This book. I’m not sure if it was a good read or not. If you like very sexy books with mostly spice in the pages then this was fantastic. If you’re looking for more plot and less or no spice then I would say this books wasn’t great. It was very steamy, very spicy, so much so the plot didn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. There were some scenes (that weren’t steamy) that felt slightly disjointed but regardless of that I guess I can say this book did the job it needed to do.
This is the fourth installment of the series. Please make sure to read all of the books beforehand, as I missed a book, and got lost for a second and had to go back. It worked for a good catchup though, because it made this book so much better! Will and Maggie are trying to adjust in the future after escaping their death. When they find a past item from Dylan asking for help, they know it can’t be good. They must help fox the rent in time. The only problem is they don’t have a way back yet. They then go into their adventure to make it happen. Dylan also has his own problem in the past. It’s a great story that I had to keep reading to finish!

Other People’s Money (The Madeline Dawkins Series Book 7) by Cynthia Hamilton. I love this series so much I don’t want it to end. Each book is so good and each one I read is my new favorite. These can be read as standalone’s but I recommend reading them in order to get the most out of them. In this book we find Madeline taking on 3 very time sensitive cases at the same time. These 3 cases are all intertwined with one another but they aren’t aware of that at the time. In one case Jane, Madeline’s best friend asks her for help because her husband has been accused of embezzlement. In another someone has come up missing and in the third a older gentleman has become entwined with a woman that his family and friends believe to be a gold digger. Of course anytime Madeline is involved things go awry and her husband has to always help her out. Missing people, money and a gold digger all in one book. What more could you ask for.

Savage Lies (Hidden Valley Elite Book 1) by Isla Vaughn. This is a great enemies to lovers romance. Its the story of Riley who has moved once again and her mom promises this will be the last time. Cole is the star football player and part of an elite group of kids. What he says goes and everyone follows him. When Riley and Cole share a secret kiss this puts a target on Riley’s back and when Cole can’t get her out of his head he treats her even worse. Riley is no shrinking violet so when he’s mean to her she stands right up to him and doesn’t back down. This fascinates Cole even more. He’s almost obsessed with her. He pretends he doesn’t want her but is not going to let anyone else have her. There is a fine line between love and hate and Cole is pushing those limits to the core. Having read and thoroughly enjoyed the previous books in this historical time travelling romance series, I was looking forward to this novel and I was not disappointed. I recommend reading the books in order as the storyline continues throughout the series. I was excited to be back with Will and Maggie who are now in the twentieth century and with Dylan who is in the sixteenth century. Dylan gets a message to Will and Maggie asking them to return to the past, in order to mend a rent in the fabric of time, however the couple are at risk of altering events in both centuries if they can not return. Unfortunately they no longer have any stone left in the amulet, and so Dylan is left in the past realising that the threads of time have somehow snapped and torn the very fabric itself.
He knows that getting Will and Maggie back could be the only way to mend it, but hates to ask them to put their lives at risk once again and travel back in time. Meanwhile, another time traveller Richie Carnaby has selective amnesia, as there are many parts of his sixteenth century life that he can’t remember, and Will and Maggie wonder if this is connected. The couple try to find a way of returning to the past to repair the tattered fabric, knowing that if they don’t the threads of time will continue to unravel, altering history. As usual this is a fast paced story with a gripping and engaging plot which had me hooked from start to finish. The descriptive narrative along with the added historical details made me feel as though I had been transported back in time, along with the characters. A real page turner which I recommend.

I really enjoyed this 4th book in the series. The twists and turns kept going, along with the complexities of figuring out time travel and how it affects the future, as well as making changes that could literally destroy a family, affecting multiple generations – it’s a lot to wrap your head around and the author does it very well! I have enjoyed following Will and Maggie and the families they have created, whether blood or not, and working their way through the trials and tribulations of the time. Great series and great author!

