This was a good 4 star read. You get pulled in right from the beginning. Riley is a private detective who has some interesting cases. We get danger, suspense and so much more. Fate keeps bringing Riley and Tristan together. Tristan is a firefighter who wasn’t looking for anything until he met Riley, something about her pulled him in. Riley has some pretty high walls, can Tristan get through them? Riley is in danger, will Tristan be able to keep her safe? I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see who was after Riley and why. I really like the characters, you could feel their connection coming off the pages. I am looking forward to reading more from this series and author.
