Brian Fox keeps his secrets closely guarded which has him friend zoning Amanda. He meets Amanda and is instantly attracted to her, but she is his best friend’s sister and he is only a one night time of man. When Brian’s secret though is revealed, Amanda is by his side and Brian gives into his feelings. Can a man who thinks he is damaged goods find happiness or will his fear ruin his own happiness?

I liked this one a lot. I thought the pacing was really good and gave you time to understand the lead characters. I felt for Brian, you could feel for him and why he was the way he was. Amanda was wonderful and I liked that she didn’t see Brian any differently than for who he was. Need to go back and read the rest of the books as this story had some wonderful characters I would like to know more about.