4.5 stars There is a caution with this book as it contains sexual content, profanity, and violence. Recommended for 18+. I was happy to see the next book was out so jumped right in. The Innovator is the third book in the WaterFyre Rising series. It is a forced proximity enemies to lovers tale. Even though this is the third book in the series each book can be read as standalones. This contemporary romance is a suspenseful tale with danger and dark secrets that may just destroy it all. Gray was burned before and it is still leaving a bitter taste with him. He is safe from heartache as he has built walls around his heart with reinforced steel. Or so he thought. Nat is out to save her family’s legacy but wonders if it is all worth it when you are working with an arrogant SOB. When tensions are at breaking point she discovers much more than she thought she would find. However, when danger comes calling who will help her? I look forward to what comes next from Nadia.

This is a great book in to add to this series and is really worth the read. I would highly recommend reading the other book sin the series as I honestly think it would add to the overall enjoyment of the book. The characters in this book are complex and interesting, they both have some much going on and yet they just seem to work together perfectly. The overall pace of the book is well done. The author knows how to move the story along and keep you invested in what is happening. I wanted to find out how these characters would make it work and I wanted to know more about them. This was an enjoyable book that I would recommend.

I enjoyed the LGBTQ inclusion as I don’t often come across fantasy books with gender fluid characters.
My only minor criticism would be that it wasn’t always clear whether the use of ‘they’ meant Amy, or other characters. However, this wasn’t a major issue as the meaning could be understood through context.
The story is paced well and the characters well-written. There were even a couple of surprises (for me at least) along the way which kept it interesting as it wasn’t entirely predictable.
The storyline had me hooked and I got emotionally invested in Amy’s situation. I look forward to the next book and the adventures that follow.

Both are attracted to one another, but it’s not until they are parent trapped into spending time alone together in a secluded location that they finally allow themselves to give into the lust they feel. Both of them are dealing with a lot of stress and pressure outside of the project they are working together on for the city, but they start a relationship that helps them to both feel more grounded and happy than they have in a long time. When Grayson’s outside business becomes more dangerous, he pushes her away to try and protect her, going as far as sending her back to Paris and her family (with some help) to try and protect her. Once the danger has passed, Grayson hopes to be able to convince Natalie to forgive him. This is a good quick read. It is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone, with plenty of sex and intrigue to keep you reading.

With Fire and Sword is the Fourth Book in the Thunder on the Moor Series. It centers around the characters of Will, Maggie and Dylan who are in different centuries. Will and Maggie are settling into their new life in the twentieth century while Dylan remains in the sixteenth century. Dylan realizes that something does not seem right and that the threads of time seem to have snapped. He must find a way to contact Will and Maggie and have them return to the sixteenth century and mend the rip in the fabric of time or it will forever alter the events in both centuries. He sends them a message by leaving a note tucked inside a diary in the hopes that they will find it in their present day. When Will and Maggie stumble onto Dylan’s mysterious note they must find a way to travel back in time and help Dylan.
It is up to Will and Maggie to travel back through time to the sixteenth century and repair the rip in the fabric of time or risk the course of history being forever altered. The problem is that the amulet Will And Maggie used for time travel has no stone left in it. How can they possibly travel back in time to help Dylan without the stone in their amulet? If they could get there, what events are they supposed to correct to mend the fabric of time? Is it worth it to risk their lives by travelling back through time?
I loved this book on time travel and was blown away by the storyline, the characters, and the attention to historical details. The descriptions were so vivid that I felt as though I was there with the characters and experiencing events firsthand as they unfolded. The characters were well written and relatable. I became fully engaged in each of their stories and how they would unfold. I loved that Will and Maggie were reading old diaries and looking through historical records. Having that connection to their past was fascinating to me. This book had action, suspense, danger, mystery, intrigue, and of course, time travel. A great read for anyone interested in historical fiction.

