Pete and Rowena served together many years ago in Afghanistan. A rescue mission in the United States brings them back together. An action packed story of the rescue mission and what it takes to keep them together this time. I literally could not put the book down. A happily ever after!

I really enjoyed this friends to lovers romance story. It was really fast paced which made it an easy read. The characters were so engaging that you felt completely invested in them from the beginning. I read this book in one sitting as I couldn’t put it down.
Nate and Abby had been friends for years. They share a special relationship and bond that neither has with anyone else. When Abby reaches 40 she starts to question her life. She has always wanted a baby and someone to love but it hasn’t happened and she feels time is ticking away. One chat with Nate and together they come to a decision. They are best friends, they love and trust each other. So Nate offers Abby a one time thing. He will get her pregnant and she can have his baby. What could possible go wrong?
What follows is a story of discover as a one time things turns into something neither of them saw coming but both of them were scared to admit. Things aren’t all plain sailing away and there are challenges that they need to work through. There are times when as a reader you feel like banging their heads together to make them see sense and realise what they have. It is an emotional romance and I really enjoyed their journey from friends to lovers.

Doctor Frank Enstein by C.A. King is part of the Doctors of Eastport General collaboration series. I found this to be a really fun short read. When Frank decides to change his career path from cosmetic surgery to leading the burn clinic at Eastport General, he makes the decision to be dedicated to his path with no distractions. When he is accidentally rude to barmaid Barbara, he begins to rethink his choices. This was a very enjoyable book, I wish it was longer as there are so many other interesting characters and relationships within the hospital staff, this has definitely encouraged me to read some of the other titles in the series.

So, I am in shock. Never thought that traveling can be an eye-opener to the truth. Well for Dan, losing life and family he never thought there was truth in the road than at his own home. I was feeling weird at first about the book (in a good way, don’t get me wrong) then when I found out that Dan was missing something in life that made him think about his relationship with his wife that changed the ball game for me because after a while reading into the long drive in the road with Jake that clicked. It is funny that sometimes to know the truth you have to take a ride and see where that leads you. 5 stars for the Author because life is all about taking chances and taking a long drive to clear your mind and that is what Dan did.
This is a fabulous book! I love the what-if concept of this take on real-life events. I find the characters to be written very well. They are believable. The heroine takes my breath away with her grit and determination to do all that she can for her siblings, as well as her family’s reputation. She comes to consider how the actions of her family may have looked to outsiders. As an added bonus, there will be more books to follow in this series.

The author did another amazing job on this story. Who knew that Brandon and Callie would have this chemistry together? I love how Callie looked at Brandon with this desire and looked at him like art or even more. This relationship was a crazy one because in between the steam was Callie’s bother and Brandon is his best friend. Talk about a roller coaster for Callie. This book had me to the top with wanting to know what would happen. Amazing story from the Author can’t wait to read the next series.

This trilogy had a lot of spice to it. In the first book, Richard and Alice go out and leave their son with the babysitter Rebecca they always use who lives in the same apartment building. When they get home, Rebecca asks Richard to come up to her apartment to try to Fix something on her computer. She answers the door in a tiny black robe and as much as he tried to fight the attraction, it was nearly impossible when Rebecca is practically throwing herself at him.
The second book takes place at Richards job. Scarlet ( his bosses daughter ) has a mouth on her and she loves to harass Richard. One day Richard has enough of her and her belittling him. Scarlet is used to dominating everyone and but the tables have been turned for once.
Book 3 was just so so crazy. Somehow Alice ends up helping Rebecca out of a bad situation. Takes her Downstairs to her apartment and Alice lets Rebecca in on a little secret which then Rebecca lets Alice in on a little secret. When Richard gets home he is so confused about what is going on but loves every moment of what is happening.

This is such a fun romantic story. Brinley left Morris Valley years ago when her family moved. Her friends and her made a pact that they would stay friends forever. They all did their best to stay friends, but miles and miles separated them. Brinley served in the military and now is traveling as a rep for a gun company. She is currently working as an expert on a documentary set showing how guns work. What she doesn’t expect is that a stalker she thought was gone would reappear. The authorities have been working to solve who this stalker is and ensure her safety. But somehow this stalker has managed to get onto a closed set, into her trailer and leave her a note. She doesn’t want to admit how scared she is. So she is going the only place that has ever felt home – Morris Valley – to the friends that have never forgotten her. Adrian is a rancher through and through. Ranching takes every minute of his time and all of his energy. He would love to find a woman that he can come home to at the end of the day. But he has literally never found a woman who can share her heart with ranching. The one woman he thought would be able to, he discovered was cheating on him. So he has been incredibly jaded and is happy to be with his cattle and his sheep. Their paths cross and sparks fly. They both need each other in so many different ways. I truly loved their connection. I love all the characters in Morris Valley and I cannot wait to see what comes next in the series. I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorites.

