Breathless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 3) by KG Fletcher – Review by Kerry Carr

Breathless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #3)Breathless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is book 3 in The Bennetts Of Langston Falls Series. This a a sweet romance and just like the other books in the series you can’t help but be captivated by the story. The author writing has the ability to transport the reader into this small town and the characters are so well written then could be your friends, they are easily to relate to and emotions and feelings came through in this story.
This book can be read as a standalone but because these books are so good I would recommend reading them all.

Hank has always wanted to become a famous country star but when his band decides they don’t want the same thing it leaves Hank feeling lost and wondering if all he was made for was working on his families farm after all. That is until a chance meeting changed his life in more ways than one.

Ella Mae is a talented songwriter. She has been touring with her brother Travis and when she meets Hank she feels such a strong connection that she invites him to join the band too see what life on tour is really like. The more time together they spent the more perfect the duo seem to be, both musically and romantically but it’s not going to be an easy path to their happy ever after.

One of the things I loved about this pairing is that support for one another. Elle Mae supports and encourages Hanks dreams to become a country star and when problems hit Elle’s personal life he is there standing and supporting her in the same way. Their attraction and connection is so pure that you can’t help but want them to succeed and get everything they dream of.
As well as the excitement of being on tour with the band and the romance that is building between Hank and Elle Mae the author also deal with topics such as drug and alcohol addiction and the effect that has not only on the person going through it but also everyone around them. It’s a beautiful story that shows that no relationship is perfect and that there could be problems along the way. The question is can Hank and Elle Mae overcome them together? Or will Hank decide that he prefers the quiet easier life on his families farm?
