Lillian Milano isn’t like most paranormals in her world. She takes energy from the healthy to help heal the sick. This power puts a target straight on her back and puts her and everyone she loves in danger. All of her fears are put on hold when her sister becomes deathly ill, and she’ll do anything to help heal her.

Tristan King is, in short, a billionaire. After being burned by his ex, and with his mother dying, he doesn’t want or need another relationship.

Tristan is so full of life and energy, exactly the energy Lillian needs, and she’s got something he needs as well: a single night with no attachments to get his ex off his back.

I devoured this book. It was so fast paced, emotional, humorous, and full of excitement. I really hope this is the start of a series, because I’d love to read more in this universe!

Lillian is so loving and caring for everyone around her and Tristan is so calm and collected. The two balance one another out nicely. Definitely a great read, I’d recommend to anyone who loves the paranormal!
