Return to hoodoo by Reggi Dupree is an amazing read. I 1,000% recommend this novel. I fell in love with the characters fast, especially Gwendolyn Carter the main character. The author brings not only the town of Hoodoo, Texas alive, but also the characters. You follow Gwen back to her hometown filled with shifters, vampires, and witches. Gwen’s only reason for coming back is for legal reasons, which isn’t a huge draw to her considering the reason she left was because she was almost charged with murder. she finds herself caught up in a whole new scandal with a new love interest and her Ex-boyfriend a shifter who happens to a cop.
Be prepared for a novel that is humorous and shocking. Gwen’s internal monologs and sassy humorous comeback, plus the twisting and turning of events has me begging for more. I plan reading the prequel, Hoodoo heaven to learn when really happen before her return to Hoodoo.
