought this was all a perfect combination and I found that I couldn’t wait to see how things would play out. This was a brilliant story that appeals to a wide audience and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
