This is a great historical romance and the first book that I have read by this author. I thought that it was really well written, detailed and genuinely interesting. The author has created a storyline that feels true to its time. I found myself connecting with the story and I really enjoyed watching it unfold.
The characters really worked well with the story that was being told. I liked that we really got to know them and could watch their journey unfolding. I thought this was a thoroughly enjoyable story and I look forward to discovering more of this authors work.
