Classic foe to lover story between Daphne and Lev. Who knew love could be found in the person you hate the most? If you haven’t read the first book, there are many references that may not make sense in this book. I do not recommend reading as a stand alone. This book brought out many emotions; you’ll find yourself, sad, shocked, surprised, and oh so happy.

This was a good read to pass my time with while I lounged around this week. It kept my interest and I liked the author writing style. Wes and Mina were great. But they definitely were on a rollercoaster of feels and I was happy when things finally settled. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future! Happy Reading!

Cetus-Lupeedus you guys, can I say this author Isla Vaughn is so amazing 👏 😍 🙌 I love every one of her books. She really knows how to give you what you want while also keeping you needing more and more. Hints why I ran to read this after reading the prequel Cruel Start which I highly recommend reading first before starting this one so you really understand what’s going on. When I tell you I read this sooooo fast I felt like I was in one of those fast reader competition😆😭I just couldn’t stop, I just needed to know what happens next. Then I got to the CLIFFHANGER omgggg whyyyyyyyyy. In the words of the movie Big Daddy “pu pu please don’t do this to me”😭😭😭 Just a couple more weeks til I literally devour the ending to their story and I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!

This enemies to lovers was sooo hot!!! I loved the banter back and forth between the characters, I couldn’t put this book down. I had to know what was going to happen next. Be prepared to have to put the book down long enough to take a breather. They heat between Daphne and Lev is off the charts and not for the faint at heart
I flove Daphne, she is loud, brash and just the absolute best. I felt a kinship with her for some reason but I can’t quite place my finger on it.
Lev is dark and broody with an edge of danger which makes him all the hotter in my mind.
Daphne’s first escape was entertaining and pretty funny. I could visualize her climbing up, and it brought back of a funny memory from one particular day I skipped a class in high school and still have the scar many years later.
Both of these ladies need to continue to write together as well as separately. I can’t seem to get enough of them.

I really enjoy this authors writing. I always want to grab her books to read. This book is just as good as all the others, and has bits of spiciness and comedy that makes for a great romance read. You can feel the chemistry jumping off the pages, almost like you’re in the room with Fyn and Bridget. This book has so much to offer! I definitely recommend.

For such a quick read, I was absolutely blown away by the 7th book in the Masters of the Consulate series! I love this author and am always excited when I get to pick up another magnificent work of art from her. If you have responsibilities, take care of them before you pick this book up because you will absolutely neglect them after you get lost in this story. The way the author is able to craft such a dangerous, magical realm with characters you can’t help but be invested in is unbelievable. Campania and Willow have such an intriguing chemistry and the author keeps you engaged with them the whole way through. I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series!

I never hesitate to pick any book up from this author! I loved this one more than the first (Royally Complicated), and that’s a rare thing! Lev and Daphne have such a captivating chemistry that you’ll feel the tension jump right off the pages. The level of emotions you feel from them is incredible. I love how strong (and stubborn) Daphne is throughout this story because Lev sure doesn’t know how to handle her at first. Also, there are steamy scenes in here to die for. I highly recommend picking this up and giving it a chance, but don’t forget to pick up the first as well to get a little more back story on everyone involved!

This book follows two of the characters we met in the first book…Lev and Daphne. These two couldn’t be more opposite if they tried! Their banter had me laughing out loud…and the steaminess what H-O-T!
Daphne is not ready to return to a country where her best friend won’t be by her side…and Lev is ready for a vacation while the Prince and Princess are away. What neither of them expect is that they will spending it together since they have a love-to-hate each other relationship. What ensues is funny, dramatic, endearing, and (at times) frustrating!
Just like the first book in the series, this one is filled with twists and turns that you may not see coming. It is also amazingly written and I couldn’t put it down! These authors make magic on the pages and I am here for it!

Thought provoking. Informative. Inspirational. This is the first book I have read by the talented Janice Pratt and honestly, I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect which led to a huge surprise. Amaleigha is an American third grade student. Her teacher Mr. Bowels has exciting news about the class having pen pals across the world in the Ukraine. Throughout the book her class learns about the Ukraine, their customs and history between waiting for their next letters. Suddenly, Vova, her pen pal and several others are saying the same things that the news is. Russia has declared war on Ukraine, and they don’t know when they can write again. Determined to try and help Amaleigha and her class work together to help their new friends. This book covers several levels of curiosity. About other countries outside your own, the customs and traditions of others, empathy for others, and finding ways to help when you feel too small to do anything. I read this book to my two sons, eleven and six, and they both started asking more questions, asking if it was real, if it was still happening and if we could do anything to help. This book helps children understand that just because we live in different places and do things differently it doesn’t mean we are different. Amaleigha instantly saw the similarities in her and Vova. The book doesn’t necessarily have an end, but it ends with a prayer. For the children, families, and people of Ukraine.

