This is an enjoyable paranormal romance which focuses on Lillian and Tristan. Ultimately a story about love, both romantic and familial, as they both fight to save their loved ones.

I loved the character Lillian – she’s so strong in the face of the danger, and risks everything for her sister. Her determination to save her is admirable and I think her fears and desires are written well.
I got very invested in the characters’ stories and the outcome of the events they go through.

I enjoyed the writing style used in the book, it was easy to follow, and valuable information was drip-fed at the perfect times to make it feel more real and aids the story. The author built chemistry between characters so that it was almost tangible, and I couldn’t get enough!
This was the first book I’ve read by the author, but I’ll be on the lookout for more!
