I really enjoyed the story of Laurent and Phoebe. I appreciate the couple being more mature while working through long standing issues they have. Laurent is a gentle soul, willing to stand by and support Phoebe, although she has a tendency to run away when her mind tells her opposite her hearts desire. I enjoyed the family aspect surrounding the winery and how connected the siblings seem. While I did enjoy this book, I felt the ending was a bit blah and rushed. It didn’t spark hope for the coupling for some reason. Hopefully book 2 adds some more to Laurent and Phoebe’s future for us that must know.