Master Campania is the seventh book from the Masters of the Consulate series. I have not read all of the books so far but I have read a few of them. Even though each book is about one of the Vampire Masters finding their mates, there is a subplot connecting each book to each other. Each book can technically be read as a stand alone, but I suggest reading each book of the series to be fully engaged with the characters.
This time around, it’s about Master Campania and Willow, who is a witch. Vampires and witches are enemies and can never be fated mates right? Well Campania and Willow are both starting to wonder if that is true or not.
Master Campania is looking for a group of witches he heard was in his territory. He’s hoping to get some information out of them about rogue vampires who are working with witches. When he finds the group he is looking for, he is instantly attracted to one of them. Campania convinces her (Willow) to come have a civil talk and he will leave her and her friends alone.
Although Willow has left the academy, she still felt connected to her fellow witches and lied to Campania about where he could find some rogues. Before Willow and her friends can escape, Campania catches on and appears to the group of females. He kidnaps them and keeps Willow with him. She WILL help him if she wants to see her friends again.
Thus begins the classic tale of enemies to lovers. There is a strong connection between the two of them but years of being taught to despise each other’s kind is bound to get in the way. Will they be able to put their differences aside for the greater good?
Once again the author was able to create a romantic scene within a world of darkness. I loved each book of this series I have read so far and can’t wait to read about the next Master of the Consulate!

As Though You Were mine simply said was an amazingly well written story that played on so many of my emotions. This story is about giving, grief, love, drama, and family. Julie helped her brother and her sister-in-law by donating her eggs so they could have children, and four years later she must be the parent as the twin’s parents were both lost in a car accident. Julie is struggling, her family is not to sure that raising the kids is the right job for her, and then Grant enters, who is the twin uncle and bio father. They are both grieving and wanting the best for the twins, but through it they build something with each other. J. Marie Rundquist truly hit it home with this book. All the emotions that went into this book truly will make you cry, make you smile, and make your heart go up and down. I truly recommend this book and say try to have some tissues ready!!!

What is worse that could happen when you run away from your problems at home to a foreign country and have hate sex? Having hate sex with your best friend’s new husband’s best friend. Daphne never had intentions of staying in Lovolia longer than the wedding but when things change with Lev Daphne has no choice. The chemistry between the two is off the chart but they are worse than gasoline to a fire!! This book is great. Many different twists and turns that you never can predict what will happen next! Can’t wait to see what this author comes out with next.

I thought this book was as great way to start a new series. It is an interesting take on an ex-military character. I can’t recall another book that it is the female character who was in the military, let alone a sniper. I engaged with the story easily and became invested in the characters pretty quickly. I liked the fact the author didn’t shy away from the PTSD element of the book. This author is one that I have become recently familiar with and this is another one of her books I can say I thoroughly enjoyed. I am definitely looking forward to the rest of the series.

This was my first book by Gwyn and I have to say I am now a fan for sure. This is the first in the series even though this is a stand alone series, this book is a great start! Once again, I loved another addition of the Master’s of the Consulate series. Master Campania and the other purebloods are still on the hunt for rogue witches and shifters. Campania seeks information from local witches who have left their coven. What he doesn’t realize is that the witch he finds will have a connection to him. Willow is a powerful witch who has left her coven due to not agreeing with the leader. She is hoping to just live her life peacefully but knows exactly who Campania is when he walks into the bar. Very quickly they move from enemies to lovers. However, Campania always doubted the witches because of the history the vampires have with them. Even though both feel the psychic connection, he speaks of the lack of trust which breaks Willow’s heart. In the end, both realize what needs to be done and how they need each other to survive this life. This isn’t the last installment of this series so does end with their story finished, but another will take place. As usual, I loved their story. These books are short, sweet, entertaining, to the point, with a little romance involved. Both characters were loveable. The couple had great banter and chemistry. I can’t wait for the next one.

Lev is the stoic bodyguard, ready to protect the Prince Fynix so when Fyn met Bridget on the private his life has not been the same. Although Fyn is happy with Bridget, she bring baggage with her in her best friend Daphne who is the royal pain in the bum to Lev. Can the grumpy bodyguard become friends with this annoying American or will they kill each other?
Daphne has become a staple at the Palace but when a brief encounter with the grumpy bodyguard leave her frustrated and confused, so when Bridget and Fyn go on honeymoon Daphne has a secret and can’t go home she decides to sneak into the private villa of Fyn but unbeknownst to her, Lev is relaxing there. Can they put there away there dislike for each other aside and realise that there is actually an attraction.
This is the second book in this series and although this mainly revolves around Daphne and Lev you could read this as a stand alone story but if would be advisable to read the first book as it gives you the background the characters and how they have together.
The chemistry from the two main characters jumps right off the page and opens up Lev as a character as in the first book he is very shut down person but you get at more of the history and how his family become involved with the Royal family in Lovolia. Daphne was a strong character in the first book but this book shows the vulnerable side of her which it seems not many people see.
The twists and turns that occur in the story, keeps the story moving and flows brilliantly. The secondary characters enhances the book and with the beautiful descriptions of the landscape you feel that the land is a character all of its own. I can’t to read the next book in this sequence as you can’t leave the ending like that, I need to know me.

