A Rainbow Like You by Andréa Fehsenfeld – Review by Shelly Kittell

A Rainbow Like YouA Rainbow Like You by Andréa Fehsenfeld
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A truly fascinating story. We have Adrian, the rocker, trying to deal with burnout, OCD and color blindness on a tour that brings major drama Then we have Hastings, a teen stowaway, on Adrian’s bus. She has synesthesia and a plot twist that I didn’t see coming. Toss in Sasha-Rae, Norm, Sven and Exile, and you have a cast of characters that make for a book you cannot put down. There are so many sub-issues being dealt with in this story along with the main plot. I found it thrilling that the author was able to tie them together so well that the flow just remained so smooth. The strength and courage of Hastings made her one of my favorite characters. How do you see a rainbow? Adrian faced some large struggles but you found yourself rooting for him to succeed. It is a must read.