This was a great story of lust and revenge. It is a romcom and I really loved the characters of Nadine and Wick. Both of these characters are bad ass in their own way and it’s this confidence and arrogance that makes the sparks fly between them.
The story starts with Nadine realising that her now ex boyfriend took money from their joint business to fund a new venture(which is a scam). Furious that he has risked her dream and also the betrayal of just taking the money she ends the relationship and takes revenge but taking his personal trainer.
When Nadine and Wick met they clash. Wick is an arragone ass and he winds Nadine up constantly but it doesn’t take long for that hate to turn into sexual tension and when Nadine gets a glimpse of the dominant side of Wick she can’t help but want more. But things won’t be plain sailing as Nadine and Wick still have to endure her ex getting involved in their lives. This is a great steamy romcom. There are laughs and the banter between the characters really brought the story to life. One thing I really liked is how Nadine sets out to get revenge by sleeping with the trainer her ex idolises but what she ends up with is more than she could ever imagine.
Steaming hot! This boxset contains The Sweet Temptations Trilogy with each book following Richard. Book 1 has Richard in an age-gap temptation with The Babysitter. Book 2 he finds himself in an enemy to lovers situation with the boss’ daughter. Book 3 he finds himself in an unexpected Ménage à Trois with his wife and his dirty little secret. All 3 books are easy to read, delightfully sinful and will have the reader needing to cool down. Recommend.
I have read all the books to this series and not one has disappointed me yet. It is a little heart wrenching that this will be the last book of the trilogy but im so glad that I read them. this book was very well written that once again I felt like I was right there in the story, from loving the characters to hating them all in one. This book was filled with magic and fantasy, lots of action. This book like the others kept me turning pages and I couldn’t get enough, the twists and turns had me guessing the whole time and really devouring this story. Im a little sad that the story ended but so glad some ends are toed up, there were a few things in the story I wish that there was more details on it, but for the way this book if written it made up for it. if you decide to read this book, I would suggest stating at the beginning.

Thunder On The Moor: A Time Travel Romance is the first book in the Thunder on the Moor series. This series is ongoing, and I highly recommend reading it in order. I started with the second book and was so glad to go back and read this one. The story is a fun adventure in time, with 20th-century and 16th-century characters merging into one story. I like the main character Maggie. She is from the 20th century and was raised as an independent spirit with adventure in her heart. When she is taken into the past by her father she discovers that the past is just as exciting as her father had told her. I really enjoy the glimpse into the past and how many of the same conflicts echo what we see in the current day. I look forward to seeing what adventures Maggie takes us on in the future books in the series.

Multi-layered romance This is book 3 in the Waterfyre Rising series and a worthy addition. Each books adds another element to the complexity that is Waterfyre. Grayson and Natalie are very strong characters, each with their own issues they need to face. The forced proximity, enemy to lovers aspect is woven into the suspenseful mystery storyline really well. I enjoy this author’s writing style and even though this can be read as a stand-alone, it’s really adds to the experience having read the previous two books. Highly recommend.

Shake Loose the Border is the third book in the Thunder On the Moor series. I recommend reading these books in order because it is an ongoing series. This kept me on the edge of my toes, with lots of action and suspense in the story. Set primarily in the sixteenth century, tensions arise as Will and Maggie’s wedding approaches. Maggie is sent back to the twentieth century for safety purposes. Will Maggie and Will be reunited? As I mentioned, this is packed with action, suspense, and adventure. I couldn’t put it down because I wanted to know how it would end. I already had the fourth book so I knew the story would continue but I had to get some resolution. I look forward to reading the fourth book to see how their story continues.

This is a prequel to the Hidden Valley series and boy does it do its job. We meet the main characters Riley and Cole and gain a bit of background knowledge on them both. We also are privy to their introduction and sparks immediately fly; however, there are complications. I really liked this prequel because it’s a quick, easy read and it provides great information and it definitely leaves you wanting more! *Ends on a cliffhanger*
I’m a sucker for short stories and then you tell me they’re scary stories?! I’m in! Kelly Covic did an absolutely terrifyingly amazing job with these stories. The title of this book is spot on because some of these stories definitely crept their way into my dreams and kept me awake. I couldn’t choose a favorite they are all so well-written. The way Covic is able to twist her words around your brain until you can’t tell reality from fiction is fantastically ghastly. If you love a good scare and want a sleepless night, grab your copy right now!

