Gwyn is back and better than ever in her hometown of Hoodoo, Texas. She has moved home, rebuilt relationships with her family and friends, has a super hot boyfriend who’s moving in with her, turned into demon in the last story and her menopause is really turning her into a monster.

In the midst of dealing with Ash being her mate and now moving in, no matter what her feelings are – dealing with newly manifesting powers – settling back in in Hoodoo – dealing with menopause – and the entire wacky cast of characters, her father arrives. Like she didn’t have enough chaos in her life!

The writing is constantly fun and makes me laugh out loud. The assorted kooky cast offers so much enjoyment and the world building is outstanding. I love having a heroine that is not 20, doing everything perfect and having an earth shattering romance with a billionaire to help her along. Gwen bumbles, swears, trips…and kicks butt all along the way. She feels like a friend. I sincerely hope these don’t stop at book 2!
