My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have not read anything by this author before or read the earlier books in this series, and I feel that this book can be read as a standalone if like me you have missed the beginning. Although I am quite sure the previous books would have n=been just as beautifully written and heartfelt as this one.

When political life is not for you, and all you want to do is be home on the ranch looking after your son what can you do to please as many people as you feel you need to. Your daddy who has been beside you and wanted the lifestyle himself, as well as your school sweetheart.

Emotions run high after the death of her husband, and the less than gentlemanly ways of her now fiancé Gabby needs to look at what makes her happy.

An emotional read that takes you by the hand and leads you alongside the characters as they try to find their happy ever after.

I would defiantly read more by this author.