I absolutely love the message, “We all pull together” that is evident throughout this book. Lois Wickstrom has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Her illustrator, Janet King does a wonderful job of bringing the story to life with the illustrations! Lila is spending time with her Grammie who is putting the finishing touches on a poncho just for Lila. At first Lila is not too sure about the poncho, but it ends up pulling her and others together. Pulling Together is one of my favorite books with an Important message that even though something might not seem great at first, it can all come together well in the end. Another thing that can be learned is to forgive others and bring them close. Wrap up with your favorite cozy jacket, poncho, or blanket and enjoy this sweet book!

This was a great 5 star read. Once I started I didn’t want to put it down. Abby is getting older and she really wants to be a mom. She is also a successful business woman. It doesn’t help that her mom keeps giving her a hard time as well. When her best friend Nate offers to help things start to look up. She has cared for him for years, will things change for them? Will Nate finally admit his feelings to Abby? Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the characters were great. And I also want to add that Nate is a firefighter, yum. The author does a great job with this story and I look forward to reading more from this series. I was really happy with how Abby and Nates story ended. 1-click and get started today.

I loved Brinley and Adrian’s connection and the development of their story, as well as the whole cast of characters! I can see the future stories lining up with the cast! The characters are likable and are developed well, which is something I really value as a reader and draws me into the story….and who doesn’t love a broody rancher. I can’t wait for the rest of the series!

I really enjoyed this book! Best friend romances are sweet and this one was no different. The author’s take in Just One Time was just different enough that it’s something I will remember. It stands out from other books in the genre. The way these characters were written was slightly frustrating at times but you still were rooting for them. Nate and Abby have been best friends for over 30 years. That’s how they ever saw each other. Unfortunately Abby wants the family and baby she always wanted and turning 40 has brought that need to the forefront. That’s where Nate comes in, they decide to try “Just One Time” to see if he could help her have a baby. What neither of them realized before that though was how much they truly cared for one another. How they actually loved the other more than a friend, but how does one navigate that? Especially when they agreed it would be just one time. So instead they are jealous and stubborn about each other. Keeping their true feelings in because they feel that’s what the other wants. All they want is for the other to be happy. Now the questions become: Was it really “Just One Time?” Did Nate help give Abby what she wants? Do they ever admit how they truly feel? I invite you to jump on the rollercoaster ride of emotions these two navigate on this adventure of life. You will be happy, sad, and even mad at them, but feeling those emotions makes for a great story. The author beautifully wrote a standalone best friends romance that didn’t disappoint.

Savage Lies follows the prequel Savage Start. Enemies-to-lovers and high school bully are understated. This is dark and full of scandal, so much scandal. It’s also full of angst, lies, drama, and even more secrets, jealousy, and bullying.
Riley thought a new place would make a great place to hide, as she always does. Her life is still full of secrets, but this time her mom is changing the rules of the game. Unfortunately for Riley she can’t escape the one causing her so much trouble because of her mom’s relationship with Cole’s dad. She has to stay out of his way or find a way to win. Cole is one of the Elite, the leader is reality. The Elite are privileged boys who rule their private school. He hates his dad and his mom is dead. Cole’s agenda is to make his dad miserable, no matter the cost.
The characters are so easy to love, Riley, or hate, Cole. The pages fly by once you start. Savage Lies ends with a major cliffhanger. I need the next book now!

I loved how the author jumped us right into the story and then sprinkled the backstory in and she wove an amazing paranormal story. The writing style keeps you on the edge of your seat from the get go, wanting to learn more about what happened and what will happen. Gwen is a fabulous heroine, strong, fierce and sassy. She is the type of character that you would want to go get a drink with and see what happens. The author has created a wonderful world full of paranormal creatures mixed in with regular humans. I absolutely can’t wait to read the prequel book and what comes next from the author!

Brinley and her friends make a blood promise pact as kids that they would always keep in touch and always be friends. Brinley’s parents move her to Texas for her mom’s work and this pact was made minutes before she left the only home she ever knew.
Fast forward a few years and Brinley has completed her military service and is an Olympic athlete. She’s just coming off tour when she has a stalker that just won’t leave her alone. Brinley decides to go back to her hometown and catch up with her friends. Not much had changed in her hometown except the addition of Adrian.
Adrian is a tall drink of water and is also super quiet and reserved. He’s a rancher who prefers to stay to himself but when he sees Brinley and she’s hanging out with his friends, he has to get to know her. He never predicts just how much they need each other, but especially Brinley when her stalker hunts her down.
I loved the mystery of this book! It made for a pleasant story with a good plot line. This is the first book in a new series by this author. I look forward to seeing where this series goes!