I recommend that you pick up this book and also a box of tissues. This book is so emotionally-wrenching (in a good way) that you will feel like you are experiencing life right along with Julie and the twins. I became so wrapped-up in this story that I did not want it to end. If you are looking for a book that will take you along for the ride and make you feel ALL the feels, then this is for you. A unique story of becoming a parent that you don’t have to actually be a parent to appreciate and love. A book has not made me feel so deeply such a range of emotions in a long time. I guarantee that you will fall in love with Julie, and the people who come in and out of her life, and will be recommending this book to everyone in yours.

Russian and Royally Complicated was straight fire! I enjoyed the previous book immensely but this book demolished me. I loved it! It was wild, steamy, edge of your seat inducing, and full of the best snark imaginable. An enemies to lovers romance Lev and Daphne were destined to fall in love or kill each other and I was absolutely enthralled once I started to read it. I really appreciated the two of them having dedicated chapters so you could understand both of their perspectives throughout the book. It’s also a stand alone romance but these characters are introduced in book one, so it can be read by itself or as part of a series. These authors are phenomenal and I am totally committed to anything, hopefully more royally complicated books, but more things they publish in the future!

This is book 7 of the Masters of the Consulate series and these books just keep getting better and better. As the Masters get closer to bringing down the rogue vampires the story really keeps you on the edge of your seat. And with this being a paranormal romance there is a fated mates element too in the form of Master Campania and Willow. Master Campania is a confirmed bachelor, never wanting to settle down with a woman until he meets Willow. However, everything says they shouldn’t be together, the main reason being he is a vampire and Willow is a witch. With bad blood between them can they even trust each other enough to make a relationship work? Their connection is so strong and the chemistry between them is so hot that both parties could end up burning in the flames. Campania searches Willow out to help him find the witches that are helping the rogue vampires and shifters who are determined to destroy the life that the vampires have created. However he gets more than he anticipated when he finally gets his witch.
This story is fast paced and full of action as well as high emotions. The writing really drags you into the story making you feel every confusing emotion that Campania and Willow go through on their path to discovering what they mean to each other. The story ends setting us up perfectly for the next book. Will the Masters of the Consulate finally be able to rid themselves of the rogue vampires and threat to their way of life or will they escape again? And what part do the witches play? I have a feeling that there is something deeper going on with the witches and the side the choose.

Ian Troy is a Shinree addicted to magic. He stumbles across an instrument of immense power and pays for it dearly, though it was done with the best of intentions. He trades addictions from magic to debauchery and travels alone through the land until he is forced by an enemy to return to magic to save his land. I liked this! There was solid world building skill and the book moved fast. I will keep my eye on this author.

It’s Jon & Frank’s second year at West Hills School for the Perceptually Gifted and they are ready for the Zodiac Games, a competition between the houses. They are training to be the champions, but everything seems to be working against them and sinister forces are trying to keep them from winning the games – or worse. This is a sweet fantasy series for tweens. It is great for vocabulary and reading and the story is fun enough the kids won’t even know they are learning.

This was my 1st spooky season read & it was good for dipping my toes in! Brimming with vampires & witches & magic & werewolves, it definitely matches the vibe. The storyline moves right along & there’s never a dull moment. Willow is so easily likeable, I never got annoyed with her decision making or thought she was doing too much. She is brave & sweet & fights for what she believes in. Campania is smoldering & sexy & also never p*ssed me off lol. They had a steamy scene but I wished for more! The other characters were all great too & really solidly supportive. & we always love a good girl power moment ! It was refreshing to read something entertaining without getting my emotions bounced around a Nascar racetrack lol.

This is the seventh book in the Masters of the Consulate Series. They are all just so good. The world that has been built in these books is so deep. I love that these characters are so complex and different. Campania does not like witches so of course his mission he is on involves dealing with one. I love the story between Campania and Willow. Their attraction is off the charts. As with the rest of the series it is hard to put this book down.

This is the third book in the Off the Record series, although this is the first of the series I have read. I feel like I need to go back and read the first two books to understand everything better. This book was an emotional rollercoaster. It was dark and angsty. I love that the mental health aspect was dealt with. The characters were well written so that you can feel the love and loss they experience.
