Wolfbane (Wolfbane Series Book 1) by Celia Hart – Review by Rosanna Ingram

Wolfbane (Wolfbane #1)Wolfbane by Celia Hart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jasmine is a rule-follower that is saving herself for her fated mate. This is quite the opposite of her best friend, Lucy. However, she finds herself confused by the feelings she is getting for Blake, the soon-to-be alpha. While they are sorting through their feelings, Luke returns and feels the bond with Jasmine, even though he planned on being Lucy’s mate. This causes quite a lot of angst and tension. What happens when you are torn between your heart and destiny?

This was quite a different take on the shifter world than I have read in previous books. There is a lot going on…especially angst and drama. There was a lot of indecisiveness from Luke…and stressful to watch fate come between these two best friends. I found myself, on more than one occasion, wanting to smack the characters upside their heads for the decisions they are making…but, it was entertaining to read and I found myself sucked in from the beginning. I will definitely be checking out the next book!