Flynn is a former tennis player turned motivational speaker who recently returned from her book tour. She’s a well-known speaker and writer, yet hides so much of her truth from the world. She’s determined to not let her past catch up with her, even if it means ruining all that starts to go well in her life.
Chavez was at the peak of his tennis career when he abruptly left the circuit. He is hot-headed, extremely sure of himself, and doing all he can to cover his family drama. He aspires to reach the top of his game again too.
Sparks and tension are ablaze when Flynn and Chavez meet in their therapists’ shared waiting room. Chavez wants more than a relationship with Flynn, he wants her to be his new tennis coach too. Flynn agrees, but her flight or fight response kicks in when old problems surface as things with Chavez get more intense.
I love Rowan Rossler’s writing, so it was no surprise that I enjoyed these characters and the overall story. Between the age-gap (it’s not as much of a gap as I anticipated) and everything else the characters have to navigate, it kept my attention from the very beginning. The Challenger is the second book in the series, but is easily read as a standalone. The first book, The Cruiser, is definitely worth reading if you want to fully understand the friendships and connections.

Savage Start is a prequel and a quick read to set the stage for the rest of the series.
Riley lives with her mom and it’s obvious that they don’t live normal lives. Running cons is the mother/daughter duo’s game. They’re always running from something, or someone, and getting comfortable isn’t an option. Or is it?
Cole is the football star, all-American boy, and tough guy. He appears to have everything a person could possibly want. Along with his brother and cousins, Cole seems to run the school. Cole’s parents are not happy and neither and Cole and his brother.
Savage Start is a great foundation and teaser that makes me need to read the first book in the series, Savage Lies.
Most of this authors stories have been hit or miss for me. I almost always give her another chance because that story might be the one I love. Sadly this one is a miss for me. There is a lot of titled/military characters and while some of that information is useful mostly especially on secondary characters its not needed. Also this is full of medical procedures and medical jargon. To me that all takes away from the story and gives unnecessary information and I get bored and start flipping pages. The connection between characters and the suspense in here was nice. That Silas is one dark guy.
This is the second one in this series I have tried and I won’t be trying anymore. I will give this author another try on her next series.

The Challenger by Rowan Rossler is available now in eBook and Physical Book ⭐️⭐️⭐⭐ Book Review
“When love meets its match, its game on!”
The Challenger is the second installment of The Hustler’s Series. Although part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. This reverse age gap, sports romance is full of steam, spice, and suspense. When Chavez Delgado, a tennis prodigy, leaves a tennis tour unexpectedly his fans are heartbroken. Flynn Dryden, a motivational speaker, meets Chavez at just the right time and agrees to go on tour with him as his mental fitness coach. Sparks fly and the two of them have to decide if their unresolved issues can stay in the past. Will they both be able to overcome their challenges for a happily ever after?
Rowan Rossler aims to make the world a better place one love story at a time, adding a touch of spice to kick it up a notch. The Challenger will give you nothing less. Just when you think Flynn’s life couldn’t fall apart any more another piece comes crumbling down. The family drama and insecurities within this novel are heartbreaking. Rossler will send you on an emotional roller coaster so don’t forget to grab the box of Kleenex for this one. The witty banter, tension, and chemistry between Flynn and Chavez stole my heart. I highly recommend reading The Challenger. I will definitely be on the lookout for other novels by this author.

The Lone Star Child is the third book in The Gods’ Scion series by Winnifred Tataw. This follows on from the previous book, so I highly recommend reading the first two books before starting on this one as there is a continuing storyline here with important information contained in the first two books that you should know in order to avoid feeling a little lost here. As with the previous books, this is another fantasy adventure with action, emotion, sci-fi elements, gods, revenge, family, loss, heartache, betrayal, magic, royalty, zodiac/astrology, powers, reconciliation, intriguing world-building, and interesting characters. Ms. Tataw has created an intricate world with unique characters, lore, culture, and beliefs. There are magic and fantasy elements, all woven around things we are more familiar with- which makes the story all the more relatable and believable. She also provides a substantial reference guide at the end of the book full of helpful information. The adventures continue in ‘The Sisterhood of Secrets’ (Book #4). Happy Reading…

Right in Front of You is the first book in the Morris Valley Gang series by Brooke May. I always look forward to reading Ms. May’s stories, as she never fails to deliver an engrossing read. This turned out to be one of my favourites of hers, so far- and I am really looking forward to seeing what the rest of the series holds. This is a western, small-town romance with cowboys, a protective MC, drama, danger, humour, witty banter, chemistry, sizzle, connection, emotion, and more. Brinley Moore has returned to Morris Valley, the place she feels most like home- and to the friends she had left behind. She doesn’t expect to find a connection with the quiet, but hunky cowboy. Sprinkle in a little danger, and a protective cowboy, and this story takes an interesting turn. Looking forward to Book #2! Happy Reading…

I absolutely adore this book! I love when I get so lost in a book that I don’t realize how much I’ve actually read. I didn’t check the page number one time till I finished it…that’s how much it caught my attention. Brinley and Adrian are absolutely adorable. Adrian is having trouble finding the “one” so when Brinley catches his eye…he’s instantly drawn to her. Adrian wants a woman that understands his life and Brinley is THAT woman. They have a lot on common. And I love a good spicy read as well! And this book had plenty of it. There’s a little bit of suspense and drama and it was a good add to this! I really enjoyed this! I can’t wait for the next book to read about Lilly ♥️
