Arriving Home (A Juniper Lake Series Novel) by Chelsea Lauren is a New Adult MM romance that’s woven with plenty of emotion, angst, heartache, family, past trauma, challenges, and drama. The story tugs on the heartstrings and has some raw and gritty elements and includes some sensitive topics that may be triggering for some readers- subjects such as alcohol abuse/addiction, drugs, childhood trauma, emotional blackmail, and manipulation– so if have issues with any of these topics, then this is probably not the book for you.
The Christmas holidays bring together an author who is grappling with a case of writer’s block and a lonely chef who despairs of ever finding ‘the one’. But their future depends on leaving the pain of the past behind. Easier said than done…
