Starting middle school is hard enough.. Being the new kid is even harder.. Starting middle school as the new kid who is also different.. Well, the odds are against you. Silas is determined not to let it get him down, though! If ever there was a tale of perseverance, this just happens to be it! This fast-paced read takes you on the rollercoaster that is middle school life. It is relatable and takes you on a ride of emotions. Silas and his grandfather have a beautiful relationship. All in all, this is a fun little read for preteens!
