A Teacher’s Heart by Melissa Lavi is a sweet, illustrated ode to teachers. It is a very short ‘story’, which makes for a quick and easy read. The illustrations that accompany the story are bright and colourful- and add extra interest to the whole book.
I think this book would be great to help take some of the apprehension out of meeting a teacher for the first time- ease the mind of younger readers who are just about to start school, or join a new class.
The story is cute and has a lot of heart- and as mentioned before, it is an ode to dedicated teachers who put their heart and soul into teaching their students.