There is a lot being told in this story and the first few chapters will throw you around and you’ll have a lapse of being lost but if you keep going you’ll catch up quick. A fun romantic but suspenseful love story between a brother’s best friend and the little sister. I really enjoyed the story when I caught up. I can’t wait to read about the following love stories of the Waterfyre Rising Series.

Dawnbreaker: The House of Blood and Sun by Hadley Thorne is an urban fantasy filled with beautiful imagery, mystery, and intrigue, as well as a beautiful romance. This is the newest installment in the Tapestry of Worlds. Hadley combines the world we all now and live in seamlessly with the world of fantasy, myth, and legend. The story follows Niamh the Sidhe Princess on a journey to discover herself, her power, and her soul mate. We also see pieces of the story from the mysterious vampire Connor O’Brien. As these two characters struggle with the feelings their first encounter sparks, we are thrown into a web of political fae/vampire court intrigue. With an unknown foe who is trying to tear the protagonist apart. This book absolutely sucks you in and will keep you invested until the very end. I can’t wait to see what Hadley writes next in the Tapestry of Worlds. It is a truly beautiful and engrossing story.

Reggi Dupree paints a colorful paranormal world in the town of Hoodoo, Texas ripe with witches, vampires, ghosts and more. I love picking up the start to a series and looking forward to continuing the story; my only disappointment throughout the book was that I didn’t realize there was a prequel that was seemingly referred to a number of times. Not the end of the world (though, that may come later in the Hoodoo books!), and the witty banter woven in throughout with Gwen and her closest friends was entertaining and engaging. With a number of surprises within the book, I found myself eagerly turning the pages to find out whodunnit and what happened next. A fun read, for sure!

I didn’t fully know what to expect when picking up this book of poems as it isn’t my usual read. The bright and interesting cover caught my attention. I am glad I picked it up! This was a unique experience. Each poem explores a different deeper issue, but is done tastefully. I admit I did have to reread some of the poems a fews times to gain the depth of the meaning. But isn’t that the mark of a good poem? One that is read and reread with each session a new experience. An experience that is different between readers and prompts discussion behind it.

This is the third book in this series which I enjoyed just as much as the previous three. I highly suggest reading the previous book in this series as it will help with your enjoyment of this series. I found this book to be well developed and full of romance. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into the story from the beginning. They are strong, supportive, engaging and added too much to the enjoyment of this series. A story where you feel hate and love for someone at the same time, if that is possible. The attraction and chemistry between the characters is great. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout which added to the entertainment of the story. You don’t want to miss what happens with these characters. I highly recommend this book.

‘The Innovator’ is the third book in the fantastic ‘WaterFyre Rising’ series by Nadia Han. I love the way this series is building on itself. Even though each book has its own story and couple, all the books combined help to build a much bigger picture, giving us more morsels of information on the characters, backstories, arching storyline, and Waterfyre. The whole Waterfyre element is what really hooked me into the series in the first place, then add in some really intriguing characters and exciting storylines makes this series stands out from the crowd. Since diving into book one and developing a taste for Nadia Hans work, I look forward to each new release to find out what she has in store for us (and the characters). Each new instalment slightly eclipses the previous one, which is proof, in my eyes, of a talented author. This instalment is a bit of an enemies-to-lovers contemporary romantic suspense. A billionaire romance with drama, angst, tension, chemistry, sizzle, secrets, forced proximity, and contains sensitive topics/potential triggers for some readers (swearing, violence, the mention of suicide, grief, abuse, and eating disorders). The story was a little slow to build momentum – but as the story progressed and the pace picked up- especially with all the added angst, sizzle, drama, and suspense unfolding, definitely grabbed my attention and held it right through till the end. Looking forward to The Inquisitor’ (Book #4), it’s set to be even better yet… Happy Reading!
